This 2000 square foot vacation property is just a few minutes from the Sonoma Ranch club house and golf course and a pleasant walk to the excellent Sunset Grill for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails. This house was the Las Cruces featured property in the November issue of New Mexico Magazine.

Enter through the front gate into a beautiful walled courtyard with patio, fountain, mountain views, table, chairs, and patio umbrella.

The large open plan living area has floor to ceiling windows with views of the Organ Mountains, an entertainment center, comfortable leather furniture, ceiling fan, and gas fireplace.

The spacious kitchen has plenty of work space and all the equipment a cook would need for entertaining. There is a large bar and six bar stools.

The hand-crafted dining set comfortably accommodates eight people. There are double French doors that open to the large back patio and garden.

Two of the bedrooms have King size beds and doors to the back patio. The third bedroom has a Queen size bed. All three bedrooms have ceiling fans and walk in closets. Each bathroom has double sinks.

It was very clean, WELL stocked with everything we needed and the communication with the host was excellent. We were disappointed we didn't stay longer, normally we do a lot of cooking and this place would have been perfect. Our comfy beautiful home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and can sleep up to 8 including the sleeper sofa in the living room. The hand-crafted dining table seats 6 and there is additional seating on 3 bar stools at the kitchen island. The home is nestled in the Organ Mountains outside of Las Cruces, NM. You will be stunned anew every morning when you wake up to the incredible mountain views, and then stay up late to watch the stars from one of the outdoor porch seating areas. If it's nice outside enjoy using our outdoor grill (additional charge; see notes), and if it's chilly relax inside in front of the gas fireplace. You'll be surrounded by nature and so close to so many parks and hiking trails, while also being a short drive from Las Cruces to experience delicious southwestern food and culture. Take a break from hectic life and take a deep breath of desert mountain air!

Note the house does have cable and internet, but we are out in the mountains and they are satellite only--so it can be spotty! If you are looking for the best place to spend a week in online meetings this may not be it. Even with 100 degree temps outside, the house remained a cool 72 and the evenings and mornings on the patio we so enjoyable! The pool was perfect for midday swimming! Our host Lisa, was a wonderful representative of New Mexico hospitality and answered messages so promptly! She gave us great advice for things we were looking for and their hospitality book was very thorough with information for the area. They have thought of everything!
