Escape to our peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home nestled in the grasslands of Sonoita wine country. Set on 2.75 fenced acres, the home accommodates up to 6 guests.

Inside, you'll find an open floor plan that connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas.
Each bedroom features a king-sized bed and blackout curtains. Enjoy the covered patio with a twin-sized porch swing—perfect for a sunset glass of wine, or sipping your morning coffee. The hilltop views add an incredible charm to the home.

The 36" Blackstone griddle is safely positioned away from the structure, and ready for grilling.

The home is dog-friendly and fully fenced, so you can bring your pups along to enjoy the rural landscape. Whether you're coming to explore local wineries, hike in the stunning landscape, or simply unwind in nature, this is the perfect spot for your Sonoita stay.

A short rental agreement to sign must be completed within 48 hours of booking.

There is onsite parking available at the detached carport. You can also park on the grass closer to the home.
Please note that the driveway is steep and the access road is dirt; 4-wheel drive is not required, but can be helpful in inclement weather. If you're not comfortable driving up the hill, you can park on the road too.

Laundry facilities are available for your use - located inside the detached carport.

Saturday mornings the trash is picked up by a valet service. A trailer is driven onto the property and trash is taken by hand from the trash can at the carport. Please note, all trash must be bagged and tied - no “loose” trash should be thrown in the trash can. The gate will be opened during this time.

The wood burning stove is not currently in service; don't worry, the home has central heating.

Santa Cruz County is known for its breathtakingly clear and starry night skies, which are protected by light pollution regulations. These measures aim to preserve the natural beauty of the dark skies for residents and visitors alike. To support this effort and respect the community sentiment, we kindly ask our guests to keep off the carport and patio lights when they're not in use.

However, please feel free to use outdoor lights as needed during your stay—there’s no need to keep them off completely (especially if you're coming back after dark!). This small effort helps ensure we remain considerate of our neighbors.

We’re excited to welcome your fur babies. Up to 2 dogs are allowed, with a per pet fee of $75 each. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate cats, horses or any other animals. The neighbors have 2 dogs and one section of the fence line is shared with the neighbors.
- Please be sure to pick up after your pups —waste bags are provided.
- We kindly ask that you don’t leave your dogs unattended inside or outside.
- Please don’t allow dogs on the beds or furniture. If there’s excessive hair or damage, an extra cleaning fee will apply.
This rural landscape may have ticks, hawks and other outdoor hazards that can affect your beloved pets.
Trash is picked up by a trash valet service every Saturday morning. The gate will be open during this time.

A 1573 sq ft split bedroom plan home with beautiful mountain views less than 2 miles from the center of Sonoita. The two spacious bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house affording visitors maximum privacy. Both have en suite baths. Master bath has a large claw toed soaking tub as well as full separate shower.

This open concept home has a full kitchen stocked and ready for cooking and eating. The living and dining area is large and inviting with large windows and doors opening to a surround porch with sunrise and sunset views so you can enjoy multiple outdoor living areas in this quiet neighborhood. Located under the shadow of Mt. Wrightson, enjoy the calmness and serenity. Plenty of off road parking is available.

This home is located in the middle of Sonoita and Eligin wine country with many vineyards, two breweries and a mead manufacturer nearby. Several local restaurants are also close by.

The area is known for our wineries and tasting rooms, hunting, ranching and excellent bird watching and dark skies. Amazing hiking opportunities are in the immediate and surrounding area including access to several Arizona Trail Head locations. Close proximity to the Coronado National Forest offers a wide variety of outdoor recreation activities. Patagonia Lake State park is a 30:minute drive, and Parker Canyon Lake is about 45 minutes away.

Sierra Vista is 35 minutes east and provides shopping, dining and movies. The historic towns of Tombstone, Bisbee, and Tubac located nearby are great day excursions to experience the western history that shaped this region and state. The closest border crossing to Mexico is in Nogales which is 40 minutes away. Kartchner Caverns State Park is 35 minutes away. This living cave is an amazing tour for all ages but it requires a reservation.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the property. The home has a walled courtyard, but outside of courtyard area dogs must be leashed.

The living room has a non operational kiva fireplace. But, we have added a small fire pit in the fireplace that can be used to replicate the flames. The fuel for the fire pit is under the kitchen sink. The main couch I the living room can’t be pulled out to make a queen bed. Linens for it are in the master closet. The property has wireless internet. The television has a fire stick so you can log into you entertainment channels with your account passwords.

We are taking extra precautions when cleaning the property after guest visits. Aside from using cleaning disinfectants, we also run a commercial grade ozone generator between guest visits. We are comfortable that when you arrive the home is clean and sanitized.

L’Alba means sunrise in Italian and there’s no better place to watch it than in this home in the middle of wine country in Sonoita/Elgin Arizona. L’Alba is located on the high ground of 10.5 acres surrounded by several mountain ranges. This house begs you to sit, relax and rejuvenate while enjoy the peace that surrounds you. The kitchen and hallway have floor to ceiling windows with some of the best views in the area!

Sonoita is approximately at 4,800 feet elevation and mornings and evenings are cool year round.

Sonoita is in the heart of southern Arizona’s wine country but is also close to other attractions and activities. It’s the perfect location for individuals, couples and families to come to explore and enjoy the quietness of nature. The area currently has 15 vineyards, two breweries and one mead manufacturer. If you get tired of ‘tastings,’ Tombstone, Bisbee, Patagonia, Nogales, and Wilcox are easy driving distances to explore. The area has excellent hiking, birding and hunting.

The house:

You enter from a large off-road parking area. An EV charger is available for use and is located in the parking area.

The living room has a smart television with the most common streaming apps. There is an antenna that is connected for local channels or you can sign into your existing streaming accounts to watch your favorite shows. The living room features a couch with a chaise lounge and an over sized chair for your use. There is free wireless WiFi internet in the home.

There are two bedrooms and two baths in the house. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. The master has an en-suite bath with a large shower and a sitting area. The second bath is a shower and tub combination located in the hall to provide shared use.

The kitchen has full size appliances and is well equipped for cooking while you are there. The refrigerator has an ice maker in the top freezer and a water dispenser inside the refrigerator. The stove/oven is electric and there is a coffee bar with a Keurig coffee pot. Additionally there is a dishwasher, microwave and dining table. A seating area is arranged by the windows.

There are several seating areas outside around three sides of the house and a large blue charcoal grill. There is a large outdoor game area including a bocce ball court. Use the yoga mats in the bocce court and enjoy sunrise yoga. Next to the game area is a pathway leading to the highest point of the property for sunset viewing.

There is a Weber grill outside the kitchen for grilling. Yoga mats are in the kitchen pantry, a variety of puzzles are in the living room and outdoor games are next to bocce ball court.

Please note: There is no TV reception (we do have a dvd player). Satellite Internet is provided (but may be slower than you are used to and is subject to weather outages). This is a remote property. Your cell phone will have limited connectivity in the canyon (Verizon works best, but we suggest you set up wifi calling on your phone). There is a landline in the cabin. While there are two gift stores in the canyon, the next closest businesses are 15 miles away. I recommend you get gas and stop at the grocery store before you drive into the canyon. Don't forget to buy a bag of sugar to make syrup to feed the hummingbirds!

Please note there is NO washing machine for guest use.

Welcome to Dogwood Flats, a newly renovated 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen. We are located approximately 3 miles south of the center of Sonoita in the oak trees, but don't worry, you will still be able to enjoy incredible views of the Santa Rita Mountains and the beautiful sunsets. The location of Dogwood Flats is the perfect base of operation, whether you are here to enjoy some hiking, bird watching, wine tasting, hunting, or time at the nearby lakes.

THE SPACE
A cozy one-bedroom (king), one-bathroom guest house with a full kitchen. The sofa does pull out into a bed for additional sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is stocked with essential equipment should you wish to cook a meal, and a propane grill is available on the patio. There is no TV; however, we do have wifi, so you can bring your laptop or tablet should you want to watch a little TV or a movie. If you want to unplug, there are several board games and decks of cards for your entertainment.

OTHER INFORMATION
The welcoming committee consists of our "puppy girl," Rinella, who is a ball-crazy border collie and our friendly barn cat, Skittles. The guest house does have a fenced-in yard to keep our animals out of the area during your stay. If you forsee any issues, please let us know immediately.

Note: We are pet-friendly and have $25 pet fee. We ask that you do not leave your pets in the yard or the house unattended unless they are kenneled.

Hosts reside in the main house located on the property and may be seen tending to the landscaping, feeding the animals, or grilling on their back patio. We love interacting with our guests but will not approach you out of courtesy for your comfort and privacy. But please feel free to say hi or stop us if you would like to chat about the local sights or the property itself. We can also be contacted through VRBO during your stay. Welcome to our southwestern style ranch home in Sonoita/Elgin, Arizona's beautiful wine country! Our home is 2,600 square feet and sits on 20 acres, and is even walking distance to one winery. Our entire home is available for a wine country getaway. With three bedrooms (two king/one queen), two full bathrooms each with dual vanities (and a half bath), an amazing kitchen, dining, and living space, and super high-speed Internet, our home is ideal for two or three couples or a family getaway. You can also get married here!

The house has a beautiful Arizona room with eastern-facing views of "The Biscuit," a mountain feature looking like a rising pastry in the oven. With a cozy reading spot, the Arizona room is perfect for all seasons to enjoy sunrises and the stunning views of the rolling plains. Off of the spacious breakfast nook are the Santa Rita mountains, one of the original famous "Sky Islands" in Arizona that towers above the desert floor.

The Willhelm Family Winery is a short 15-minute walk down the road and across the street. A dozen wineries are all just around the corner, so be sure to check them out! Broadway musical buff? The musical, "Oklahoma!" was filmed here. Just down the street is where the famous train station scene was shot. The neighborhood gives you true country vibes with longhorn cattle grazing nearby.

Enjoy watching western films like "Tombstone" on the 4K TV on the southwestern-style furniture. Or just go to the real thing: Tombstone and Bisbee, another old West town, are just about 45 minutes away.

The sky is very dark at night so you can enjoy some stargazing. The Sonoita-Elgin region is not only wine country, but it's also one of the best regions for birding in the world.

We’ve added a ceramic heater/electric fireplace to the Arizona Room, along with binoculars, so you can try to spot some wildfire during the day or stargaze at night, all from the comfort of being inside.

You can stay plugged in with complimentary and super fast WiFi suitable for working from home. (We’ve both done video conferencing at the same time and the speeds are awesome.) We also installed a cell signal booster system that boosts the signal of all major cell phone carriers within the house.

Although check in is 4pm (because it’s a large house and we need time to clean it), if there aren’t guests leaving that same day we are happy to entertain reasonable requests for early check in.

We had a 30 amp installed so you can hook up an RV.

Patagonia Oaks is a beautiful home built on 11.5 acres in the oak woodlands of Flux Canyon. We are adjacent to the Coronado National Forest in Southeastern, Arizona.
Our home is fully furnished and has 2 large screened porches to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets over the surrounding mountains. Patagonia Oaks is a nature lovers' paradise. Over 80 species of birds have been observed from the comfort of our porches, including 8 species of hummingbirds and 6 species of woodpeckers. Feeders and seed are provided for the enjoyment of our guests.
We are located only 3.5 miles from Patagonia which provides an environment that is peaceful yet not too remote.We have large trees, a short hiking trail with beautiful views of the surrounding mountians and an absoultly incredible night sky. We are only minutes from town as well as Patagonia Lake State Park and also the Nature Conservancy's Sonoita Creek Preserve. We are just over an hours drive from Tucson and less than an hour from Tombstone, Karchner Caverns, several golf courses, shopping in Tubac. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, etc. there is something here for everybody, come, enjoy and RELAX!
Late summer and early fall is green and lush with an abundance of flowers, butterflies and an amazing number of hummingbirds. Come see SouthEast Arizona at the prettiest time of the year.
FYI In Jan 2019 I bought all new living room furniture, bought 2 new TV`s, replaced both porch doors and replaced the hot water heater. It did not occur to me at the time to take pics of the new stuff. I will add more pics when I get back down there.

While there are two gift stores in the canyon, the next closest businesses are 15 miles away. I recommend you get gas and stop at the grocery store before you drive into the canyon.

Two bedrooms two baths with spectacular views on 40 acres in a gated community. Our home is situated in the high plains 45 minutes south of Tucson, AZ and 10 minutes north of Sonoita - the heart of Arizona’s renowned wine country. Our guests love the sweeping mountain/prairie views from the wrap around porch. The kitchen is fully equipped - guests have said it’s one of the best equipped kitchens they’ve seen. A propane Webber is available for grilling outdoors. The continuous sliding glass doors on two walls of the living room allow you bring the outside in. There are fans in every room as well as central AC/heating. There is a stack washer/dryer on site for your convenience. Our guests have come back year after year and refer their friends. We only rent three or four months of the year because we love to be there, too!

- "We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Casita! We were looking for a special retreat in a semi-remote, high-desert area and could not have been more fortunate than to stay here. The scenery and residence far exceeded our expectations. The Casita is laid out well. The decor is very tasteful and made us feel comfortable and at home right away. Everything we needed was provided, from cooking utensils to spices, a large refrigerator, books, magazines, internet service, and a nice TV. The owners communicated with us very well but were never intrusive. Whenever we had questions, they responded very quickly and when we needed a little assistance they acted quickly and decisively to help us. Although we intended to spend most of our time birding the local avian hotspots, we were continually drawn back to the comfort of the Casita by the spectacular vistas and amazing sunsets. Gorgeous! Before our visit, we didn't truly grasp the significance of staying near the Coronado National Forest and the Las Cienegas Nature Conservancy. Being so very close to these natural resources gave us plenty of additional opportunities to observe nature just a few minutes away. Because of the Casita's central location, we did also enjoy short drives of about an hour to bird in Sierra Vista, Tucson, Madera Canyon, Patagonia (fairly close), Pena Blanca, DeAnza Trail, all the canyons in the Huachuca Mountains, Whitewater Draw, etc.. We did enjoy some local wine tasting and sampling various restaurants in Sonoita and Patagonia. We found the neighbors to be very friendly - we met several on the road in from the highway. We also found the townspeople in nearby Sonoita and Patagonia to be very friendly and welcoming of tourists such as ourselves. We can't wait to return to this gorgeous property and beautiful surroundings. Thank you Patti and David for sharing your gorgeous property with us!"

Our Farm is nestled in the hills outside Sonoita. Remote and secluded, complete with farm animals and a lavender field, yet only 10 minutes from Sonoita, with its wineries and hiking and biking trails. The RV has plenty of space around it, with a private area to relax around the propane fire pit and star gaze. it is an older model RV but has been renovated and has an upgraded memory foam mattress. The kitchen is well equipped to make meals for two and we also have a propane bbq grill.

The space
the RV has a full size bed, memory foam mattress. The bathroom and shower have soap, shampoo and conditioner. Fridge, oven, stove, microwave, drip coffee maker. Coffee, and dry creamer and sugar provided. Everything you need to make a meal for two. Outside there is a propane bbq and seating around a propane fire pit. the heater does not work, but the A/C does. We have fans as well as a space heater.

I usually do this ahead of time, but am not always available for last minute bookings, so read directions on lighting the pilot light for the oven and stove, if not on. Also, turning on the hot water heater.

Located right in "downtown" Sonoita, the Winemaker's Casita is a perfect basecamp for wine tasting, hiking, birding, and exploring Parker Canyon Lake and other local destinations.

This studio guest house with an open floor plan can very comfortably host two.

PLEASE NOTE- while we are happy to host you and your well-behaved dog, the Casita only has a walled porch- not a fenced yard. Additionally, we are located right on a highway. If you do want to bring your dog along, we strongly encourage you to keep them leashed and close to you. Additionally, PLEASE do not leave your dog in the Casita unattended for extended periods of time. Many restaurants and wineries in Sonoita are pet-friendly, so you should have no issues bringing your dog along with you.

KITCHEN AMENITIES: The Casita kitchen is fully outfitted with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, basic cookware and utensils, and wine glasses to enjoy local Sonoita wine!
BATHROOM AMENITIES: We provide basics such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer conveniently located in the Casita bathroom. Laundry detergent is provided.
BEDROOM AMENITIES: A cozy queen bed with extra bedding is provided.
INDOOR LIVING: The comfy casita living room is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine and spend time together. We've provided a selection of games as well as magazines to enjoy.

The Five Ranges Outpost gets its name from the five mountain ranges that surround this region of Arizona, all viewable from our property: Mt. Wrightson and the
Santa Rita Mountains to the West and Northwest; the Whetstones to the East; the Mustang and Mule Mountains to the Southeast; the Huachuca Mountains to the South.

INCREDIBLE VIEWS! Enjoy some of the best views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the village of Sonoita from our multiple patios. Take in a dramatic sunset over the Santa Ritas, or watch the monsoons roll in from the Arizona borderlands. After dark you’ll likely see the Milky Way, meteors, and a flyby of the ISS.

The home comfortably sleeps up to six guests. The primary bedroom includes a king Tempur-pedic mattress, custom hand-made pine headboard, and an attached bath with shower. The second bedroom features a queen Sleepys mattress and desk. The third
bedroom offers flexibility with a comfortable pullout couch that becomes a double bed.

The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee bar with a variety of teas and coffee provided. The dining table in our expansive Arizona room seats six, or smaller groups can cozy up at the bar or breakfast nook. This beautiful home sits on 20 acres in Sonoita, AZ. There are plenty of wineries in the area, and a tour can be arranged if you like.

The space
This home has recently been painted through-out and has new window blinds.

You can have your coffee and watch the sun rise over the Whetstone Mountains on the back patio. The evening sun sets on the Santa Rita Mountains, which you can enjoy with a glass of wine on the front patio.

There is a four-stall barn, walk-out stalls, two dry lots, Nelson waterers and plenty of areas to ride. Your dog(s) can easily access the newly fenced back yard through the recently installed doggy door, off the dining area.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS :

1- No parties or events of any kind.
2- The home is equipped for six people. No unapproved/unchecked guests may stay overnight.
3- No smoking (Sonoita is in a fire hazard area).
4- If any of this occurs, your stay will canceled with no questions and no refunds.

You are welcome to use the property, with the exception of any locked rooms, (one in the master bedroom and two in the barn). We just ask that you are respectful of the neighbors, etc.

If you plan to bring dogs/horses, please note that this property is rural and high desert. As such, we have critters prowling around such as coyotes, javalena, skunks, rattlesnakes, etc. While most of our wildlife isn't interested in interacting with your animals, it is advisable to vaccinate your pets for rabies, rattlesnakes, etc. We allow up to two dogs and two horses (additional horses would need to be approved). Pasture grazing is currently unavailable.

You are guaranteed to enjoy quiet evenings, watching the horses graze as the sun sets over the Santa Rita Mountains. This newly built casita has a full kitchen with eating island, large screen tv and walk-in closet. The patio furniture is cozy and there's a barbecue for outdoor grilling. Your pup will enjoy the doggy door and the convenience of going in and out of the fully fenced back yard as needed.

The space
Our home, the casita and barn sit on 20 acres with multiple pastures and plenty of parking. There is a front and back patio on the casita to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail in the outdoors.
You'll be surprised at how quiet it is here with the exception of the occasional coyote call.

We also have an additional three bedroom house available on AirBnB, in case you have friends/family looking for accommodation.

Welcome to Dogwood Flats, a newly renovated 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen. We are located approximately 3 miles south of the center of Sonoita in the oak trees but don't worry you will still be able to enjoy incredible views of the Santa Rita Mountains and the beautiful sunsets. The location of Dogwood Flats is the perfect base of operation whether you are here to enjoy some hiking, bird watching, wine tasting, hunting, or some time at the nearby lakes.

A cozy one-bedroom (king), one-bathroom guest house with a full kitchen. The sofa does pull out into a bed for additional sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is stocked with essential equipment should you wish to cook a meal, and a propane grill is available on the patio. There is no TV; however, we do have wifi, so you can bring your laptop or tablet should you want to watch a little TV or a movie. If you want to unplug, there are several board games and decks of cards for your entertainment.

Note: We are pet friendly and do charge a $25 pet fee. Also, we ask that you do not leave your pet(s) unattended in the yard or house unless they are kenneled.

In 1990 my grandparents built the current home which they nicknamed Hummingbird Hill. It sits at a high spot in the canyon which lends itself to beautiful mountain views, sunsets and hummingbird watching. It was their dream retirement home. The home itself was custom built by Richard Lansky. You won't believe the detailed woodworking. Richard still lives in the canyon and helps me with maintenance. I have recently inherited it and can't bear to part with it - not only because of the memories but also because of the unique building and location. My husband and I are not able to move to the canyon right now as we have jobs out of state, but hope it can become our dream retirement home as well. The home is surrounded by the Coronado National Forest. Property is walking distance to trailheads, picnic areas and favorite birdwatching spots.

Whether you’re visiting Sonoita to enjoy the local wineries, a horse show, or hunting rest assured that your animals can be as comfortable as you are! This private residence is just under 5 acres fully fenced for your well behaved dog. Explore trails in the morning and sip local wine in the afternoon, all while taking in sprawling grasslands, wildlife, and beautiful stars in the evening. Property also includes a 40x60 horse facility w/ shade.

The space
***If you are bringing horses and using horse facilities, please make sure to contact the host ahead of time for details.***

2 well behaved dogs are welcome. If you are bringing dogs, please make sure they are included on the reservation.

Other things to note
WiFi lock: the WiFi lock controls the deadbolt only. If you lock the knob from the inside and exit, it will lock you out.

Dog Rules:
No more than 2-dogs allowed; a pet fee of $25 per night will be charged. No cats or other pets.

Please pick up after your dog outside, poop bags are provided.

Please do not leave the dogs outside unattended. (They may dig out of the fenced area, and we would like to keep it peaceful for our neighbors). Owners with dogs left unattended will be asked to leave immediately.

No dogs on the beds or furniture. If dogs leave excess hair or other damage on furniture or linens, you will be charged an extra cleaning fee.


Horse Facility Rules:
No more than 3 horses allowed; a fee of $30 per horse per stay will be charged.
Each owner must provide proof of negative coggins from within the year and a valid health certificate if you’re traveling from out of state. We want to keep the horses in our neighborhood healthy and safe.

Please remember to TURN OFF THE WATER for the horse tank. If you’re staying for a short time, don’t fill it up all the way, as we need guests to drain the tank before checking out.

Please muck your manure and put it in the manure pile behind the corral before you check out. (An extra cleaning fee will be charged if you do not drain the tank or remove horse manure).

Horses must stay in the corral at all times unless you’d like to ride on the property. ABSOLUTELY NO TURN OUT OR GRAZING ON THE PASTURES.

Please drain the water trough before leaving, to cut back on flies and algae.

Escape to our peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home nestled in the grasslands of Sonoita wine country. Set on 2.75 fenced acres, the home accommodates up to 6 guests.

Inside, you'll find an open floor plan that connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas.
Each bedroom features a king-sized bed and blackout curtains. Enjoy the covered patio with a twin-sized porch swing—perfect for a sunset glass of wine, or sipping your morning coffee. The hilltop views add an incredible charm to the home.

The 36" Blackstone griddle is safely positioned away from the structure, and ready for grilling.

The home is dog-friendly and fully fenced, so you can bring your pups along to enjoy the rural landscape. Whether you're coming to explore local wineries, hike in the stunning landscape, or simply unwind in nature, this is the perfect spot for your Sonoita stay.

Our home uses a private well system, so the hot water supply is limited. To ensure everyone has enough hot water, we kindly suggest keeping showers to a reasonable length.

|| PARKING ||
The property is fully fenced and gated.
To enter, you'll need to unlatch and manually open the swing gate (it swings outward) before driving onto the property. You can leave the gate open, or closed throughout your stay - whatever your preference is!

There is onsite parking available at the detached carport. You can also park on the grass closer to the home.

Please note that the driveway is steep and the access road is dirt; 4-wheel drive is not required, but can be helpful in inclement weather. If you're not comfortable driving up the hill, you can park on the road too.

Due to the rural nature of our surroundings, you may encounter wildlife like deer and skunks, as well as ticks, hawks, scorpions, spiders, and occasional snakes.


|| ACCOMODATIONS ||
Laundry facilities are available for your use - located inside the detached carport.

Saturday mornings the trash is picked up by a valet service. A trailer is driven onto the property and trash is taken by hand from the trash can at the carport. Please note, all trash must be bagged and tied - no “loose” trash should be thrown in the trash can. The gate will be opened during this time.

The wood burning stove is not currently in service; don't worry, the home has central heating.

|| COUNTY REGULATIONS||
Santa Cruz County is known for its breathtakingly clear and starry night skies, which are protected by light pollution regulations. These measures aim to preserve the natural beauty of the dark skies for residents and visitors alike. To support this effort and respect the community sentiment, we kindly ask our guests to keep off the carport and patio lights when they're not in use.

However, please feel free to use outdoor lights as needed during your stay—there’s no need to keep them off completely (especially if you're coming back after dark!). This small effort helps ensure we remain considerate of our neighbors.

We provide a french press coffee maker, and dual (regular or pod) Keurig machine with decaf and regular pods, tea, single-serve Coffee Mate creamer pods, honey sticks, cane sugar, and coffee filters. We do not have a grinder onsite.

Smoking is allowed outside only. Please be sure to clean up all remnants, including cigarette butts.

|| PET POLICY ||
We’re excited to welcome your fur babies. Up to 2 dogs are allowed, with a per pet fee of $75 each. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate cats, horses or any other animals.
- Please be sure to pick up after your pups —waste bags are provided.
- We kindly ask that you don’t leave your dogs unattended inside or outside.
- Please don’t allow dogs on the beds or furniture. If there’s excessive hair or damage, an extra cleaning fee will apply.

This rural landscape may have ticks, hawks and other outdoor hazards that can affect your beloved pets.
IMPORTANT: Trash is picked up by a trash valet service every Saturday morning. The gate will be open during this time.

Santa Rita Lodge is a 5-acre private property within the Coronado National Forest in Madera Canyon. We have 14 rentable rooms, a wellness suite for massage and a Yurt for events! We also have a public Wildlife Viewing Area for maximum exposure to hummingbird feeders and many species of wild birds and other critters. Santa Rita Lodge has existed since 1922 and has been owned and operated by the Holt family since 2006.

A beautiful setting with a very comfy and clean home. The house offers a screened in porch from which to watch beautiful sunsets and an outdoor Ramada from which to bird watch, grill or enjoy a glass of wine.
Under the Oaks is located under 3 enormous oak trees; hence the name. These beautiful trees offer shade, scenery and homes to many varieties of birds.

The space
The home has 3 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has twin beds. There are 2 sofas that can also accommodate sleepers although they are not sleeper sofas.
There are 2 full bathrooms. One has a shower, the second has both a bathtub and a shower. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and hand soaps are available for you use!
The screened in porch provides gorgeous views of the Santa Rita mountains. The
Outdoor ramada offers bird watching, sunrises and a great place to enjoy a glass of wine!

Under the Oaks is on a dirt road!!!! It’s important to be aware of weather conditions. In our summer monsoons drive on the high sides of the road and don’t drive too slowly or too fast. We have a caretaker who can help and Morgan is pretty close by, too!

We have added many home furnishings since taking the initial photos including blinds throughout. The property is fully furnished and ready for rent. This place is great for large groups with plenty of space to roam. We are very flexible to accommodate our guests. The back patio is set up with an outdoor cooking space with a large gas grill cooking station, cooking griddle and counter space. We have also added a shuffle board table in the game room. Also comes with full laundry access to washer and dryer.
