Elsa provided all we needed to make us feel at home during our stay and was quick to respond when we reached out yo her. The patio in the morning is lovely. The neighborhood was quiet and fun to explore on my morning walks. We love this little home and the town. We tried to reserve March 2023 but the casita was already reserved. - "The property was clean and very well designed. The location was great. Temperature and atmosphere was ideal. Plenty of space and great patio to relax. We had problems understanding how to work the combination lock. More detailed instructions would be helpful. The only other suggestion would be how to use the dishwasher. There were dishes in the dishwasher from the previous tenant that were not clean. We added more dishes and started the dishwasher again, but the dishes were still not clean. Our son helped us program the dishwasher correctly, We then we were successful in getting clean dishes. We really enjoyed our stay and loved sitting out on the patio. We look forward to staying again sometime."

Cosy House: Serene studio with great Wi-Fi
House
Patagonia

Welcome to Cosy House! Relax and recharge in this well-equipped, serene studio with full kitchen - or work remotely in comfort.

Enjoy fast, reliable wifi (rare in town) and a reverse osmosis (RO) water dispenser in the full kitchen (also a treat here).

Other features include a comfy queen size bed, 100% cotton sheets and towels, French press coffee maker, Attitude-brand products, and a spacious desk. Explore photos and captions for more details about the studio, and be in touch with questions!

The space
We offer same-day booking, and are happy to consider one-night booking requests on a case-by-case basis.

Cosy House is allergy-friendly; we don’t allow pets, scented candles/plugins/incense/etc, or smoking on the property.

While we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment, we do our best to provide a safe and comfortable environment for folks with pet allergies and scent sensitivities.

We’ve chosen refillable Attitude brand cleaning and bath products for this reason, and use eco-friendly and low scent laundry detergent. Please be in touch with any questions about how we might be able to meet more specific needs.

If you’ve spent time in Patagonia, you’ll really appreciate our excellent wifi and reverse osmosis (RO) filtered water! We’ve invested in a Starlink mesh node for each unit to ensure the best possible connectivity.

Each unit has its own RO-filtered water spigot at the kitchen sink. While Patagonia’s tap water is perfectly safe to drink, it’s ‘hard’ and we prefer the taste of filtered water.

The queen-size bed is exceptionally comfortable: firm mattress, with a two-inch memory foam topper. It's made with a medium-weight duvet and firm Ralph Lauren pillows. Foam contour pillows and extra blankets are on the closet shelves. The bedside lamps include USB charging ports.

Our goal in outfitting our kitchens is to provide the things you’ll need without the clutter of the things you don’t. (Feel free to ask about specifics.)

Each Cosy House offers a variety of books for you to explore, and a puzzle or two that will fit on at least one of the flat surfaces.

Outdoor seating is as pictured in the listing, please be in touch with any questions.

There’s more to Cosy House! In addition to the studio unit, we also offer a two-bedroom unit and a one-bedroom - all in close proximity, great for groups of up to eight people.

Guest access
The studio is all yours, of course, and is on the short leg of the ‘L’ of the three Cosy House units. The yard is a shared space in the sense that we or other guests may occasionally pass through (such as to get to the trash bins), but the furniture immediately outside the studio is for you.

Other things to note
If you’re here with a bicycle, you’re welcome to use the hose on the corner of the studio to wash your bike - but please don’t bring it inside. Past guests have leaned bikes against the outside wall of the studio to the left as you face the front door; you may wish to bring a lock to secure it to the angled post next to the door (please be in touch with any questions). And if you'd like to ship your bike to Patagonia ahead of your visit, we would love to help if we can!

Replenish * Re-calibrate * Reconnect..
Welcome to our little house of dreams! You have found the perfect leaping off point to explore all this region has to offer. Nestled snugly between the Patagonia and Santa Rita mountains, our casita sits at just under 5,000 ft, making it temperature perfect almost year round. Enjoy our 38 acres and private hiking trails right out the front door with endless possibilities for adventure.
Recharge, Rejuvenate, and Revel in our cozy, clean, quite space.

The space
Minimalist, lovingly appointed with organic cotton sheets and towels as well as natural clay paints. The building is rastra construction which provides amazing insulation. Polished concrete floors throughout feel great under foot. There is central air and heating, but we doubt you will need it during your stay. Light and open, there are plenty of windows to let the outside in. A deep well supplies the property with pure and delicious water.
The wrought iron front doors were handmade made by an artisan builder in Sonora, Mexico and open onto a front porch that looks directly on to Red Mountain. Spend an evening watching the sunset here and you will realize the mountain comes by its name honestly. Eco friendly toiletries are provided, as well as coffee from a local roaster and a selection of teas.

The space is perfect for a couple or solo sojourner. It can also accommodate small families with a few tweaks, just ask. There is a simple double bed with an organic mattress in the bedroom. A queen air mattress can also be added to the floor in the living room for extra sleeping space. We also have an inflatable pack-and-play style Go Crib that can be added for no extra charge. Curl up with a good book on the cozy loveseat or while away the day in the handmade rocking chair.

Many a gourmet meal has been dreamt up and made in the compact, yet efficient, kitchen. There is also a small barbecue available for our guest. We use downed mesquite we find on the property for fuel, and find that it gives food a totally unique flavor.

Want a little local knowledge or insider tips? Just ask! We have been here just over 15 years and both our kids were both born here. Our entire property is yours to explore! At certain times of the year we have free range cattle that is ranched by a local Sonotia rancher on our property. In springtime we often have mom/baby pairs peacefully grazing. There are also 2 horse that roam the 200 acres that make up the Patagonia Hills development. They are a very friendly and inquisitive pair.

We recently installed a salt water hot tub on the patio immediately next to our main house. We are happy to share it with our AirBnB guests if you are interested in a soak during your stay.

Other things to note
The house is perfect for chemically sensitive guests. The interior walls are zero VOC clay paint. Only eco friendly cleaning products are used throughout the space. To respect guest with these sensitives, and keep our space welcoming for everyone, we are strict on no pets and no smoking of any kind.

Explore photos/captions and additional descriptions for full details, and feel free to ask questions!

The space
Cosy House: One bedroom is part of a duplex with a private residence on the other side of a shared wall - all tucked into a serene Patagonia neighborhood.

We offer same-day booking, and are happy to consider one-night booking requests on a case-by-case basis.

The main room includes living and dining areas, with a galley kitchen and bedroom adjoining. The bathroom is through the bedroom. The bedroom includes a desk area.

*Please note: there is a shallow step down into the bedroom from the main room.*

Cosy House is allergy-friendly; we don’t allow pets, scented candles/plugins/incense/etc, or smoking/vaping on the property.

While we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment, we do our best to provide a safe and comfortable environment for folks with pet allergies and scent sensitivities.

We’ve chosen refillable Attitude brand cleaning and bath products for that reason, and use eco-friendly and low scent laundry detergent. Please don’t hesitate to be in touch with any questions about how we might be able to meet more specific needs.

If you’ve spent time in Patagonia, you’ll really appreciate our excellent wifi and reverse osmosis (RO) filtered water! We’ve invested in a Starlink mesh node for each unit to ensure the best possible connectivity.

While Patagonia’s tap water is perfectly safe to drink, it’s ‘hard’ and does weird things to tea - so we prefer the taste of filtered water. Each unit has its own RO-filtered water spigot at the kitchen sink.

The queen-size bed is exceptionally comfortable, with a 12” foam Ashley mattress. It's made with a medium-weight duvet and comfortable Serta Dream101 pillows. Foam contour pillows and extra blankets are in the closets.

Our goal in outfitting our kitchens is to provide the things you’ll need without the clutter of the things you don’t. (Feel free to ask about specifics.)

There is an AC/heat wall unit in the bedroom and an electric fireplace heater in the main room. A fan and an additional heater are located in the bedroom closets for additional climate control options.

Each Cosy House offers a library of books to explore, and a puzzle or two - and perhaps a game!

The large covered and enclosed (but not gated) patio boasts two comfortable circle/basket chairs and ample space for bike parking.

**If you travel with a service animal, please note that the one bedroom house does not include an area suitable for service animal bathroom breaks.**

There’s more to Cosy House! In addition to the one-bedroom unit, we also offer a two-bedroom unit and a studio - all in close proximity, great for groups of up to eight people.

Guest access
The one-bedroom unit with spacious enclosed patio is all yours, of course, and is in the middle of the long leg of the ‘L’ of the three Cosy House units. You’ll pass by a private residence to reach your enclosed patio. When you see the two turquoise circle chairs, you’ll know you’re in the right place!

The walkway beyond your patio is a shared space in the sense that we or other guests may occasionally pass by, but the furniture inside the patio is just for you.

Other things to note
If you’re here with a bicycle, you’re welcome to park it in the enclosed patio - but please don’t bring it inside the home. You may wish to bring a lock to secure bikes to the post near the patio entrance. A hose is available on the property for bike washing; please be in touch for details. And if you'd like to ship your bike to Patagonia ahead of your visit, we would love to help if we can!

The space
Welcome to Cosy House in the corner, a sweet two-bedroom, one bath home perfect for up to four people.

We offer same-day booking, and are happy to consider one-night booking requests on a case-by-case basis.

Cosy House units are allergy-friendly; we don’t allow pets, scented candles/plugins/incense/etc, or smoking/vaping on the property.

Guest access
The two bedroom house is in the corner of the ‘L’ of the three Cosy Houses, all tucked into a quiet Patagonia neighborhood. You’ll pass along the long end of the ‘L’ to reach your front door. The courtyard outside the two bedroom is a shared space in the sense that we or other guests may occasionally pass by (such as to get to the housekeeping room or trash bins), but the furniture just outside the entrance is for you.

Other things to note
The left-hand bedroom shares a wall with our laundry room, so you may notice low washer/dryer sounds in that room - but not early or late.

There are two outdoor patios and off-street parking. This home was designed from the ground floor up especially for your comfort and enjoyment.
Historic photos throughout the house show many views of Historic Patagonia. You will find this little Town to be a welcome retreat from the REAL world.

We strive to be scent free in our products. We welcome our guests to use the washer and dryer but ask that they only use our scent free laundry soap and wool dryer balls. Most of our products are 7th Generation or Ecos, and our dish soap and laundry detergent are scent free.

We sanitize with isopropyl alcohol and then rinse with water. Our trash bags are unscented. We don’t have any plug-ins or air freshener sprays.

There is now a video on YouTube that shows our beautiful home.
Go to YouTube and then search for:

PATAGONIA'S PRIVATE PARADISE

Sorry, but we cannot post a direct link to this video on Airbnb. Go ahead and search for it - it's worth it!

The video follows the following descriptions of the house.

The main entrance on the first floor opens into a fully furnished combination living room, dining room and kitchen. Large windows provide lots of natural light and views of the private patios. The kitchen is fully furnished. Stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, a dishwasher, and plenty of storage make meal prep and cleanup easy.
The spacious first floor bedroom has a queen bed, sitting area, and a large closet. The luxurious ensuite bath has a large walk-in shower. Plenty of bed linens and towels are provided.
The laundry room is also on the main floor. It is fully equipped with a washer, dryer, deep sink, iron, ironing board, and plenty of room to store your suitcases.
The spacious upstairs has a queen bed with an ensuite bathroom including a soaker tub. There is also a large walk-in closet, an office nook, and a very large sunset view sitting area. Large windows provide peaceful tree top and distant mountain views.

Guest access
Our guests enjoy being in a setting like their own home here with a great, fenced backyard for privacy.
This is a perfect place to either stay peacefully at home or adventure out to a wonderful small Town or use this as the base for your biking or motor touring of this fantastic area. Go in any direction out of Town and you will be in beautiful surroundings.

Other things to note
You will find this house to be a home away from your home. Patagonia is a very special little Town, and the surrounding area offers unforgettable adventures.

We strive to be scent free in all our products. We welcome our guests to use the washer and dryer but ask that they only use our scent free laundry soap and wool dryer balls. Our products are 7th Generation. Sometimes we use Ecos products but whatever brand it’s always scent free. I do think that our 7th Generation dish washing liquid has lemon scent. We hope you will enjoy dining on the porch with views of the fruit orchard, as much as we do. The property has 17 Asian pear trees, 7 apple trees & 1 peach tree. Enjoy the communal fire pit shared with our second listing, the Straw Bale at The Gravel House. You never know, you may make lifelong friends over a cold beer and/or a meal. With that said, The Raven's Nest is a great spot to get some work done, finish writing that book or staying in touch friends online. The Gravel House
House
Patagonia

*Price includes cleaning fee* 18 miles from the Mexican border & in the heart of downtown Patagonia, AZ sits The Gravel House. A combination of two structures; a straw bale home & a smaller wooden studio. This remote destination property sits quietly at 4,058 feet, the gateway to the San Rafael Valley. This is a place to leave reality behind, dream, and immerse yourself in the high desert of the Borderland region. Ride your gravel or road bike, hike, bird watch or just be!

The space
Welcome to The Gravel House! The two structures on this property are tucked away inside a private large fenced in yard. The Straw Bale house sleeps six people & The Raven's Nest studio sleeps two. The Straw Bale home stays incredibly cool during the summer months. In the winter, stay cozy & warm by the gas stove fire place in both the studio & the main house. Both kitchen's are fully equipped with everything from handmade stoneware pottery to cast iron pans. We are Chef's ourselves & we take the importance of having everything you need in the kitchen very seriously. It's that much more fun to have a kitchen to cook a feast in, especially when you're out of the comforts of your own home. Enjoy an outdoor meal on the porch next to the fruit orchard (17 Asian pair trees, 7 apple trees & 1 peach tree). Bring a bottle of Rune Wine (Sonoita, AZ) or a cold Pueblo Vida beer (Tucson, AZ) out to the fire pit area and watch the stars come out!

The Straw Bale home sleeps up to six people comfortably. The Raven's Nest, our second structure, has one queen bed and works great for two people. The entire property has three bedrooms in total, two full bathrooms + one outdoor shower, two full kitchens & a "nook" with a curtain for privacy with another queen pull-out bed tucked away from the dining area. Both structures have a smart TV.
