The High End Luxury Cabin is up to 8 guests only. What guests love about our "High End Luxury Cabin" is that it gives our smaller families an experience in staying at a beautiful and comfortable home setting. Our beautiful, 2-bedroom cabin is spacious and well appointed. Includes: pool table (bring your own pool sticks), a Foosball table, 4 electric recliners, 2 leather recliners, a large screen TV with surround sound and high speed WIFI. Enjoy the oak dining table for 6 guests, plus, additional tables for 6. There is a new stainless-steel kitchen Hi- Tech style. It is considered a compact kitchen with a deep single sink, refrigerator, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, cookware and so much more. Please note: The kitchen is for 1 or 2 chefs at a time. It is considered "compact". All dishes will be washed by hand, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, no washer/dryer is available. Host suggests that you bring paper goods, such as plates, cups, so that you will have an easier clean-up. Otherwise, there are plenty of dishes. For your outdoor experience we just built a large deck for picnicking and propane barbecue. Free off-street parking at the lower entrance for 3 vehicles . Host can make additional parking available for ATV's and trailers. Please message the host if you need this additional parking.
This cabin backs up to the Lincoln National Forest. Simply walk around to the side of the house, and step into the cool pines. We have wildlife right up to the back yard. Likely, you will see elk, deer, wild horses, small critters and bats. Please keep the doors and windows closed . IMPORTANT: You are renting the lower floor of a 2-story home. The upper floor of the home is not included when renting the "High End Luxury Cabin". You may rent the entire home under the name of the "Woodlands Chalet", for up to 17 guests. For your privacy and security, the staircase is locked from the upper floor. We do have exterior cameras, motion activated. The entire home upper and lower levels have exterior cameras for the safety of our clients. (motion, video, recording) We do not rent the upper floor when we have guests in the lower cabin. Please remember, there are NO PETS allowed on the property or in the cabin or kept in your vehicle. No smoking or drugs in the cabin. Smoking cigars or cigarettes on the front lower deck is acceptable. Please use the small hanging sand bucket for disposal of your butts. Please also note: The forest is dry, and we are under high alert for fires, during the summer. No open fires are allowed. The propane grill is ok, if attended at all times. Please read our reviews. Inasmuch as we NEVER agreed for VRBO to bill our valued customers and their fees are ridiculously expensive, and we pay them $699.00 per year to list our cabin which we bought with our hard earned money and we also maintain said property, upon return vists, we can make other arrangements to avoid their unauthorized, usurious fees. This does not apply to the initial booking. The property is a cozy cabin on a hillside nestled in the pines with an unbelievable view! This cabin is very secluded, yet it is in the Village of Cloudcroft. There are lovely views of mountain splendor even inside the cabin through the large picture window. There is a spacious deck for relaxing, viewing and cooking and dining!

The living area is an open area which houses the kitchen, dining area and living area. The amenities are described herein, however suffice it to say the owners have everything that a lodger needs to have a memorable stay.

The Lodge golf course is a public course. The tee box for the first hole is within a 9 iron away! The course is a blast! It is very affordable and family friendly! Compare to the courses in Ruidoso. The back deck of the house provides an amazing view of the 7th fairway of the Course.

The cabin is next to the road with ample parking. However, the well lighted stairway takes you a good distance from the road where the cabin is in the middle of the woods with a perfect, unspoiled view. Yet, there are stores, restaurants, shops, a gas station, etc. just minutes away.

Great bird watching from the deck where you are level with the tree tops! The lot on the west is a frequent deer hangout and crossing. Elk have been seen crossing through on either side of the cabin as well. It is an amazing place for wildlife. There are houses close by but not next door!

Very comfortable and quiet!" - "We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the forest just outside Cloudcroft with the large deck. Elk, chipmunks, birds, and free range cows visited the property, and we saw elk and deer along the road into Cloudcroft. The other houses along the street are spread out, so there is a sense of privacy. We enjoyed strolling along the street. The highway is just down the street, close to be convenient but not obtrusive or loud. The house was comfortable with colorful southwest/cabin decor and helpful labeled lighting and very clean but could have used more lighting in the bathrooms plus living room for reading, microwavable dishes/containers, replacements for worn-out towels and window frames, and some niceties like luggage racks. The shower (with appreciated grab bar and seat) worked well - we didn't need to use the heat during our stay. Dish TV worked great. The laundry center (including basket) was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. We would have appreciated if the housekeeper took the trash/recycling into town instead of us. The property was just fifteen minutes from Cloudcroft with its walkable block of local shops and allowed for close day trips to White Sands National Park, Pistachioland, etc. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend this cabin near Cloudcroft to all."

A beautiful, scenic drive takes you to Alamogordo and White Sands. Drive through the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation to Ruidosa for more fun. Hiking trail info is in cabin. Welcome to our Simply Enjoy cabin! Our cozy cabin is waiting for you to come in and enjoy its charm after a day out in the mountain air! The large deck will be a retreat to sit and visit about the days adventures! It's newly renovated and has many Google smart home features. Enjoy a king size bed for a great nights sleep and a fully functional kitchen for breakfast. There is also a queen, sofa bed with upgraded memory foam mattress. Walk, bike or drive to all Cloudcroft has to offer.

There is a level 2 EV charger on the property. Approximately 20 paces from the deck of this cabin. Please let us know if you would like to use the EV charger so that we can turn it on. We charge .25 cents a kWh. This is a ChargePoint Level 2 charger and will tell us the exact amount used during your stay.

During fire restrictions the grill and fire pit will be out of service. Smoking is never allowed in the cabin and is only allowed in your enclosed vehicle.

This is the mountains, weather is unpredictable, come prepared. We do not offer refunds for mountain weather. While we try our best to keep the driveway clear after a snow storm, four wheel or all wheel drive may be needed.

Nice 2 bed 2 bath cabin, beautiful views, sleeps 4, plus recliner, reclining sofa, toddler cot, & infant pack n play. Cabin is located in a quiet subdivision 6 miles from the village of Cloudcroft. There is a large covered deck for grilling, eating, relaxing, watching elk, deer, birds & enjoying the gorgeous views! No steep driveways. The entire living area on second floor with an open floor plan for easy socializing. The kitchen is fully furnished. The bar has seating for 4 and the dinette seats 4. We have a toddler booster seat & step stool available for use. The living room has a recliner, reclining sofa, TV, internet, games & beautiful views through the large windows!
Cabin has new flooring and is newly painted. It is furnished well enough that you just need to bring food, clothes & personal items. The deck has a latch gate for children’s safety. The cabin sits on over an acre with lots of room for kids/adults to play any time of year. In the winter, guests can enjoy snow sleds & tubing on the property (not provided) or you are only 3 miles from Ski Cloudcroft for skiing or tubing. Tubes and saucers are available to rent or buy in the village.
