The drive way coming into the property could use some work, big pot hole as you are pulling in and the numbers on the cabin are hard to read, thank goodness they have a map on-line of where each cabin is. I've stayed at this property twice now in 2 different cabins, loved my stay both times. Stayed during the week and hardly anyone was there, so very quiet. Grocery store right across the street and downtown close enough to walk to. The wildlife is amazing, deer and elk frequent the property often and will walk almost right up on the porch. The staff is always friendly and easy to reach. "

- "Save yourself the headache and do not book this property through hotels.com. I booked this property for a family of 5 for Memorial weekend. One of the most busiest weekends in Ruidoso. This property was booked in advance because we knew there was limited amounts of properties available. Our check in date was Friday and checkout date Monday. I booked this property through Hotels.com and arrived on the property Friday. We unpacked all our belongings for the long weekend and stocked up on groceries for our 4 day stay. We had an early baseball game Saturday, had lunch at the property and showered to get ready for our day to discover things to do with our 3 kids for the day. As we were leaving the property another family arrived stating that they booked the same property and were checking in. It turns out the property is listed on multiple sites and Hotels.com did not communicate our booking with the property managers and double booked the property. Our family was forced to vacate the property immediately. After explaining our situation with customer service and the property manager they refused to accept our receipt and booked confirmation. We let the property manager know we will need time to pack all our belongings, groceries and sort out the housing issue for the rest of the weekend. The property manager arrived threatened to call the police when they actively saw us packing our belongings. With no where to stay it took 2+hrs for Hotels.com to find us a place to stay. "

You deserve a get away! We have a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin on 1.1 acres that is close to town, yet has that out of town feel. The cabin is 440 square feet and has all the amenities you need. Casey's is on Ruidoso's main street, one block from the river and steps away from the Village's best restaurants, shops and cafes. Our cozy, rustic cabins have been the “Heart of Midtown” since their construction in the 1940s. The cabins vary in size from single bedrooms to large cabins that accommodate up to ten, making Casey's the perfect spot for individuals, couples or large groups looking to rent multiple cabins together at one convenient site.

The space
The Quail cabin is simple and doesn't have a kitchen. It has a small bedroom and sitting area. In the sitting area, there's a futon couch (which will soon be replaced by a leather couch), along with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It's our most spacious budget option for two people. You can connect The Quail cabin to the Sparrow cabin through the living area, so contact us directly if you want to book both rooms together. This is a modest room meant for budget travelers who want to enjoy our great location. If you want more amenities or a nicer space, check out our other options at slightly higher prices. Also, note that The Quail is located at the corner of Sudderth and Grindstone Lake Road, so you might hear some traffic noise. You'll have the whole cabin to yourself, and there's a shared yard where you can watch the seasonal parades on Sudderth Street.
