One morning while drinking coffee on the balcony, some deer came right up. The house had several books and games for entertainment. The area is very quiet. Cons… There is no air conditioning. The listing for the house did not explicitly say that there was no AC. It was only explicitly stated after you booked the house. The listing says 3 bathrooms but one of the bathrooms does not have a shower head in it. That means you can only take a bath. It is one of the “master” bedrooms upstairs. The house was well loved but clean for the most part. The previous people who stayed left a used towel in the bathroom and whoever cleaned didn’t see it. I didn’t appreciate having to move someone’s used towel. You are supposed to put all towels in the downstairs bathroom before you checkout but I feel whoever cleaned should have noticed the towel hanging on the door. The downstairs bedroom didn’t have a ceiling fan and was a bit hot in the early evening. The beds were okay but the pillows were mostly old and not comfortable anymore. You can tell that the owners really tried to make this house comfortable and accommodating. A few minor tweaks to the house’s amenities and an updated listing would make the house even better. The company that manages the listing was very prompt in replying to a question I had."

- "We absolutely loved everything about this cottage. We were given great directions and instructions to access the property and were even greeted by the dog on property when we drove up. Right from the start, we were amazed with views from the deck. When we entered the cottage, it was absolutely beautiful, cozy, and clean. We had access to everything we needed inside for the weekend, including a grill outside that we took full advantage of to make dinner. Later that evening, we were greeted by the on-site property owner who came by to introduce himself and make sure we didn't need anything else for our stay. He was extremely informative and gave us some ideas for some back road drives that we could take the next morning. Let me tell you if you love being away in the mountain with beautiful views this is the place for you. We loved it, and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you again for an amazing weekend."

Kick back and relax in this stylish 1961 two bedroom, one bathroom cottage. Our cute cottage has been restored with many cool updates including a farmhouse sink with black wood floors in the upper bedroom and kitchen. The bathroom has subway tile and a lot of wood accents. It has been updated with central air conditioning and heat. We also added a side deck with a private hot tub. The place is an amazing get away for an escape to Ruidoso. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Must be 25 years old to rent. No pets allowed.

We also couldn't find any instructions about what to do when leaving like what to do with towels or sheets. Eclectic, bijou style, bedrooms with their own private bathroom and separate outdoor entrance. Complimentary Breakfast served Thursday-Sunday. Close to Midtown and eats. Here in the mountains, window fans are best. If needed during a hot spell, portable air condition available. Please understand, love your fur babies. Unfortunately, some of my family members are allergic. If you insist, there will be a non-refundable cleaning fee of $1000.

Want to share my slice of Paradise! Cottage rooms are newly done and only accessible to guests. My rooms accommodate 2 guests comfortably. Plenty of parking spaces. Internet streaming, HDMI, movies...
There is no smoking and no pets allowed in rooms. There are designated smoking areas outside. If you need the iron, hair dryer, etc...Just ask me. Breakfast is served between 7am-9am. A menu will be provided upon check in. Please submit your selection from my menu before you retire in room. Unfortunately, if you check in after 9PM, there is no complimentary breakfast provided.
