Bathroom for the single room is across the hallway and might be shared if the place is full (had it to myself during my stay). Close to DUS airport (walk to terminal in 20-25 min possible with light luggage or 2-wheeled suitcase). Very clean, the house itself was quiet and no traffic noise (quiet side street). Rooms are above a pub so not sure if there would be some noise due to that on weekends. Situated below the approach path of the airport (or rather takeoff, during the prevailing westerly winds) there is noise due to jets taking off, but the window is soundproof enough to block most of the noise, and there are no takeoffs between 22 and 6:00. The cozy 2 room apartment is on the 1st Floor of our family home.
It was recently completely renovated and, with a few exceptions, was newly furnished.
All windows have electric shutters, so a healthy sleep is guaranteed.
You enter the apartment via an elongated hallway from which you can reach all rooms.
To the right of the hallway you come into the large, cozy bedroom, which is equipped with a wide box spring bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. Opposite is the spacious bathroom, which leaves nothing to be desired.
It is equipped with a washstand, a toilet and additional bidet, an oversized floor-to-ceiling shower and a bathtub. Behind the bathroom door there is an additional narrow wall cabinet with fresh towels, hair dryer and cleaning agents.
In the hall area there is a small cloakroom niche and a small guest toilet.
So the morning queue in front of the bathroom is no longer an issue.
You reach the living room to the left of the hallway.
The beautiful bright dining table offers 4 people plenty of space to eat and can be easily pulled out to give at least 2 other people a seat.
The small, manageable kitchenette is integrated in the dining area and has a coffee machine, toaster, microwave, oven, stove and other kitchen utensils. If anything should be missing, we are available to you as a landlord at any time and are happy to help.
As an additional highlight, the apartment offers a large roof terrace with a beautiful view of the garden.

Enjoy your piece of cake or your glass of red wine on the sunny terrace when the weather is nice and let the day end there.
