- "We enjoyed our stay at Norma's place. The place was spacious and had more than enough accommodations for 6 adults. The neighborhood was peaceful throughout our stay. The pool was SUPER nice to have, especially since we were going through a heat wave. There were restaurants and a National Reserve very close by that we also enjoyed. We took time to visit a coffee plantation, Hacienda Muñoz, that was about 35 minutes away. It was a very beautiful and interesting place. GETTING HERE
From the San Juan Airport, you can rent a car or take a shuttle van approximately one hour to Palmas del Mar. While you're here, golf carts are the popular mode of transport, and can be rented when you arrive.

Get a golf cart and cruise around to different restaurants etc. Post hurricane, the casino is still not open, horseback riding is not available, the little wine cellar is closed and there are a number of restaurants that are also not open. If we had known this in advance we would probably have picked a different location on the island. That being said, the unit itself is wonderful and very comfortable for 7-8 people."
