The 2700+ sq ft cabin has a large sunroom with scenic views of the grounds and channel, 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, full laundry with no water restrictions and enough room for 18 to eat, sleep, play and relax.

As you approach the property you start to understand how connected with nature it truly is. From the amazing shoreline to the orchard around the original farmhouse, this is truly a nature lovers paradise.

Upon entering the cabin, you are greeted by a massive mudroom. This is a great launch pad for all of those outdoor activities and adventures. After the mudroom you will find a large kitchen with beautiful, vaulted wood ceilings for that rustic, but not too rustic feeling. Off of the kitchen the main floor also boasts 2 bedrooms, full bathroom and laundry. The log walls / ceiling in the main rooms are accented by an amazing classic fireplace for a warm and cozy atmosphere. Once you exit the sitting room to the front veranda you really get to see this amazing property with great views of the grounds and waterfront. The basement is spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have waterfront view, a rec room, full bathroom, and entry / exit to the yard/patio and channel.

The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'll need for your stay from pots and pans to coffee/pods and sugar, even some spices in the cupboard. 2 full size fridges and a roughly 2cuft freezer. The hot tub was hot and had proper chemicals in it, didn't stink or shut down during our stay. Huge dock you can hang out on or dangle your feet in the water. The check-in and check-out process is simple and straightforward. I don't have a single bad thing to say, everything was PERFECT. I hope to return in the (near) future!"

Inside the cabin you will find a nicely updated space with lots of bright windows and a true earthy, airy feel. Starting with the cute entrance sunroom area is a 4 place setting table for evening relaxation to a game of cards or a glass of wine. Enter the open concept living area with full kitchen complete with island and most common cooking fixings. A dining area for 6, spacious living room with 55" smart TV, super comfy couch arrangements, and a woodstove if your stay happens to be in winter. Extended outside the living room is a master bedroom with queen bed, and half bath ensuite closet combination. Down the hall you have a generous sized main bath with glass/tile shower. Two more bedrooms complete your journey at the end of the hall with a queen bed on one side, and a loft bed with double underneath in the other. Playpen and crib can be made available. Cabin is complete with limited data Wifi Internet.

In the area you will find a close by store (Tall Timber Lodge) with full selection of beer, wine, or spirits as well as necessities for food or consumables. Also located is a 5000' private airstrip. If you are planning to fly-in, please call the private airstrip owner to gain authorization use.

Within a short drive you can find hiking trails, biking trails, white water rapids, the Old Pinawa Dam, a large suspending bridge trail and endless nature to explore. Lac Du Bonnet is only a 20 minute drive up the road.

WINTER: At the heart of snowmobiling in Manitoba! Right off the main trails that connect you to every other trail in Manitoba! A snowmobilers paradise, recommend a 1 week minimum stay to take in all that snowmobiling has to offer out here!

SUMMER: Boating, fishing, swimming, tanning, hiking, biking, the opportunities are endless as you enjoy the friendly waters of the Winnipeg river system. Being between two controlled flow hydro electric generating stations, the water level is always consistent.

The space:

Our new open concept cabin is 1508 sq ft featuring a huge, custom gourmet kitchen and coffee/bar station as the star of the show! It’s perfect for morning coffees, happy hours and night caps. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to entertain your guests. Belly up to the quartz bar for a drink or enjoy a lake nap on our custom designed, gel insert, extra deep seating sectional. Our huge front windows overlook the Creek and there is so much wildlife to hear and see! The deck is huge and is calling your name! It wraps around the majority of the cabin to the back door entrance and is equipped with outdoor patio furniture and fire table, outdoor dining table and chairs, swing and nest chair to enjoy the beautiful lake views and summer sunsets.

We have 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 beautiful bathrooms and a laundry/Mudroom. The primary bedroom has private doors to the deck, a walk-in closet and 3 pc ensuite with tile in-floor heat and a gorgeous tile shower with high end plumbing fixtures, a wall hung toilet and a quartz, dual vanity sinks

We are situated on 1 acre of grass and trees so there is ample room to play volleyball, badminton, lawn games (supplied for our guests) or just sit around and enjoy nature on this very quiet street. We have 2 brand new smart flat screen TV’s so you can cozy up and catch a movie or show. There’s also lots of games for indoor playing located in the lower bar cabinets.

The landscaping and fire pit area is ready for your enjoyment! Pull out the s’mores and beverages and enjoy the great outdoors! We cannot guarantee propane tanks will be full for each guest rental however, if you have to fill them, please save receipts and send to us for reimbursement.

Feeling adventurous and looking for something new to do? Head on down to our brand new dock and drop a fishing line in the water, or jump in one of our kayaks and explore the creek or lake (2 min paddle into the open lake water). Our dock is great for water sports but not recommended for swimming off the dock.

Beach bums! There are 3 public beaches within a 10 min drive. One is in the town of Lac Du Bonnet, and one is at the end of Wendigo Rd. Another great beach is in the town of Pinawa! Don’t forget to check out Hoopla Island!

Are you a golfer? Head out to Black Bear, or the famous Granite Hills or Pinawa golf courses - all close and nearby!

Tubing! Another fun adventure is heading out to the Pinawa Channel to do some lazy river tubing (so fun!) Pack your cooler and stay for the day!

If hiking is your thing, then you must visit the famous Pinawa Provincial Park and old Pinawa damn. Set out on hikes or explore the town of Pinawa and grab a bite to eat at one of their local restaurants or treat yourself to some ice cream.

Feeling hungry and need to grab some food?? Need to pick up some groceries to make dinner? The town of Lac du Bonnet is only 10 Mins from the cabin and has a few great grocery stores to check out! Don’t feel like cooking? There are a few restaurants and bars in town (Santa Lucia, Ice Cream Baller, Grans Bakery, Chicken Chef, Hotel, Subway, Chinese etc) where you can pick up some take-out or head out for dinner and let someone else cook for you! There's also a cute little Ice Cream Stop and a local coffee and sandwich shop, and the best fresh cinnamon buns and treats can be found at Grans bakery in town. There’s a Rona, Home Hardware, Dollar Store, bank, liquor store, and many other great local stores for your convenience. Shop and support local!

We wanted to ensure we could offer you a different, modern experience to make your vacation easy, exciting and comfortable leaving you with long lasting memories! We are truly honored you chose to book your experience with us but please no partying/no hosting events or large groups or exceeding more than 8 people on the property at any given time. Please respect our neighbors and stay off the neighboring properties at all times including the shoreline.

Please note: nest door bell camera at main entrance. Upon guest checkout, you will be required to take all your garbage with you from your stay. We do not have trash pick up services through the RM. There is a dump nearby, if required ($). Please bring your own firewood as we do not supply firewood for guests and any firewood onsite is not intended for guest use. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Close to hiking trails and water tube parks, Old Pinawa Dam, and a large suspension bridge trail. Also between two great golf courses Granite Hills & Pinawa.Great trails for snowmobiles in the winter. There is an ice rink with lights and a warm up shack with a wood stove as conditions permit. There are also some walking trails on the river as well as cross country ski trails in the area.
Main cottage on property is located below guesthouse. Water access is a short fairly steep walk down the hill past the main cottage. Not recommended for the elderly or those with difficulty walking. There is a dock available with all water recreation amenities located nearby at the water’s edge. There is great fishing off the dock in June!
Tall Timber is not far with full selection of beer, wine, or spirits as well as limited food and snacks, as well as bait for fishing.

Escape to our 1100 square foot, two storey, year round waterfront home!

**We now have high speed internet** (installed May 2023).

As you enter the home from the back deck, you will find a spacious mudroom. The back deck has a couple of chairs and a bbq. On the main floor, you will find a 3 piece bathroom (stand up shower, toilet & sink), the washer & dryer are located in this bathroom as well. The washing machine is pre-loaded with detergent for your convenience. Next you will see the fully appointed kitchen, with a dining table looking out to the lakefront view. There is a Keurig coffee machine, with basic coffee & tea pods provided. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room, which has two cozy couches and smart tv. The front deck is the best place to enjoy! Please enjoy the fire pit in the front yard as you watch the sunset over the water. This is a year round home with central air conditioning and an electric furnace.

Upstairs there is a spacious and inviting loft with another smart tv. The grey sofa converts into a small sofa bed for a guest or child. Linen & extra pillows are provided. The loft area leads to the master bedroom and upstairs bathroom. In the bathroom you will find a lovely soaker tub, toilet and sink. The windows in the master bedroom & the balcony that leads off the room offer the best views! In this room there is a king size bed.

Please note; there is a steep drop off when approaching the water. There is no fence or barricade. There is a path that leads down to the beach in front of our home - it is down the road. Exiting on to Grand Marais blvd, take a right and at the intersection of Grand Marais blvd & Oak ave, the path will be on your right.

We are on the Snoman trail, you can park your sleds in the backyard, get to the winnipeg river in less than 2 minutes. Our Cedar wood burning sauna,hot tub facing the winnipeg river ,outdoor BBQ & Griddle,Propane Fire bowl make our cabin a summer or winter oasis! Our cabin has lot’s of Atv trails in close proximity,in pristine fishing territory,and very close to granite hills and pinawa golf course for golf enthusiasts!!

Don’t forget all bedrooms have a view to the water and 1.4 acres of lush green gardens surrounded by beautifully aged trees and your own private dock!!

You have access to brand new dock for pop yourself and don’t forget a sea-doo ramp!!

Provided are full linens and towels, beds are made up and ready to go, in European style. Just drop your bags and start relaxing! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in bathroom are always stocked up.

The clean, bright kitchen has stainless steal appliances and boasts a coffee bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basic cooking utensils and dishes you need. The dining table comfortably seats 8 with additional seating for 3 at the kitchen island. Enjoy the electric fireplace on a chilly evening or watch your favorite movie on a rainy day on the 55" smart tv. Basic amenities are provided as well as all bedding, pillows and bed linens. The cottage also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The Cottage can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. The master bedroom features a queen size bed. There are two bedrooms that each have a twin-over-double bunk bed. A fourth bedroom with a queen bed completes the sleeping quarters.

You have the whole Cottage for your use except the hall closet.

Other things to note:
Guests are responsible for bringing their garbage away. There is a landfill close by where you can drop your garbage off. The landfill charges a fee for any garbage left there. This fee is usually $4 per bag.

The camper has a large shower with a Skylight, the bedroom is very spacious with lots of wardrobe space for all the overpackers! The kitchen has a very clean and bright style making it super cozy and homey.
There is also a large pass-through cubby to store all of your sporting goods!
The table has been replaced with a futon, we are currently getting it ready for the new season so the pictures haven't been updated quite yet.

With three bedrooms on the main floor the primary in addition to the full bathroom also has a walk-in closet. All three bedrooms have new king size beds and custom blackout window coverings.

There is a reverse osmosis water system that provides drinking water. Please note, the water supply is limited and we suggest that guests supplement the drinking water provided if you are a group that drinks lots of water.

Our basement is partially finished, some of the floors are plywood and the ceilings are not finished so some noise and lights may get into the bedrooms. The furnace is in the open area in the basement.

Our new open concept cabin is 1508 sq ft featuring a huge, custom gourmet kitchen and coffee/bar station as the star of the show! It’s perfect for morning coffees, happy hours and night caps. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to entertain your guests. Belly up to the bar for a drink or enjoy a lake nap on our custom designed, extra deep seating sectional. Our huge front windows overlook the Creek side, and there is so much wildlife to hear and see! The deck is huge and is calling your name! It wraps around the majority of the cabin to the back door entrance and is equipped with sauna, outdoor patio furniture and fire table, outdoor dining table and chairs and beautiful sunsets.

We have 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 beautiful bathrooms and a laundry/mudroom. The primary bedroom has private doors to the outdoor deck and sauna, a walk-in closet, and 3 pc ensuite with tile floors, in-floor heat, a gorgeous tile shower with high end plumbing fixtures, a wall hung toilet and a quartz, dual vanity sink.

We are situated on an acre of grass & some trees so there is ample room to play volleyball, badminton, lawn games (supplied for our guests) or just sit around and enjoy nature on this very quiet street. Kick back at night and enjoy some s’mores and beverages down at the fire pit or on the deck at try fire table. If cozy nights indoors is more your thing, we have 2 brand new smart TV’s so you can cozy up and catch a movie or show. We have really fast HD plus wi-fi for your stay! We also have a karaoke system for your enjoyment.

Feeling adventurous and looking for something new to do? Head on down to our dock and drop a fishing line in the water, or jump in one of our 4 kayaks and explore the creek or lake (2 min paddle into the open lake water). Please bring your own life jackets for kayak/water sports usage to properly fit you for your safety. Please bring your beach towels. We don't supply beach towels.

The property is perfect for water access for all your motorized or non-motorized water toys! Please note: Swimming off the dock is not available due to weeds and creek is shallow.

Beach bums! There are 3 public beaches within a 10-20 min drive. The beach located in the town of Lac Du Bonnet (10 mins) is a big one! There is also a play structure for kids, pier for jumping into the the lake and basketball court steps away. There is another great beach in the town of Pinawa (25 mins away) - don’t forget to take the kids to Hoopla Island while visiting Pinawa! The other cute small, sandy beach is at the end of Wendigo Rd (5-10 min drive away).

Who loves Tubing?? Another fun adventure is heading out to the Pinawa Channel to do some lazy river tubing (so fun!) Pack your cooler and stay for the day! Tubing rentals are available (contact Float and Paddle) or bring your own tubes!

If hiking is your thing, then you must visit the area - there's Blueberry Trail 10 mins away, or the famous Pinawa Provincial Park and old Pinawa damn is a real attraction. Set out on hikes (check maps for various hike locations), contact our friends at Hike Manitoba or explore the town of Pinawa and grab a bite to eat at one of their local restaurants or treat yourself to some ice cream.

With Fall and Winter around the corner, our property is perfect for those who love for fishing, quads and snowmobiling! We have lots of space on the property for your snowmobiles and the beautiful, groomed trails are just steps away from our place.

Want to enjoy some good food? Need to pick up some groceries to make dinner? The town of Lac du Bonnet is only 10 Mins from the cabin and has a few great grocery stores to check out! Don’t feel like cooking? There are a few restaurants and bars in town where you can pick up some take-out, or head out for dinner and let someone else do the cooking for you! There's also a cute little local coffee and sandwich shop and bakery in town with the best cinnamon bun and some retail such as; a Rona, Home Hardware, Dollar Store, a bank, liquor store, beer vendors, gas stations, ice cream stand (Ice Cream Baller) and a place for take out pizza - now open! There are many great local stores for your convenience. Shop and support local!

If you have a boat, the boat launch is 5 mins from our property by vehicle or water and you can bring your boat and park/moor it at our dock during your stay. Please let us know if you are planning to bring any watercraft or ATV’s before your arrival.

Facilities at the pinawa provincial park include a picnic area, a boat launch and a non-modern washroom. The boat launch offers the only access point for boaters and anglers to enter the Winnipeg River between the Seven Sisters Generating Station and Lac du Bonnet. Anglers in the park have a chance of catching a variety of fish, including walleye, northern pike, goldeye, yellow perch, bass and lake sturgeon. Lake sturgeon are an endangered species and special fishing regulations protect them for future generations.

We have two properties located right next to each other, separated by our private boat launch. If you’re planning a group getaway, we can accommodate up to 30 guests between both cabins.

(Please note: Only 4 adults are allowed in the hot tub at any given time.)
