- "Cute old place spruced up just right for visitors. Everything we needed was right there including a sweet location perfect for an early morning or evening walk. We had a small issue getting the TV/DVD player going but our host was on it like a shot! All communication with him was fast and easy. My friends only had one complaint and that was the not terribly comfortable double mattress placed on a queen frame. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will return next time we want to spend a few nights in that neck of the woods."

Welcome to Blue Jay Hideaway. We are located just outside Manitoba's first National Park. The town of Wasagaming is about a 15 minute walk away. For your convenience, we have a binder at the cottage with information on the park and local amenities.

Our cabin is equipped with not only an indoor kitchen, but also an outdoor cook shack complete with a wood burning stove and sink.

Your kids will be easily entertained with the playground and basketball court right across the street. You can relax or cook dinner while they are enjoying themselves within eyesight.

We have WIFI available for all guests. Our TV is equipped with a Roku so you can sign into your Netflix or Disney accounts at your leisure. Please ensure you logout of your accounts at departure. We cannot be held responsible for future guests viewing on your account if you forget to sign out. We also have a DVD player with an assortment of DVD's for you to choose some if you would rather.

Our 31ft camper is located 4 miles (7.5km) west of Onanole, on the road to Lake Audy (PR #354) on private Bottle Lake.

We are about a 10 minute drive to Wasagaming and about 5 minutes to Frith beach.

There is one bedroom with a queen bed.
There is a double hideabed couch in the living area. The table also converts into a single bed.

Bathroom has toilet, sink, and shower.

Running hot and cold water, electricity, heat and a/c.

Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc and has a fridge, stovetop and microwave.

There is also a BBQ, propane, picnic table, chairs, fire pit, hot dog sticks and firewood.

No smoking/ vaping inside the camper.

Guests will be provided with bed linens and bath towels but please bring your own beach towels.

We have 7km of walking trails on site.

Kayaks, paddle board, canoe and peddle boat available for rent.

Our lake is shallow for a long way out, so it’s not the best for swimming. And our lake doesn’t have any fish, but there are many lakes within a 20 minute drive that are good fishing. Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction!

Guided fishing by boat is also available. If you’re interested please inquire prior to arrival.

There is no wifi or TV but we do have plenty of sights and sounds of nature! And we do get cell service!

There are two bedrooms in this apartment, one with a lovely queen bed and the other with a double bed. Among the features to enjoy in this apartment are a large kitchen, a private balcony, and a full bathroom. Small families or work groups of no more than four persons would be quite welcome to stay with us. There is a parking lot in the building.

- "We thought we had booked an entire home as that is what the ad stated right under the photo of the home entrance on VRBO. However it was only 2 bedrooms and a bathroom which were clean. We determined that the house was NOT in the area the map showed it in, nor were certain amenties there when we arrived such as plates, cutlery, coffee cups etc. These were delivered later. Access to the two bedrooms at the top of the stairs was open to anyone in the suite below as there was no way to secure our space. We could lock the door to our bedroom while sleeping however, were unable to secure our belongings as there was no key to unlock the bedrooms if we locked them and left. When asked, the owner stated "I have no idea where the key is". We had plans for a coffee visit with friends that weekend at the house but had to make other arrangements as there was no house. We had no control of the heat and it was TOO HOT to sleep. VRBO advertises INCESSANTLY about their rentals being whole homes. This listing was advertised as ENTIRE HOME, and charged a whole home price per night. Other listings in Brandon that were just bedrooms were 70% less per night than this one. We left after the first night. ALWAYS confirm with the hosts EXACTLY what to expect and not to just believe what VRBO OR THE AD STATES. After contacting VRBO regarding the above we were told the ad was accurate, IT MOST SURELY WAS/IS NOT. If wanting only a bedroom/bath then this is for you."

The Lofts @ The Tribune Building is located in downtown Minnedosa across the street from the Co-op grocery store and is walking distance to many amenities as well as restaurants.

This historic building was home to the Minnedosa Tribune newspaper for many years, and he now been extensively renovated into apartments upstairs, with professional offices on the main.

This quiet building is a nice space to stay while visiting the area for work or play.

The space
The space is located on the second floor of the Tribune Building and is accessed by a stairway on the side of the building.

This building has been completely renovated in 2023, and we have tried to keep some of the original character such as doors and door handles

This space has two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room.

Bathroom has a tub and shower.

Laundry is located in the suite and includes a washer and dryer.

Kitchen is stocked, with cups, plates, utensils, dish soap, basic kitchen supplies, toaster and coffee maker.

The kitchen has a dishwasher.

All linens and towels are included in your stay but we do not provide mid stay cleaning.

Wifi is provided as well as a smart tv to access your Netflix or other streaming programs.

This is a quiet professional building that is non-smoking.

We recommend that our guests get to know our special town of Minnedosa and the surrounding valley area. There are many great restaurants and small businesses to visit. Guests can take advantage of the recreational opportunities, whether it be summer activities: at the beach, fishing and boating, or the many hiking trails and nature walks, golf and ball games…

or winter activities: skating, snowshoeing, cross-country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, or taking in the local hockey games.

And we are only 30 minutes away from Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park.
