As you approach the property you start to understand how connected with nature it truly is. From the amazing shoreline to the orchard around the original farmhouse, this is truly a nature lovers paradise.

Upon entering the cabin, you are greeted by a massive mudroom. This is a great launch pad for all of those outdoor activities and adventures. After the mudroom you will find a large kitchen with beautiful, vaulted wood ceilings for that rustic, but not too rustic feeling. Off of the kitchen the main floor also boasts 2 bedrooms, full bathroom and laundry. The log walls / ceiling in the main rooms are accented by an amazing classic fireplace for a warm and cozy atmosphere. Once you exit the sitting room to the front veranda you really get to see this amazing property with great views of the grounds and waterfront. The basement is spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have waterfront view, a rec room, full bathroom, and entry / exit to the yard/patio and channel.

The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'll need for your stay from pots and pans to coffee/pods and sugar, even some spices in the cupboard. 2 full size fridges and a roughly 2cuft freezer. The hot tub was hot and had proper chemicals in it, didn't stink or shut down during our stay. Huge dock you can hang out on or dangle your feet in the water. Inside the cabin you will find a nicely updated space with lots of bright windows and a true earthy, airy feel. Starting with the cute entrance sunroom area is a 4 place setting table for evening relaxation to a game of cards or a glass of wine. Enter the open concept living area with full kitchen complete with island and most common cooking fixings. A dining area for 6, spacious living room with 55" smart TV, super comfy couch arrangements, and a woodstove if your stay happens to be in winter. Extended outside the living room is a master bedroom with queen bed, and half bath ensuite closet combination. Down the hall you have a generous sized main bath with glass/tile shower. Two more bedrooms complete your journey at the end of the hall with a queen bed on one side, and a loft bed with double underneath in the other. Playpen and crib can be made available. Cabin is complete with limited data Wifi Internet.

In the area you will find a close by store (Tall Timber Lodge) with full selection of beer, wine, or spirits as well as necessities for food or consumables. Also located is a 5000' private airstrip. If you are planning to fly-in, please call the private airstrip owner to gain authorization use.

Within a short drive you can find hiking trails, biking trails, white water rapids, the Old Pinawa Dam, a large suspending bridge trail and endless nature to explore. Lac Du Bonnet is only a 20 minute drive up the road.

WINTER: At the heart of snowmobiling in Manitoba! Right off the main trails that connect you to every other trail in Manitoba! A snowmobilers paradise, recommend a 1 week minimum stay to take in all that snowmobiling has to offer out here!

SUMMER: Boating, fishing, swimming, tanning, hiking, biking, the opportunities are endless as you enjoy the friendly waters of the Winnipeg river system. Being between two controlled flow hydro electric generating stations, the water level is always consistent.

The space:

Our new open concept cabin is 1508 sq ft featuring a huge, custom gourmet kitchen and coffee/bar station as the star of the show! It’s perfect for morning coffees, happy hours and night caps. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to entertain your guests. Belly up to the quartz bar for a drink or enjoy a lake nap on our custom designed, gel insert, extra deep seating sectional. Our huge front windows overlook the Creek and there is so much wildlife to hear and see! The deck is huge and is calling your name! It wraps around the majority of the cabin to the back door entrance and is equipped with outdoor patio furniture and fire table, outdoor dining table and chairs, swing and nest chair to enjoy the beautiful lake views and summer sunsets.

We have 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 beautiful bathrooms and a laundry/Mudroom. The primary bedroom has private doors to the deck, a walk-in closet and 3 pc ensuite with tile in-floor heat and a gorgeous tile shower with high end plumbing fixtures, a wall hung toilet and a quartz, dual vanity sinks

We are situated on 1 acre of grass and trees so there is ample room to play volleyball, badminton, lawn games (supplied for our guests) or just sit around and enjoy nature on this very quiet street. We have 2 brand new smart flat screen TV’s so you can cozy up and catch a movie or show. There’s also lots of games for indoor playing located in the lower bar cabinets.

The landscaping and fire pit area is ready for your enjoyment! Pull out the s’mores and beverages and enjoy the great outdoors! We cannot guarantee propane tanks will be full for each guest rental however, if you have to fill them, please save receipts and send to us for reimbursement.

Feeling adventurous and looking for something new to do? Head on down to our brand new dock and drop a fishing line in the water, or jump in one of our kayaks and explore the creek or lake (2 min paddle into the open lake water). Our dock is great for water sports but not recommended for swimming off the dock.

Beach bums! There are 3 public beaches within a 10 min drive. One is in the town of Lac Du Bonnet, and one is at the end of Wendigo Rd. Another great beach is in the town of Pinawa! Don’t forget to check out Hoopla Island!

Are you a golfer? Head out to Black Bear, or the famous Granite Hills or Pinawa golf courses - all close and nearby!

Tubing! Another fun adventure is heading out to the Pinawa Channel to do some lazy river tubing (so fun!) Pack your cooler and stay for the day!

If hiking is your thing, then you must visit the famous Pinawa Provincial Park and old Pinawa damn. Set out on hikes or explore the town of Pinawa and grab a bite to eat at one of their local restaurants or treat yourself to some ice cream.

Feeling hungry and need to grab some food?? Need to pick up some groceries to make dinner? The town of Lac du Bonnet is only 10 Mins from the cabin and has a few great grocery stores to check out! Don’t feel like cooking? There are a few restaurants and bars in town (Santa Lucia, Ice Cream Baller, Grans Bakery, Chicken Chef, Hotel, Subway, Chinese etc) where you can pick up some take-out or head out for dinner and let someone else cook for you! There's also a cute little Ice Cream Stop and a local coffee and sandwich shop, and the best fresh cinnamon buns and treats can be found at Grans bakery in town. There’s a Rona, Home Hardware, Dollar Store, bank, liquor store, and many other great local stores for your convenience. Shop and support local!

We are truly honored you chose to book your experience with us but please no partying/no hosting events or large groups or exceeding more than 8 people on the property at any given time. Please respect our neighbors and stay off the neighboring properties at all times including the shoreline.

Please note: nest door bell camera at main entrance. Upon guest checkout, you will be required to take all your garbage with you from your stay. We do not have trash pick up services through the RM. There is a dump nearby, if required ($). Please bring your own firewood as we do not supply firewood for guests and any firewood onsite is not intended for guest use. The open concept makes it easy to be with your company and not miss a thing. The sunroom is a great space to set up a cot for extra guests. Bathroom has a jetted tub with shower. Picnic table in the dinning for fun eats, Outside you enjoy the fire pit in the large yard great for games. Lots of spots to relax or play. Great place to explore.

Take the nature path to the private dock, spend the day at the community beach, or snowmobile and ice fish the winter away.
