Enjoy your vacation in our romantic holiday home EWALD in the town of Norden-Norddeich, East Frisia, in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The German Tourism Association has awarded the holiday home four stars. The 2018 renovation of the house is not yet considered in this assessment.

The holiday house EWALD with approx. 80 sqm living space is ideal for an unforgettable family vacation or a vacation for two. The house comprises a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate sauna area with toilet, sink and walk-in shower, two hallways and a large utility room. In the living room you experience the special flair of a log house. The wooden floor, the wood-clad walls and the open view to the gable of the house radiate pure cosiness. The kitchen is modern and equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove, oven, coffee machine and coffee pad machine. The spacious large bedroom contains a double bed, two chairs, a table, a large wardrobe and a TV. The smaller bedroom has two separate beds, a wardrobe and a dressing table. The beds are already made upon arrival. In the utility room there is a washing machine and dryer that can be used without an additional fee. The WLAN Internet connection available in the house is also free of charge. A cot and high chair are available for small children.

From the living room and from the large terrace running along the outside of the living room you have a wonderful view of the more than 700 sqm natural garden. The city of Norden and the directly adjacent very well-known North Sea resort Norddeich are located in the northwestern East Frisia, directly in the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea National Park.
The pretty town of Norden (by the way, it is the oldest city in East Frisia) can offer a small but fine pedestrian zone, a very nice marketplace with weekly market, a tea museum, small outdoor swimming pool and many cafes, tea rooms, (fish)restaurants, pubs and beer bars.
Large vacation and leisure activities in the neighboring North Dyke: from there daily ferry over to the island of Norderney with its fantastic sandy beaches). On site: small sandy beach on the Wadden Sea with beach chair rental, dog beach, windsurfing, yacht/fishing harbor with fresh fish sale, large fun pool (Ocean Wave) with sea water pool (including wave pool), outdoor swimming pool, river slide, sauna landscape worth seeing, solariums, bowling. Further in the village: tennis courts, indoor playground, mini-golf, horse riding, seal station, bike rental, mudflat hikes.

Good starting point for numerous excursions (also by bike, as it is very good network of bicycles), including along the dikes to the pretty fishing villages of Neßmersiel, Dornumersiel, Bensersiel or Greetsiel), to the cities of Aurich worth seeing (25 km), Emden (30 km) or to Papenburg for a visit to the world-famous Meyerwerft (construction of large cruise ships with sightseeing).

This place to stay is truly one of a kind. Our private room can be booked as a double room or as a single room, with a private bathroom, but without breakfast. It is located on the first floor. Free Wi-Fi and TV are provided. Our private house is in a quiet cul-de-sac location. The beach can be reached on foot in 7 minutes.

The APARTMENT is about 50 square meters and has its own parking space, it is located on the ground floor of a four-storey apartment complex in a direct location of Norddeich. A balcony is provided. You can enjoy a great view of the dike from the apartment, which is only 80 meters away. The beach is about 200 meters.
