Nice detached garden house. Cozy kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom. In the kitchen living room is a spacious sofa bed where 3 people can sit well. This sofa bed offers 2 people the possibility to use it as a bed. In addition, there is a separate chair. A Samsung Smart TV is available with digital TV and basic Samsung internet functions.
In the bedroom there are two single beds that can be placed against each other or separately.
In the bathroom a toilet is a sink and a rain shower.

The front of the living room has a sliding window which you can easily open in good weather giving an extra access to the shared garden.

In the garden is an outdoor kitchen, a seat and plenty of space. There are also facilities in the garden for children such as a sandpit, trampoline, slide and playhouse. Cooler evenings are also available outside of an electric heating element.

Centrally located, queer-friendly accommodation in a quiet neighborhood, free parking, by public transport: good connections to Hoofddorp city center, Schiphol, Haarlem and Amsterdam. Near 2 beautiful places for recreation, small shopping center within walking distance.
Private access to the house with lock on the (both) doors. Workplace with fixed internet, possibly extra screen and printer available. Shared bathroom and kitchen with host, no other guests.

The space
I have completely renovated an ex-senior home in my own style and rent out the extra bedroom on the ground floor. This room has its own door through the backyard and is located on the same floor as your kitchen and bathroom. Use of the kitchen is possible in consultation, I will use the bathroom a maximum of 1x per day (I adapt to your schedule), as my bedroom has its own toilet.

Free parking in front of the door, always plenty of space. Close to various bus connections, small shopping center for groceries (including snack bar and NY pizza) within walking distance.

I am a queer-friendly host, I am open and honest, I like clear communication. I will welcome you during your stay and show you around the area and help you on your way with public transportation, and I am full of tips with sights and hiking trails. I am open for a chat and am interested in you, and I like to have conversations about travel experiences.
Feel free to borrow a board game or book from the cupboard, I have many English and Dutch books.
Luggage storage is possible in consultation on the day of arrival or departure.

Mandatory to mention for Airbnb: Energy label C (summer 2021 for renovation), since then solar panels and triple glazing with plastic frames placed on top (in case of leaky frame). Downstairs, double glazing everywhere, and the entire house is well insulated. Floor heating available, please indicate what you like!

The house is non-smoking, and I like to keep it that way. If you really can't do without, there is an ashtray in the garden. I have a strict no-drugs policy: no drug use during your entire stay at my home, no marijuana or other soft drugs.
Should I notice drug use, you are not welcome at that time and you may book a hotel nearby to sleep off your intoxication. If you are sober, you may possibly complete your stay drug-free.

There is also a mini-fridge in the bedroom so you can store your food.

The toilet is on the 1st floor and it's shared with us (2 adults).

The house is very big and you can make use of the kitchen, living room and terrace, all on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped: a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, oven, etc.

We speak English, Dutch, and Portuguese. We understand a tiny bit of Spanish.

We are well-traveled, we took a year to travel the world and we would be happy to hear all about your stories. If you don't want to chat, that's ok as well!

We are very friendly and we appreciate like-minded people.

You can always count on us to give you tips on what to do.

We can pick you up for free from Hoofdorp train station on the first day.

For other trips within Hoofddorp, we can give you a ride for 5eur.
To drive you back to Schiphol Airport it's 10eur.

If you need anything at all, you can always ask and we will do our best to help.

Other things to note
Our baby sleeps through the night (9 pm to 7 am), he is very quiet and shy, so you won't be disturbed by him.

We have 2 beautiful sweet cats. They are lovely and friendly but please don't book with us in case you are allergic.

The bedroom door can be closed but not locked. There is no lock on the door. Only the shared toilets have a lock. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Around the corner is the Toolenburger Plas, great for swimming and sunbathing. There is also a beach. Amsterdam and Haarlem are easily accessible by public transport or Haarlem even by bicycle. The beach town Zandvoort is also within 45 minutes by bike or 30 by car.

Brand new fully equipped apartment with everything you need for longer stays. You have a full kitchen including dishwasher, workplace and lounge area. It has a airco and a comfortable double bed.

Our house is conveniently located. You can get to the center of Amsterdam in approx 45 minutes by bus/train. Trains to Amsterdam run 6-8 times per hour and take about 25 mins. We live relatively close to our local town center. A bus takes you to Haarlem in 20-30 mins. The beach is 25 mins by car.
We are close to a recreational area with a small lake perfect for swimming in summer, has several playgrounds and a nice restaurant for drinks or lunch/dinner. *Please note that we leave our cats home*

Our house is perfect for families. We live in a residential area, and unfortunately can't accept groups of young people.

We have two cats that we leave at home. They go in and out of the house as they please. They are very low-maintenance, but if feeding them and keeping an eye out is an issue for you, our house may not be the best option for you.

In this centrally located new accommodation close to the forest and shops, everything for your family is within reach.

Villavento is an accommodation for up to 2 people and is located on the first floor of the building behind our house. It features free private parking and has a living room, kitchen, bedroom (with double bed 180x210cm) and bathroom. The house has been recently renovated.

The house is less suitable for disabled people because the apartment is located on the first floor.

The space
The kitchen contains a gas stove with oven, fridge with freezer, N'espresso machine and kettle. Of course, the kitchen has all the essentials to prepare a meal. The bathroom has a shower, sink and a toilet. There are a dining table and seating area. Bed linen, kitchen linen and bath towels are provided to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Free wifi is available.

Villavento is located in a residential area with a supermarket 300 m away. Restaurants, shops and a large cinema are in walking distance. Every Friday there is a market in the center. 

Zandvoort can be reached by car, public transport or an hour by bike. The Haarlemmermeerse forest is 10 minutes away by bike or half an hour by foot. By car or public transport, you can be in Amsterdam, Haarlem or Schiphol Airport in no time. The station is 2.5km away. Keukenhof and Cruquius museum can be reached by car within 15 minutes.
