- "Sept 2024 Our stay at Baz was brilliant. We called on arrival and were given a tour of the facilities and shown to our room. We stayed in the apartment on floor one, it was bigger than expected. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge diner had a sofabed too. 6 Adults could stay without issue. The kitchen was well equipped, all appliances available for cooking and cleaning, fridge with freezer compartment. A real home from home. Pool and Sauna available, kids toys for the little ones and plenty of parking on site. Good location for what we wanted, close to Gent and Antwerp and right on the Dutch border. Would stay again without hesitation."

- "This is not a hotel or guest house by any standard. This is an old hospital/medical facility that has been converted into bedrooms. Upon arrival, no one was present. We called the number on the door and some guy answered the phone, but when he let us in he basically said "I don't work here, my friend does!" and then left. 20 minutes later, a man comes in seemingly frustrated and quickly takes my ID and hands me a room key. We get up to the room and it's absurdly hot in there, with only 1 tiny window to open (no screen) to get some fresh air in. As I said already, it is literally an old doctors office or medical facility of some sort, as our "guest room" still had some doctor's name on the nameplate outside. That said, the room was clean and the beds were clean, but the shared shower was... well, not so nice. To be fair, you get what you pay for, and at $60/night I certainly wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I certainly wasn't expecting what we got. We really only needed a place to crash after a concert, so it did the trick, but it was certainly no "privilege" to stay there and I wouldn't return. "

Large garden available. one street opens onto river Schelde.a hiking junction one passes house. Beautiful park and castle d'ursel in walking distance.
Shops, bakery, butcher and supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Centrum Bornem at 6 km away with cultural center with numerous activities. have extra bike available.

Enjoy this charming private room with private ensuite-bathroom and terras. You'll be staying in a cosy sous-etage floor (-1), which has the advantage of staying cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Perfect for exploring Antwerp or the only-local-known Antwerp Berchem district. You can also use it as a homebase when working in the city.

The house is in the city center, so there isn’t always available parking in front of the house or nearby. It’s best to arrive with public transportation.

The guest room is in our home and it is the only other guest room that we rent out. The only people with access to the room are you (the guests) and us (the owners).

There is a self-check-in, so you can arrive whenever you want (after check-in time). You have access to your private room on your own floor, but the rest of the house is off-limits.

I prefer to give my guest their private space, but that doesn't mean I'm unavailable for questions or tips.

The ensuite-bathroom is half-open connecter to the bedroombof the guests. This means there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom.
