The location as its in the oldest part of the center brings its usual sounds of life around as it can be supprising quit because the city center is located at the other side of the church (beautiful music performances are given here as well). At the side of the roofterras there are located quit a few trees what brings you the sounds of various birds in the morning.
Be consciously that the sudio is located in an old building with mutiple users where you can hear eachother sometimes. We always try to be aware of eachother to enjoy this place together.

The appearance of the house dates from the late 18th century. And inside, older elements from the early period (1390) the house can be seen.

Gouda has a train station and is centrally located between The Hague, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft and Utrecht. The cities are recommended for a day trip and easy to reach by train. You can also get to Amsterdam quickly.

On the 17th of July 2016, we opened our Airbnb on an unique location in the city center of Gouda. The accommodation is a tiny little house with 2 rooms and a renovated bathroom and kitchen according to the most modern and comfortable standards. An intimate, very quiet apartment . There is no view from the room, only an upper window and -al it is in the middle of the city 5 minutes walk to market square with the many terraces- quite quiet and gives a sense of security. Everyone always sleeps very well.
There's a spacious private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. Kitchen to make coffee and tea, fridge and microwave. The adjacent painting and beetse atelier with library and the patio can also be used as a relaxation area and there can be a painting or billing workshop there upon request.

There is a painting studio with library and small outdoor space next to the apartment. On request, a painting or sculpting workshop can be given for a fee, and breakfast can be served.

Our back-yard has a great children-play-ground.
Fishing around our home is a favorite hobby of our son - so is skating. You'll find some of these elements 'hidden' in our garden.
Our backyard gives you a great place to enjoy the sun (when shining:) - and you're only 50 meters away of an amazing walk next to the river (active with many boats).
The dutch windmill, just 200 meters away from our home is still active and open for visitation when the windmill-man is active.
