Our historic property is a beautiful mini resort located between Custer, SD and Hill City, SD, just minutes away from Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park.
Mountain View Suite is the second floor unit featuring two spacious air conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy living room, and a dining room/kitchenette combo. We carefully renovated this 100 year old house with your family in mind. The unit is a perfect combination of the old world midwestern charm and modern conveniences.
One of the bedrooms (with a queen size bed and a pull-out sofa) leads to a Romeo and Juliette balcony; while the other one has access to a spacious back deck. Either is perfect for enjoying the views and animal visitors. Deer and chipmunks are plenty around our 16.25 acre property surrounded by the National Forest lands.
Our guests enjoy two completely private large bedrooms. First bedroom features a king size bed and an en-suite full bathroom with a tub and double vanity. Second bedroom is a very large space that fits a queen size bed, a full size sleeper sofa, a laptop friendly desk and still has plenty of room to spare.

Rustic home built in 1920 with a log "great room" added in the 1980's from local trees. The great room was recently remodeled in 2023. Property will sleep 9 (2 queen beds, 1 full, a twin trundle and a roll a way), has 2 bathrooms and plenty of room to relax.

The house has a stove and oven in it and there are plenty of options for cooking. The kitchen has a kitchen table, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, sink, and outside BBQ with a side burner. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, plates, pans and utensils for cooking if you want to cook in instead of eating out.

The unit has heat and window air conditioning units, free internet, and satellite TV. We provide bed linens, towels, and kitchen utensils.
