Lovely upstairs end unit with about 1100 sq-feet of space, light colored wood floors, attractive cabinetry, granite bar breakfast counters, travertine tile flooring in bathroom, freshly painted, California closet organizer in the all rooms, back patio overlooking the serene water fountain and green grass. Across the street we have the YMCA -gym, yoga classes etc- $80/month, Urgent Sansum clinic, Whole food supermarket with fresh buffets, coffee shops, tea houses, Janine's for breakfast, ice-cream parlor as Baskin-robbin, bicycle shop, gas stations etc.... The Green Room is 1 of 3 vacation rentals at the Whiskey Hotel. The other two are Blue Bungalue & Les Lemon Lodge.

The Green Room is located directly below Blue Bungalue, built in the 1950s. IF Blue Bungalue is reserved and occupied you may hear footsteps from above, thus we have jokingly provided commercial grade earplugs! Most guests are not bothered by this but if you are noise sensitive we also provide a cooling fan and a brand new 55" flat screen TV for music or movies.

Comfortable 1-person room in Casa Granadita, an official Santa Barbara Historic House, secluded yet near all the downtown enticements. Due to City law, I can only book for stays of 30 days or more. Kitchen privileges are provided with your own small refrigerator and storage space downstairs near the kitchen. Until COVID19 is far over, I prefer responsible guests who will take precautions when in public and who will work with me to keep us all safe.

The space
Charming private room with 1 extra-long twin bed, good mattress with foam topper. Fresh 300-count linens and thick 100% cotton towels are provided weeky. Share 2 bathrooms: the smaller one with the shower has been refreshed, the larger one with the tub is functional and clean but needs work. Price is discounted to reward your patience while I'm in the process of reclaiming the house and garden.

Stairs in the entry hall allow you privacy in your comings and goings if you prefer. Kick back in the Guest Lounge. Hang out at the dining room table. Sit and contemplate the green exuberance of the garden from the large patio. Use Wi-Fi throughout the common rooms and in your bedroom.(See note under Basics.) Access the office printer (by request). You are most welcome to share my little bit of paradise.

During your stay
You are guests in my home, welcomed to the house of my heart. You'll be given a key, and may come and go as you please. If you prefer privacy, you'll have it. I've traveled some and enjoy meeting people and getting to know them, but you set the tone. I rent 2 rooms through Airbnb. Before COVID19 I had a busy, varied life and might not always have been at home. I frequently ushered at local performances in the evening. Since COVID19, I'm here mostly. You'll always be able to call me on my mobile phone if I'm out and you need or want something. I'll do everything I can to make your visit a comfortable and happy one.

Other things to note
The prices for the room varies and may be displayed without the cleaning fee. AirBnB will present you with the appropriate average-per-night and the actual total for your request before you decide.

SMALL FORMALITIES The kind of guests I'd like in my house won't mind these small formalities:
- Security Deposit: I expect you to be the kind of people who get it all back.
- Picture ID as a part of the Registration process.
- Only registered guests or their registered invitees may be on premises.

CLEANING
The clean linens will be provided at the beginning of each 7-day period. You may borrow the vacuum if you care to. Incoming guests will find fresh linen and towels, and a clean, carefully sanitized room.

KITCHEN PRIVILEGES
Kitchen privileges come with rules based on common sense and past experience in sharing. I'll expect you to clean up after yourself and replace anything you break or damage. Please read the House Rules.

The space
Your bedroom is located on the second floor with locked access & private full bath. There are two other bedrooms that share an additional full bathroom on the second floor.

Downstairs is the common area - a large kitchen/dining area, living room and bonus tv room. Slider door access leads to the patio and backyard. Outside are two seating areas, mature landscaping, and gated access to Beattie Park.

Parking is available on the street. This is a very quiet neighborhood - known as the south side of Lompoc.

There are three roommates who work full time within the space industry at Vandenberg. You may run into them during your stay & they will likely be happy to share info about the area and base! There is no smoking or shoes indoors.

Guests will have private access to the master bedroom with full bath & all common areas of the home.
