- "We had a great stay at Oderen. The house is perfectly clean and in perfect shape. The hosts are very friendly and even understood my poor French. The house itself is easy to find and sits above the village of Oderen. Your morning bread isn't too far away and the village has an excellent Auberge which we used both at lunchtime and at night. A really good Super U is in Fellering, which is less than a 10 min drive away. The hosts Jean-Paul and Josseline are lovely. They stay in the house next door but the design of the rental property provides separate space and privacy, with the advantage of having friendly and knowledgeable hosts next door. We are keen hikers and the property is right in the centre of countless stunning walks. That said, mountain and road cycling is popular in the area and the nearby lake attracted many kayaker and paddle boarders. Colmar and Eguisheim are 'must visit' places. We have been holidaying in France (using rental properties) for a long time and I can recommend this property and area wholeheartedly. 10/10."

Located in the Vosges Regional Park in the middle of nature, the cottage of the Anerie (35 m²) welcomes you at an altitude of 560 m in the Doller valley 10 minutes from Masevaux. With 5 lakes nearby, 10 farm inns and the ski resort of the Ballon d 'Alsace is an ideal base for hikes. Unusual with its shared dorm as in a refuge, plenty of space around with two terraces, a large balcony and proximity to animals: goat donkeys and chickens. We're waiting for you!

The space
In general opinion, we sleep very well at the cottage lulled by the singing of the torrent. Lounge chairs and a hammock await for a siesta. You can enjoy a table outside and a barbecue. The place is out of the way, quiet. The company of goats and chickens will delight young and old. The first lake is a 5 minute drive and the first farm hostel also accessible by car is less than a 1/4 hour away. A 15-minute drive the Lac d 'Alfeld awaits you for a family swim or for walkers the Lac des Perches a little higher offers a magnificent green setting in all seasons.
