Fully enclosed, nestled in lush greenery and sheltered from view, it offers an exceptional private space.
We backed a large wooden terrace and a south-facing pergola, which shelters a large table and sun loungers year-round.
An outside shower sheltered from view will refresh you between two sunbathing. The cabin at the bottom of the garden and its play area will delight children.
Also take advantage of the hammock under the trees to take a nap.
The owners' large shared swimming pool is located opposite the chalet. You just have to cross the street, the garden and climb the small staircase to access the swimming area. Another access is suitable for people with reduced mobility.

For a short or long stay, come and escape in this beautiful and spacious chalet of around 160m² completely renovated with taste and refinement. It is located on 16 ares of land allowing children to play and have fun in complete safety. The chalet is located outside the village on the edge of the road leading to the Petit Ballon as well as at the edge of the forest (at the foot of the Bickenberg hill), which allows you to take beautiful walks in nature. You will discover wild orchids from April to May.

The location is ideal for visiting this beautiful region. On one side, the tourist villages like Eguisheim at 15 minutes and the city of Colmar at only 20 minutes, without forgetting Kaysersberg, Riquewihr and Ribauvillé ... On the other side, the mountains, the Petit Ballon and its farm inns, the Grand Ballon and its lake.

To make your stay soft and relaxing, the cottage is equipped with all modern comforts (equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms with quality bedding, living room, bathroom, separate toilet ...).

New for 2019: provision of 2 hammocks for relaxing in the trees and a brazier for evenings around a fire.

The children enjoyed trips to the local Écomusée d'Alsace, Cité de l'Automobile in Mulhouse & Europa Park over the border in Germany. All in all a super holiday. Our cottage has a beautiful terrace of 40 m2 facing south and a garden that will make you enjoy the beautiful days conducive to barbecues and outdoor games.

After a first experience with the Chalet du Bickenberg, which we renovated and rented in late 2013, we are pleased to announce the commissioning, in July 2019, of our new Chalet du Silberrain.

We designed it for the art of living, conviviality and comfort of each, with noble materials combining old wood and natural stones.
But the chalet Silberrain is above all the culmination of a great human adventure with a totally passionate craftsman, Mr. Gilles Cozzi -C2Bât, who was able to breathe in this traditional architecture, the immutable soul of a cottage of yesteryear.
Generous volumes in a warm atmosphere, with large openings, welcome the light and offer a breathtaking view of the village below and the blue line of the Vosges.
Fully equipped to feel "at home", it welcomes you with family or friends (up to 14-16 people).
The cottage is located in a privileged natural setting, 5 minutes walk from wild orchids Bickenberg, it is 5 minutes walk from the village center and its bakery. Starting point for many hiking and biking, it is also close to the many tourist and cultural activities of the region: Eguisheim (20 minutes by car), Colmar (30 minutes), Riquewihr (40 minutes), Markstein ski resort (30 minutes) ...

The accommodation has 5 spacious bedrooms each with private bath / WC, one is wheelchair accessible, another can serve as a dormitory sleeps 5 for children or teenagers.

On the ground floor:
- the Lisbeth room contains a large double bed and a single bed in Alsatian alcove for a child or a baby. Its adjoining bathroom is accessible to people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
- The open living area is an invitation to conviviality and offers a breathtaking view. The large living room, the traditional fireplace, the fully equipped old wood kitchen and the large dining table, overlook a large wooden deck, facing South / Southeast, for outdoor dining, facing the village and the Grand Ballon of the Vosges.

On the upper floor, three bedrooms:

- The Marikel room offers the best views of the village and the mountains. It contains a large double bed and its bathroom, all in old exposed beams.
- The Margritt room is particularly spacious. It has a large double bed, a single bed behind its wooden screen, its en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and a separate toilet.

On the lower floor, the kingdom of young people and the relaxation area for adults, in an "old stable" atmosphere:
-The Seppl room is ideal for young people. It can accommodate up to five people or a couple only. With a large double bed, a single bed and two bunk beds, this room offers direct access to the lower terrace and the garden.

- the games area, dedicated to children and teens with its lounge / TV area, overlooks the lower terrace and the enclosed garden
