It is only 5 minutes’ walk to numerous shops, restaurants and public houses. There are good rail and bus links to Hull (City of Culture 2017), York and the Yorkshire coast. No car required!

Sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms with plenty of storage space. The sunny and spacious kitchen diner faces south with an enclosed pleasant garden area and patio with garden furniture. Lastly the location of the bungalow was very handy as we didn't have our own transport so it was 15minutes walking to and from our workplace, 10minutes walking to the train station and a large Tesco was right across the street. Old Masters Cottage is a 5 star holiday cottage (see tripadvisor) which is steeped in history with the main part of the cottage dating back to the late 1800's next to the Old School House restaurant on the edge of the village. The cottage stands on the old boys school site and has many stories from the locals. The cottage has recently been subject to a substantial program of renovations and redecoration and is now a much loved and beautifully presented holiday home, which can sleep up to 8 very comfortably in 4 lovely bedrooms. Arden on Albert is a charming 2-bedroomed townhouse on the doorstep of the beautiful market town of Beverley.

Dating back to the 17th century and belonging to the church of St Mary, this lovely little cottage was once home to the local monks. This property is ideal for couples or friends wishing to enjoy this vibrant market town. The property promises a memorable stay with comfort throughout. The living room with its open fire and a comfortable sofa, will be the ideal place to sit and relax after a day of exploring. All lovingly converted to a very good standard and each maintains many of there original features, including beams, tiled and wooden floors. The Old Stable (ref UK31779) has been expertly restored from stable sides which feature in the open plan living area. This area also has a series of small handmade stained-glass windows set high up on the back wall, which throw light onto the first-floor corridor. They are a delight and depict a story of a working horse and her foal, so in keeping with this fabulous holiday home. On the first floor are four of the five en-suite bedrooms offering a mixture of twin and kingsize accommodation. The house bathroom is an absolute delight with a free-standing roll-top bath, tiled floors and Velux windows. The Old Barn (ref UKC998) has two bedrooms on the ground floor along with the family bathroom, and the third bedroom on the first floor. The Cart Shed (ref UKC999) has the open plan living space on the first floor and all three bedrooms are on the ground floor, all three have their own TV. All three properties have underfloor heating throughout the ground floor which provides a cosy feel.

There are great walks round the farm, as well as along the riverbank and throughout the area. This location is also popular with cyclists, so be sure to bring your bikes and enjoy this delightful setting in style. Beverley is only 2½ miles away and is well known for its racecourse, minster, many boutiques and coffee shops. The coast at Hornsea can be reached within 10 miles, where visitors will find many of its traditional amusements and its promenade. York is a great place for a day out and is about an hour’s drive away. The Deep at Hull is one of the UK’s biggest aquariums and is well worth a visit and is about half an hour away.
