- "Kind of disappointed in the room hotel choice of room for me when I arrived. They gave room to someone else then claimed it was overbooked once Hotel.com spoke with them. They explained to me totally different. In for me to have that room I must extend my stay from 3 days to 5 days and that’s for any room with tub and washer/dryer combination. Not Cool someone should have NOTIFIED me August 1 of their changes. Hotel.com you all sent my reservation to them very late. - "The room was large and easily fit all five of us with plenty of space. The only thing we noted was the food left over from the previous occupant was still in the fridge. Otherwise very clean and the breakfast was pretty good too. Tameka who checked us in was very helpful. " - "Did not know about the 250.00 deposit for locals. Also, always make sure you clean your own room they did not have clean rooms" - "Understanding that this property has only been open for a week or so, I can forgive some issues with my family’s stay at Home2, Jackson. However, these are the issues we had: There was a significant issue with the expedia booking that seemed to cause problems for Home2, which took about 15 minutes to figure out at check-in. After that, we could not access the room for quite some time because it was still allocated, in the system, to another party who had already checked out. Once we were finally in the room, we noticed that all of the previous occupants dishes and drinks still in the room. Additionally, the room smelled strongly of smoke from illegal substances and we found that the previous occupant had taped up the smoke detector to prevent the alarm going off. We were not offered an alternative room — probably because all rooms were booked. We were promised a refund by the staff, and told it should show up on our card by yesterday, but have not received one yet."

I was so impressed with the integrity of the housekeeper (Keona) and the manager for going above and beyond to keep my jewelry safe. We booked 2 more nights for a later trip, based on the professionalism, integrity, patience and care this staff gave us. Thank you!"

- "Rooms very clean " - "Great place for the dog. Plenty of room and friendly staff. " - "Small rural town but several good places to eat, staff recommended some. Chose this town on visit to see the famous mounds because of low crime rates compared to many other towns in the region, perhaps it is because Henderson town has a religious college. Room was quite clean, though maybe some chipped paint, a little carpet fraying, worn edges on some furniture. Heat pump worked perfect, with digital controls. Pictures of lobby and rooms are accurate. Pool was drained as it was not yet open for the season. Staff said it is a very popular attraction in the summer. Breakfast included hot items, eggs sausage and biscuits, and OJ and milk in jugs in a fridge rather than out of a electric dispenser. I like the jugs here better. Waffles are in the freezer and there's a toaster. There are some old bad reviews from a group many years ago who was here at a conference and left a ridiculously huge amount of cash in a room which then went missing. Obviously the person who did that faced justice. But more important, the owners went out and bought programmable safes for every room so that such a thing can not happen again. I recommend this place. The main negative was you can hear people in the room above walking around which woke me a few times. "

You can see multiple layers of paint on the walls. The bed was broken somehow. It was sloping down toward the floor on the right side. There were only two pillows on the bed. Normally for two travelers there are four pillows. There was just one bath towel in the room. There were other towels, but they were not full sized for an adult to shower with. I killed a roach making it's way across the desk top. And last but not least, the staff entered my room while I was not there. I know this because they called me to tell me my belongings were still there.... 3 hours before checkout time.I had run out to grab some breakfast and the staff chose to enter my room without my consent ot knowledge. "

- "The owner was really nice... But his wife just opened the door while I was in the bath tub without knocking for an early checkout." - "We loved it. - "Good service " - "We just slept here, arrived late, left early. The young man behind the desk, Mohammad, was very accommodating, nice & friendly. The room is nice and big, long desk, love seat, vanity area, nice tub. However, there was an odor in the room. Most likely old cigarette smoke. Speaking of gross, there was 1 really gross thing. The fridge was a good size & was clean, but the little freezer area was YUCK. It looked like someone froze a coke and it busted. Probably just an over sight of the cleaning staff. Will definitely mention that upon check out. Also, the towels are very thin. All in all though, the room was very comfortable, the bed slept great and it was a pleasant stay. "
