The Casita is attached to our home but separated by the two car garage. It is a southwestern style ranch surrounded by alfalfa fields and very large old growth cottonwood trees. The Casita is inside the gated main courtyard wall, which provides security and serenity. There are no neighbors close to the ranch, we are offset from the end of the road cul de sac by nearly 1/4 mile. The pool is located in the backyard of the main house and is suitable for use from Memorial day through Labor day. The wildflower gardens enhance the sights and smells of Western Colorado as well as providing ample food for butterflies, honey bees and Humming birds. Several runs of grape vines line the pasture fence at the back of the property. There are many ways to enjoy walks and bike rides along the Highline canal and local roads as traffic is minimal in our area. Wildlife viewing is readily available, mule deer, coyotes and birds including a family of red tail hawks call Bookcliff Ranch home. On special occassions Golden eagles and Bald Eagles are seen.
The Casita is best suited for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults, 2 of which could share a bed. Additional guests will be charged a one time fee of $35.00.

The grounds are so well maintained, from the well-manicured lawn to the amazing flowers. The house is jaw dropping inside as well, including both the original and remodeled portions of the house. We couldn't have asked for anything more during our stay here. Our dogs were more than happy too, with the fenced yard for them stretch their legs in. This Newly Updated 1905 Bungalow is centrally located in Downtown Fruita. The home was taken down to the studs and rebuilt with the purpose of creating the best short term rental experience possible.

The property offers a brand new kitchen, appliances, flooring, and bathroom. No details have missed including high-end furniture throughout along with a comfortable private outdoor patio with firepit. We also provide a lockable storage for all of your outdoor toys!

Located just a couple of blocks to Downtown Fruita our home offers an open floor plan with a nice blend from the kitchen to the living room. The kitchen is vaulted with custom cabinets and quartz countertops. All of the appliances are new with an induction stove top and LG appliances. The large Island provides seating for 4 and we also have a small table for 2.

The living room is super cozy with a sectional couch with a memory foam pull out mattress and comfortable chair. We also have a 70" Samsung QLED for evening entertainment after getting off of the trails!

Primary bedroom is vaulted and has a king bed and the secondary bedroom is very comfortable with a queen bed and desk if you need to take care of any work while you are away.

The private fenced backyard offers a newly installed concrete patio with a comfortable outdoor couches and a gas fire pit. The covered front porch is a great spot in the afternoon with some lounger chairs.

We also provide a large secured shed to store any mountain bikes, etc...

- "My partner and I live up in the mountains near Crested Butte. It is lovely but there are no specialist doctors available. The road from Gunnison to Montrose has been closed much of the time for a few years now making the trip arduous. So we can plan our appointments , always durning the weekdays and stay in comfort out of Grand Junction, and easily drive in for our appointments. The extra rooms were great if one person wanted to say up and recover by reading or whatever. Lovely home. Close to Litihic Books in Fruita (Always a treat) and the skate park and restaurants. We really relaxed on the back porch in the morning for coffee and ate our dinner out there. Very nice."
