- "Great little motel, very friendly staff" - "I have been staying at the Spoke and Vine for the last year and a half every time I come to Palisade (I live in Moab) and love everything about this hidden gem! Though small, the rooms are well appointed, always super clean and the the mattresses are very comfortable. They are also dog friendly and only charge a $25 fee (more than reasonable). There is an adorable bar on site which offers some the same high quality margaritas as the local restaurant Fidel's (same owners), and the staff is always really welcoming. Last but not least - this is a perfect location for exploring Palisade and its environs. It's a 10 minute walk into town. "

Full of art, plants, and life, this classic 115 year old farmhouse was moved to the current location in 2007, on its 100 year anniversary, from eight miles away. Originally located on a one hundred acre pear orchard, it now sits surrounded by the magnificent Palisade area views of the Grand Mesa and the Bookcliffs, with peach orchards and a vineyard immediately surrounding it.
Fully updated with 3350 square feet, three roomy bathrooms, two with claw foot tubs, a large social kitchen and great room, another living area, a formal dining room, and a large comfortably furnished wrap around porch, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are many board games, puzzles, and cable TV and WiFi for down time. All of the bedrooms have new mattresses, and the house is well insulated, with Central AC, and at a distance from the train so you will sleep soundly and comfortably. One bedroom on main floor with a queen size bed and 3/4 bath en suite; two bedrooms upstairs with queen size beds each; one bedroom upstairs with two full size beds, and a full five piece bath including claw foot tub for these rooms; also upstairs a master suite with a king size bed, plenty of floor space for additional blow up mattresses if needed, and a full five piece bath en suite including a claw foot tub.

The Fabulous Farmhouse is located on one of the routes of the Fruit and Wine Byway, a local system of routes designed to let you bicycle (or drive) to the area Wineries and Fruit Stands to enjoy all our agricultural area has to offer. Also, it is two miles from the terminus of the Palisade Plunge, an epic 32 mile singletrack bike route that descends over 6000’ from the top of the Grand Mesa into Palisade.
The house is walking distance from downtown Palisade, and we are very close to the Colorado River and the recreational opportunities it provides. In fact, you can see the high water from the porch in June! We sit about halfway along the popular “Town Float”, a fun two mile river float on paddle boards, kayaks, or “duckies”, that is a staple of summer enjoyment. There are several trailheads for moderately challenging and very scenic hikes in the immediate vicinity, including the Palisade Rim Trail with ancient native people’s petroglyphs along it. The house is a fifteen minute walk from Riverbend Park for music festivals, the Palisade Peach Fest, and the famous Colorado Mountain Wine Fest, as well as disc golf and other outdoor recreation.
This is a lovely, rural, and mainly flat area that is superb for bicycles, and there are rentals available from the bike shop in town. Rapid Creek Cycles also rents river equipment like SUPs and kayaks, as well as gives lessons.
When you take that short drive, bike ride, or nice walk into Palisade, you will find restaurants, a brewery and a distillery, and Colorado Weedery, which is a retail cannabis store. Also a well stocked grocery store, gas and convenience stores, hardware store, liquor store, as well as art galleries and wineries. Enjoy ALL that Colorado has to offer from this location!
The Colorado National Monument is located in nearby Grand Junction.
We are a one and a half hour drive to Moab, Utah’s red rock country and Arches National Park; one and a half hour drive from Ouray, Colorado, the “Switzerland of America”; and a forty min drive to the top of the Grand Mesa, with over two hundred lakes, plus Powderhorn Mountain Resort.
Guests have full use of the house and property, excluding two locked closets upstairs containing the owners’ personal property.

The Bluff House has 12 acers of privacy, views of Mt. Lincoln, deer and views of the Palisade valley. Our cottage is designed to sleep up to 10 guests, making it the perfect space for larger gatherings or intimate getaways.

To keep our prices affordable, we charge additional fees only when you exceed the 6-person limit. If you plan to bring more guests, kindly notify us in good faith ahead of time, and we'll gladly accommodate them for a fee of $50 per person per night.

Please be honest with your guest count. If we discover undisclosed guests, a fee of $100 per person per night will be applied. Transparency is key to maintaining our budget-friendly approach.

In consideration of our daughter's extreme allergies, we regretfully cannot allow pets or service animals of any type. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

No smoking is allowed inside the house. We will charge a $500 additional cleaning fee if you are caught smoking inside.

The property is located on the Fruit & Wine Byway and within 5 miles 9 amazing wineries in Palisade. The Palisade Plunge and the Rim Trail provide hikers, bikers, and trail runners with amazing adventures. The house is a quick 7 mile drive to downtown Palisade which is home to great bars, restaurants, multiple wineries and charming coffee shops.

Full use of the entire house and 2 car garage (opener not included). On the main level there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed and attached full bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is another full bath on this level between the second and third bedroom. You will find a fully stocked chefs kitchen with a new refrigerator, double ovens and a 6 burner gas range.

The family room is in the downstairs of the home where you will find an oversized couch, new smart TV, poker table, work space and another bedroom with a king size bed. The middle of the couch pulls out to a full size bed and the linens and pillows for it are located in the closet of the downstairs bedroom. There is another full bathroom in the basement which also contains the washer and dryer. The house is equipped with high speed internet through Starlink.

There are two outdoor seating areas in the front of the house where you have amazing views of Mt. Garfield and the Grand Mesa. There is a small deck off the back of the house where the propane grill is located and another outdoor table and chairs outside the walkout basement.

100 year old home completely renovated. This home is in the heart of downtown Palisade. Walk or bike to local wineries, distilleries, restaurants, art galleries, etc! There are two bikes at the home available for use and a bike shop a half a block down the street where you can rent your own. The front porch offers a prime place for people watching and catching up with friends over a bottle of Palisade wine! A firepit and great outdoor dining space have recently been added as well.

The bed is comfortable, the place was really clean, the host is easy to deal with and thoughtful. Simple things that make life easier are taken care of, like: all the light switches are labeled and the check out is really simple. The location is sublime. Do be aware that you're out of the town of GJ by about 20 minutes and that there are quite a few stairs leading to the front door. Being on the second floor (above a storage garage, I believe--no one lives below) gives the glorious feeling of being in a treehouse; but the steps were a bit much for my elderly mom.) Even though it was really hot in the valley (106F), the evaporative cooler and the cellular shades did an effective job of keeping the place cool. This is a really good place to stay and I'd book it again in a heartbeat."

- The living room is newly furnished with sofa, accent chair, entertainment center stocked with card / board games and a large flat-screen TV. Cozy in the cooler months, the home has an electronic fireplace to help warm the living room on winter evenings. You can also enjoy the fuzzy throw blankets, comfy robes and warm up with a delicious and warm drink from the espresso maker.

- The master bedroom offers a king bed and a cozy sitting area that includes a futon sofa sleeper. There is a full bath with a shower and extra storage space.

- The guest bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a sitting area.

- There is a bonus space with a pull out twin bed and desk / work area.

Other things to note:

The Roost Cottage is in a rural area. Please be aware that this setting brings with it wildlife and other critters. We've seen wild turkeys (daily!), owls, bobcats, bears, deer, foxes, mice and lots of birds of all kinds (including hummingbirds in the spring and summer) on the property. We also have bugs, including wasps, flies and spiders.
