Cupid Home - Sunset Town is a beautiful two bedroom house situated in Shrewsbury park, Wellhouse St Philip, Barbados. The house is exceptionally roomy and offers a full kitchen for self catering. If you do not wish to prepare your own meals, there are a number of restaurants within 10 minutes drive of the house. These include the world famous La'Zure,D'Onfrios and Zen restaurants at The Crane Residential Resort, giving you options of European, Italian or Thai/Japanese in their respective orders. If you want true bajan food you can check out The Crane Palms opposite The Crane Resort or one of the many side street vendors selling fish fry.

The house also has free WiFi internet, free telephone for local calls and cable TV(via netflix and hulu plus).

Beaches:
La maison du soleil is located on the south east coast of Barbados and is 3 minutes drive from Harrismith beach. It is a remarkably beautiful beach but only recommended for the stronger swimmers. Less strong swimmers can visit The Crane beach. The Crane Beach was actually rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world. It is an 8 minute drive from the house and there is usually a life guard on duty during the day.

Transportation:
Car can be delivered to the airport saving you on airport transfers. Free airport pick-up is offered to 4 persons or less. The house is 15 minutes from the airport and a taxi would cost $34us.(Jan 2023 rate)

If you are allowed an early check-in and it is before 8am local time, or after 7.30pm local time, there will be a $30us fee attached for the airport transfer. This does not apply if you are making it to the house yourself and using self check-in (the car can be collected later usually in these cases but we are flexible).
If you are returning the vehicle to the airport before 8am local time, or after 7.30pm local time , a $10us fee would also be attached to cover parking fees at the airport.

- "We were so lucky to find this home. Kason and Dawn (owners) are amazing people. With the use of the car we were all over the island everyday. I surprised myself with how quickly I caught on to driving on the right of the car down the left lane of traffic. Yes the house is considered to be in the country but the peace and quiet was great in the evening. Also considering the size of the island 10-20 minute drive and your somewhere quiet and remote or in the middle of the hussel and bussel of Bridgetown. I drive an hour to work one way so this is nothing. We didn’t eat at the house much because there were so many roadside bars/restaurants that we ate ourselves silly. The house is very clean and well maintained Air conditioning in all the rooms and a very island home feel. We took several tours. The Crane Resort is a pick up spot for all the tour companies and a 10 minute drive to get there. If your looking for a party every night this is not the place to stay but if you want to experience Barbados from the eyes of a local this is your place. All you need for the perfect vacation is this home and Google Maps!"

- "Climate in Barbados is just perfect. Needed transport to get around so hired a scooter. Property owner collected us from the airport on arrival and returned us at the end of our stay. He also offered to take us to St Lawrence Gap where we hired the scooter. Accommodation comfortable and could accommodate a family of four or five if necessary, but is a bit old fashioned. St John’s lies East of the island on the Atlantic side . Pot House is known for the spring which is an oasis just down the hill from the house . The spring water is the purest water from the mountains . We collect fresh spring water daily for drinking so visitors

will have a bottle in the fridge .The spring is visited frequently by locals from all over the island as they come to enjoy the fresh water.
St John’s Church is just up the hill the Church dates back to 1664. There are spectacular views either side. St John’s Church is popular with tourists.
Buses run frequently along the top road the fare is$2. The buses go all over the island
and are good cheap way of discovering the real Barbados.
There is of course always car hire.
The holiday apartment is situated between Bath beach and St Martins Bay . Bathsheba beach is a little further round. Bath beach is quiet during the week .0n Sundays the bus takes Bajan families to picnic on the beach , this is the only day the bus goes to Bath. St Martins Bay has a fish restaurant and fresh fish market on Thursdays. Bathsheba , is popular with surfers. It also provides photographic opportunities for tourists due to large boulders from the mountains that stand in the sea . Bathsheba has a bar for the locals and two restaurants .
If walking is for you then a walk from Bath beach along the coast path will take you through other smaller bays towards St Martins.

All appliances, including ceiling fans, lights and air conditioning unit, must be switched off when leaving the apartment. Our pricing is based, in part, on the average use of utilities. Leaving the air conditioning unit on day and night, even when you are out, and/or bedroom doors left open while air conditioning is operating is not normal usage. Air conditioning is for use while you are in the bedroom only.

Fully restored and modernised Plantation House (and self contained cottage - also available to rent), set amongst cane fields and the countryside, yet only 15 minutes from either the west or the east coasts. We can promise plenty of sunshine and beautifully refreshing breezes here in St George. The house is fully staffed and sleeps 8 people comfortably. The cottage sleeps 4 people.
