Then I would take a short walk down the road to the bus stop and begin exploring the island. Some of the places I visited included the fishing village of Bathsheba, the Andromeda Botanical Gardens, Friday night fish fry at Oistino, Garrison Savannah, Barbados Museum, Speightown, St. Nicholas Abbey, George Washington House. the Nidhe Synagogue. There is more I'd like to share but Expedia is limiting the number of words. So, I will spend the rest of my time focusing on my hosts Karen and Andre who were exceptional. Beach access is direct from the garden and pool area. The pool area has sun lounges, shaded areas and some umbrellas.

In low tide a sand bank comes up which is lots of fun for kids (and adults) to walk out on. A shower is at the gate if you wish to wash off when you come back.

Just a few minutes walk away is the famous St. Lawrence Gap - with lots of dining options, bars, live music, and nightclubs. On weekends you may experience some noise at night so if you are a light sleeper we'd recommend some soft foam ear plugs. If you don't feel like renting a car, you can also easily catch a bus to go up and down the South Coast just outside the condo building.

It is a short (less then 5 minutes) walking distance away from 2 of the best beaches of the area (Rockley and Worthing). Less then 8 minutes from grocery stores and tons of nice restaurants from 2 to 15 minutes away. (Starbuck 2 minutes away). The family we joined there have been travelling to this area for 5 years and when they visited our villa they were jaleous that they never got a nice place like this to stay. Great to have pool area and balconies to relax and the small beach for refreshing swim in the ocean. Barbara always great and easy to deal with when booking. As ever staff including Ricardo, Jerry, Michael and Monica were extremely helpful. Home from home but in paradise! Great restaurants nearby including Harlequins and Primo.
