A super nice cozy log cabin located only 6 miles from Mount Airy and the Andy Griffith Museum. It is sitting on a little farm. Miniature donkeys and goats are on surrounding property. We always provide candy, orange juice, milk, breakfast bread or muffins. We are pet friendly.

Newly renovated 1940's Bungalow located in the heart of Mayberry. We are within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. We are literally around the corner from Wally's Service Station where they offer rides in the squad cars. Pilot Mtn park is a 15 minute drive south on hwy 52. It has some amazing views and hiking paths. Speaking of walking paths, Mount Airy has some beautiful paths downtown, along the river.
We are in close proximity to several Yadkin Valley wineries. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 15 minute ride north of us. It's a beautiful sight anytime of the year but Fall is amazing.
This non smoking home has 3 bedrooms (queen bed, full bed and bunk beds - 200lb limit on bunks) 2 baths (one tub / one shower) and is full of charm.
We have two porches and a deck to sit and relax on (smoking permitted there only, not inside the home) and enjoy the NC weather.

- "Beautiful Home" - "Absolutely wonderful!! From the minute we turned onto the drive, we knew that this property wasn't going to disappoint! Traveling with teens can always be iffy, but between the disc golf course (my teen boys loved being able to play anytime they wanted), the pool, the game room loaded with fun games for all ages and the beautiful river that runs behind the property to explore, the teens had plenty to occupy them and keep them all happy!! The entire time we stayed at Riverside Memories there was not a single moody teen! Which, of course, made for happy adults! The kitchen had everything you could ever need and more! The bonus pay it forward pantry came in handy on multiple occasions. The entire property had plenty of extra linens, pool towels and bathroom necessities. The laundry room made it easy to stay on top of keeping them tidy. All the beds were super comfortable. My husband and I had the best sleep we have had in a while and we totally tried to figure out what type a mattress it was so we could get a new one just like it when we got home. :) When I say you can just show up to Riverside Memories with just the suitcase of clothes - I mean it. They thought of everything!! We will definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in that area. Freshly remodeled farm house, just minutes from downtown Mayberry. This home was once a 60 acre farm, now it's 2 acres of land on a dead end street (plenty of parking even for bike trailers) which acts as a private driveway. Get your steps in walking our driveway while everyone is getting ready for the day.
Our neighbors are the cute cows in the field across the road.

This non smoking house has 2 bedrooms with freshly made beds, 1 bath, a large kitchen and a laundry room. There is a nice deck located off of the kitchen, smoking is permitted there. On the deck you will find a gas grill, table and chairs for dining and relaxing outside.
Linens and towels are provided, kitchen has all the pans, dishes and glasses you will need. We also have free WiFi and cable TV.

This house has been remodeled, but door openings are still about 28" to 30" wide.
Downtown has a great Main Street with dozens of gift shops, 2 coffee shops, bakeries and 6 restaurants. You can take a ride in the vintage squad cars at Wally's Service Station on South Main Street. Mount Airy also has a large granite quarry close to downtown.
If you love art, the murals that are painted on the sides of several buildings downtown, are a beautiful sight. Andy's new mural is on Moore Street.
We have several, amazing walking paths that wind along the river downtown. Bring your sneakers or a bicycle.
Pilot Mtn. Park is a 15 minute drive south on hwy 52. The views are amazing and there are several hiking trails. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 15 minute drive north of us. We also have several wineries close by too.
The mountain tops can be seen from the house and the sunsets are usually beautiful.
The 10 minute drive to downtown is a straight shot down state road 89. It's the best of both worlds, country setting and close to town and shopping.

Mitchell River (right outside your front door) is stocked by the State and provides great fishing opportunities.

Our family’s farm was selected by 20th Century Fox to be featured in the Nicholas Sparks' movie, The Longest Ride, for it’s natural beauty and stunning views. Our barn was renovated by the movie crew (as Scott Eastwood’s house), has a 16 foot deck and overlooks the Mitchell River. It is the perfect setting for a private party or event!

The house dates back to the 19th century, and has been renovated to meet modern conveniences while still reflecting the history. My only complaint about this place, is that it didn’t have utensils/knives. We prepped all of our food in house—and I’m still drooling over the kitchen appliances—but we had to improvise on knives/forks/spoons. Looking forward to coming back here again soon!"

Check out the many trails and waterfalls at Hanging Rock State Park. Visit Mount Airy where the Andy Griffith show was filmed. There are many day trip attractions whether you want to stay close or make it a day trip. Go to Winston-Salem to hear a live band Or visit a winery. From Zip lining to Dan River kayaking, there is plenty to do on this relaxing vacation. Don’t forget the sunsets...or the star gazing without the distraction of street lights!

- "No matter the time of day you can see the peak of Pilot Mountain from the front deck, coffee in hand you can smell the clean air and hear the birds. Such a peaceful time with daily adventures and walks down the long gravel driveway to the cows that greet you each day. House is well equipped from the towels to the Kcups and plenty of seasoning. The beds are perfect and the living area is very comfortable. Can’t say enough about this property and the owner is very sweet and thoughtful with every detail to make your stay like home."

The house was very clean and well equipped. Furniture was very mismatched and dated. Could have used larger TVs. That being said, it was located on a dead end road which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. I definitely enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the nature sounds. We saw deer, geese and squirrels. It was centrally located to Winston Salem, Mayberry and Pilot Mtn. We visited old Salem (loved it), Reynolda House and Korners Folly. This house could be a 5 star rental with a little more attention to detail."
