Beautiful Garrison Lakefront property in Port Orford, OR. Lake is adjacent to the ocean so you can kayak, paddleboard, or take the small motorboat a short distance across the lake and be right on Agate beach for hours of exploring the tide pools, searching for agates and relaxation. The house is very private and nestled in between a wetlands reserve and neighboring trees. Two bedrooms and two baths with a sleeping loft as well. House comfortably sleeps 4-6. Everything you need is there waiting for you, just bring your clothes. The storage shed on the side has nice kayaks, paddleboards and bikes for your use. There is a great BBQ and outside patio fire pit heater as well.
Brand new dock built in 2019 is perfect for launching the kayaks and SUPs or sitting there with a glass of wine/beer to fish for some of the best trout fishing in southern Oregon right off the dock. It is a stocked lake and the fishing is awesome! Watch the magnificent waves crash against the rocks from the ocean, it is absolutely breathtaking to see. Be ready to interact with plenty of wildlife, deer, birds, and many, many jumping fish! Every season has its beauty. Winter brings some of the most wild spectacular Pacific Northwest storms and Summer is as beautiful as can be.

- "Amazing location. Isolated and beautiful. The access to the beach is so easy." - "The property was wonderful for my wife, our new-born daughter, and dog. While we got the opportunity to experience all weather (rain,hail,sunshine) we took full advantage of the outdoors. It was lovely, we hiked 5min down the road to the beach, we noticed tracks and animal droppings but sadly saw no wildlife except some birds. We didn’t get to enjoy the fireplaces as all the wood was damp, I would recommend bringing fresh wood! Luckily, central heating worked fine. The beds were comfortable and the overall ambiance of the home was spot-on. The One and only flaw it had was that the back door did not lock at all, no matter the configuration and if you are like me safety is #1 no matter where or how far you may be from civilization. Other than that, what a gem! Hope to be back some day!"

Nice finishes and comfortable furnishings. We walked to restaurants and shops. Only draw back was we arrived late and found a note about a boil order in affect. Just a short walk to the town of Port Orford with local shops, restaurants, galleries and the famous Port Orford lookout at the fishing dock! Beautiful nearby beaches and breathtaking sunsets make for a perfect day! For health and safety of all our guests, the cabin will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival.

The living room has comfortable furniture with a 50" Roku TV. Streaming services are available with guest's own accounts.

This cabin has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed. The 2nd bedroom has queen bunks and a sofa with 43" Roku TV. Please note: weight limit on top queen bunk is 150 lbs. The main bathroom has a shower with soap, shampoo and body wash provided.

The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven, stove, and microwave. We have pots, pans and utensils. There's also a single brew coffee maker with coffee, tea and cocoa pods.

There is a full-size washer and dryer available for use.

Guests will have access to the entire cottage. The driveway can accommodate several vehicles and there's an EV2 charging station located on the side of the cottage. Please park on the left side of the driveway as this driveway is shared with the cabin next to it.

Check in instructions, address, WiFi password and WiFi smart lock (to enter the front door) will be sent prior to guest arrival. Check out instructions will be sent prior to guest departure.

This cottage is secured by a security system and has one Ring camera at the front door facing the porch and another camera on the garage facing the driveway. There are no cameras inside the cabin. We respect our guest's privacy when they stay at our cabin.

Pets welcome, please see house rules for requirements.
Pet Rules:
Dogs are permitted by request only and upon approval. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed. There is a pet fee. Please include your pet when booking so it will be added to your reservation. Guest must provide dog bed, crate and/or kennel. Dogs are not permitted to lay on the furniture or bedding. They must be secured in a crate/kennel if left unattended at any point. Guest must pick up dog waste and dispose of in waste bags that are securely tied. Please keep your dog leashed when outside. Guests will be responsible for any damage caused by their dogs. Sorry, no cats or other animals are allowed.

House Rules:
No events, parties or large gatherings. No smoking of any kind in the house. Quiet hours 10PM - 8AM. Must be at least 21 years old to book.

Check Out Procedures:
Wash and rinse dishes and leave on drying rack. Place dirty towels in bathroom shower. Bag trash and put in garbage/recycle cans. Leave all bedding on beds. Lock windows and doors. Leave heat at 68 degrees.

- "The view is fantastic. The unit is cozy and well appointed. A perfect spot for a coastal getaway. Romantic if you are a party of two, fine for a party of 3 but may be too small for more than 3 people." - "Stayed over a week in this newly renovated unit and enjoyed it very much. The best thing was the fantastic coastal view with mountain, sea and beach. It is also centrally located in the small Oregon coast town of Port Orford; right on rocky coast with plenty of beaches as well. You can easily walk to town, restaurants and beach (downhill all the way). The unit is the smallest of several being constructed (4 I think) and the bigger units have an even better view! The construction causes a bit of chaos and comings and goings but it wasn't bothersome. The friendly and helpful owner says he will be putting up arrows signs to each unit but for now, this one is unit B. Also confusing is that you share the road/drive with a city trail, but there is parking near the lower units. There is a nice small kitchen complete with all you need including ice trays and toaster, and the induction stove tops worked well with lovely copper pots that cleaned so easily. Separate bedroom with a few shallow steps up to bath. The only drawbacks were that currently, because there is a second full bed in living area, there is only room for one easy chair. Since I was alone that was fine but more people would have to sit on bed or at table (owner is working on getting sleeper sofa). Secondly the only window in bedroom opens to walkway for other units so you hear some coming and going when it's open. In time there may be AC/heat pump which I'm not sure you'll ever need but it might solve that problem. And once construction is done it might not matter. The bed is comfy, there's a jetted tub in bathroom and you can sit outside on a grassy hill and take in the view. What more can you ask for?"

The bathroom includes heated tile floors, a walk-in shower, and a heated towel rack.

Large windows and vaulted ceilings create a bright and open space while embracing the views! This studio lives large while finding a space for everything you need to feel at home. Studio Sleeping Area: Features a comfortable King bed, nightstands with bedside lamps for reading, and a walk in closet for guest personal items. Large windows bring in sunshine and blinds can be drawn for privacy. Wake up to the sunshine and walk out to the private terrace for a view of the sunrise over the Pacific.

There is also a Pack & Play in the closet for guest use.

The private bathroom is updated with a shower, vanity and toilet. There is plenty of storage for guest toiletries. Quality linens and basic amenities including Shampoo/Conditioner and hair dryer for Guest convenience.

This open plan also includes a desk area for working remote. Table lamp and WIFI make this a comfortable space to catch up on those work emails!

FREE reserved parking in private driveway for up to 2 vehicles. The garage is NOT included but there is parking for up to two vehicles in front of the Garage. The space directly in front of the Main Home is RESERVED for the main house guests and is NOT available for guest use.

There is a shared BBQ that guests from both units have access to.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire private suite. The unit is attached but there are NO shared walls and it is above the garage, The driveway is RESERVED for the studio guest so there will be designated parking.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a residential neighborhood blocks from downtown Port Orford and directly across the street from the Ocean. If you walk directly across the street from the house and down a small road, it takes you directly to the dock, which has all of the ships on a dry dock and they are crane lifted into the water. There is a small beach & Sandy area. There are some benches spaced out spontaneously and sporadically for private sitting areas with gorgeous views of that Port.
The Port of Port Orford in Oregon has a unique "dolly dock" that's one of only two in the United States and six in the world. The dock has cranes that lift and retrieve vessels, and homemade trailers, or dollies, that store vessels when not fishing. The dock also has two hoists and no boat ramp.

The port is located on the open ocean, so moorage is only possible during calmer weather. The port also doesn't have an ocean bar to cross, which means more fishable days per year.

The port is a working port, so visitors should keep an eye out for fork lifts and moving boats. Some say it's not great with small kids.

Getting Around:
Located between Bandon & Gold Beach along the coastline. This property is best with a car to see the local sights, however it is a short walk to the downtown area with dining & shopping options and everything is a convenient drive from the home including grocery stores and restaurants. You can fly into North Bend Airport, Bandon Airport, Eugene, or PDX. If you are from out of state, we suggest flying into Eugene and making your way down the coastline.

Other Things to Note:
We are happy to share our vacation home with others and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We also appreciate when guests treat it like they would their own! There is a complete list of instructions at the home including WI-Fi passwords and check out details.

~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My DIstrict.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
- Self Check In using digital door lock and private code. Check-In is any time after 4:00PM and Check-Out is by 11:00AM.
- FREE parking on street and 2 designated spaces in back.
- Pack and Play must be requested ahead of time as it is in storage. It is shared and on a first come basis.

You will be required to climb a set of stairs to enter the property. The home is very safe and built to withstand inclement weather, but it may rattle or shake – it’s a one-of-a-kind experience for those who love storm-watching but may not be everyone’s preference.

Due to the home’s position overlooking a 200 ft cliff, it is extremely dangerous for children to be left unattended. We recommend leaving the little ones at home, but if you do bring them along – you are solely responsible for their safety.

PET FEE & POLICY

This home is pet-friendly and welcome to your furry friends during your stay. However, I do have some rules and a pet fee to preserve our home’s delicate luxury furniture and linens.

• Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.
• Pet owners will be responsible for damage and charged through their payment on file.
• Our pet fee is $350/pet charged at check-out. The fee goes to the cleaner for the extra work required after a pet stays.

NOTE: This fee does not cover damage by breaking the pet policy rules. Please note that we’ll be charging any extra damages done to the property by your pet.

PRIVACY
This stunning glass house is suspended over water with floor-to-ceiling views that allow the sun to beam right in. It may get hot, but the AC and window shades function perfectly. Please note that there are no blackout shades, so light may come through in the early morning.

Its unique, open-concept design has divider walls for privacy, but the bedrooms do not have doors — which may make simultaneous conference calls more difficult.

The Gray Whale Suite is the largest in the building. It is a 2 story unit featuring a living/dining space that also includes a sofa bed, full kitchen, and bathroom with shower on the ground floor. The upper floor has the bedroom, work space, closet, and master bath with heated tile floors, a walk-in shower, and a tub with an ocean view! Both bathrooms have heated towel racks.
