Our private Cozy House has just been renovated! We put in a new kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and a big 4k smart tv. It's in a friendly neighborhood located in the heart of Waterville only five minutes from Colby College, Thomas College (by car) and just a few minutes from downtown Waterville. Everything is very close to our location. There's a Hannafords nearby, Maine General Hospital and many restaurants, schools and stores. We are located on a private dead-end driveway.

Steeped in local lore, this vintage Craftsman home offers your own piece of living history from which to enjoy the charm and splendor of Central Maine. One of only two homes in Maine designed by Arts & Crafts architect Herbert E. Knapp, this gorgeous house's origins date back to 1914 when it was built as the home for the local mill manager, Robert H. Stobie. Showcasing many original features, including oak woodwork, tile, period wallpaper, and ornate light fixtures, the home has been thoughtfully restored throughout with complementary updates designed for modern living. The town park, with access to Two Cent Bridge, where you can walk across the Kennebec River, is directly across the street. You can also walk to the Waterville Opera House, which hosts year-round musical events and theatrical productions. Several nearby colleges, including Colby and Thomas Colleges, attract an annual draw of visitors and events.

The renovated chef's kitchen comes well-equipped for gourmet meal planning with a full suite of major appliances, cookware, accessories, and high-end features, plus an incorporated butler's pantry complete with marble prep counters, a commercial-grade sink, and dual fridges. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Stay in an historic mid-century Deckhouse within walking distance of downtown Waterville and close to Quarry Road trails. One-bedroom, newly remodeled. Natural light illuminates every room from the spacious windows, or draw the blackout blinds for maximum privacy. The sitting room with futon looks into the woods where you may see turkey and deer. Covered parking for your winter visits.

Owners live on premises with friendly dog, often outside with the owners. Do not book if you are extremely allergic or afraid of dogs.

Great neighborhood near downtown, 3 miles from Colby College, 5 miles from Thomas college. Large backyard for kids to play. Great accommodations for family vacation, graduations, or hosting events. Garage space as well as half finished basement that has been converted to workout space. Office on first floor includes printer. Eat in and formal dining space amd back deck.

- "My fiancé and I took a trip to Maine to visit family. We brought our 4 young children with us. Danielle and Adam were extremely accommodating. Thier home was exactly as described. It had all the amenities and more. Located in a nice secluded corner lot ,very close to all local stores and restaurants in the area. And about an hour away in any direction from the fun things we had planned to do during our stay. The home has fully functional kitchen and , bathrooms as described and all amenities listed are available. There is also a large fenced in back yard for kids to play. The house itself is very spacious and open with ample bedroom space for a large family. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! We will definitely rent from this location again someday!"
