We stay contact our guests even after they have made payment and have arrived in Jamaica because we want all our guests to be happy and return.

Gate Remote Keys

We ask that you take extra care with the gate remote keys during your stay. If a remote key is lost, a $150 USD fee will be charged. As with the beach passes, all guests will need to sign an agreement confirming their understanding and acceptance of this fee.

The main house consists of two wings adjoined by large lobby areas, the main dining room and a kitchenette for guests. This main house has seven bedrooms sleeping 14 guests plus two additional kids using our two fold up beds.

The LEFT WING of the main house includes bedrooms #1, #2 and #3. These are each equipped with one king sized bed and ensuite bathroom. Room #1 is the largest followed by room #3.

The RIGHT WING of the main house includes bedrooms #4, #5, #6 and #7.
Rooms #4 and #5 are the same size and each is equipped with a queen sized bed.
They share an adjoining bathroom.
Room #6, our smallest room, is geared for kids and is equipped with two twin sized beds and ensuite bathroom. Access to room #7 is through room #6.
Room #7 is equipped with a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom.
Rooms #6 and #7 combined is what we describe as the parents/kids quarters.

MAIN HOUSE + POOLSIDE ROOMS (13 bedrooms)…$2500 per night including head chef, kitchen staff and housekeeping. The poolside block of six rooms is adjacent to the main house and is next to the lobby.

Our chef is available to cook your meals according to your requests. Prior to arrival, we’ll ask whether you’d like us to provide provisions for your first dinner and breakfast at Villa Paradiso. We’ll open a tab for you at the supermarket and shop for the items you’ve requested. Once you’ve arrived, you can speak directly with our chef about your preferences, and you can either shop for items yourself or have our chef do so. You’ll simply pay the supermarket directly prior to departure.

You’ll also have a security guard on duty from 6 pm to 6 am each day for your peace of mind, as well as freshly laundered and pressed clothes every day at no extra cost.

- "The property is great for couples or families. The uniqueness of the rooms is a change from standard hotel rooms. The outdoor area allows for the privacy that makes you feel like your on an island by yourself. The staff was great! The chef and her team was outstanding. - "Six of us stayed at the two Morning Glory properties for one week and then 3 of us stayed on, in the smaller Sanora house, for four nights. It's a delightful place: simple with all the basics; spacious gorgeous grounds that Joe keeps meticulous; tidy and clean houses that Margaret amazingly maintains. Margaret will also cook bountiful and delicious meals at your request for a small fee. Both houses have large verandas to use for dining and relaxing. Plan on bringing in your own staples like coffee, sugar, spices, etc. Both Claude and Joe live on property, so you always have help when and if you need it. Claude has a list of drivers who can get you almost anywhere you need to go. Rohan was our favorite, driving us to the Ochi open air market and helping us pick our produce. He also drove us up to the Worthy Park Rum distillery about 45 minutes away (highly recommended). Morning Glory gave our group an opportunity to escape the US winter, be together, yet have tons of space to be alone when we needed it. Mornings (afternoons and eves) were indeed glorious here at Morning Glory."

One thing that would have helped with our planning would have been knowing the mandatory tip amount and grocery estimation in my initial price point estimate. Villa Caribbean Dawn has the flavours of an authentic Caribbean villa. It is located in Mammee Bay Estate close to Ocho Rios town centre. This is an area of private holiday villas and residential homes with access to Mammee Bay private beach club.

The villa was built in the 50’s and we’ve renovated and furnished with a Caribbean vibe. For instance, we had our kitchen built out of Spanish Elm by a local craftsman. The wood is native to Central America and the Caribbean. We’ve furnished our bedrooms with Bamboo and Wicker. This is a space where you can just chill out and relax, it’s home from home! If you want a villa with a true Caribbean vibe, choose us.

Come on in and check us out. You enter via a nice patio which has the original stone floor. It leads into a huge lounging area that is separated by two archways at the centre. Our Lignum Vitae tree is just a few feet from the lounge, the scent from it fills the air. It’s nice to know that we have a tree that bears the national flower of Jamaica.

Our kitchen is well equipped which leads from the lounge and flows into a separate dining area. From there you can access a courtyard area at the back that steps up to the back of the garden.

The villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which is ideal for families and friends to share. Two of the bedrooms are en-suit and are situated away from each other at opposite ends of the villa. You will have all the privacy you need.

For those who want a longer stay, we also offer a Winter Snowbird package. Guests have the opportunity to spend some of the winter months at a private villa. This could be your home from home where you can just relax and forget about the cold weather and simply enjoy the Jamaican sun.

The Bamboo Master is a large room with a smart television, a private kitchenette and en-suite shower room. This room has direct access to the patio.

The Mahogany Master is a large room with a smart television, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. This room has direct access to a courtyard garden. Both Master rooms have full use of the entire villa and gardens.

The large lounging area has cable television, music system, and a games area. It steps-down to our ¾ acre garden with tropical fruit bearing trees such as Mangos, Coconuts, Breadfruit, Banana and Ackee. Ackee is the main ingredient of the national dish of Jamaica, Ackee and saltfish.

We want you to have a great stay at Caribbean Dawn. You will be well looked after by our family helper who will take care of all the domestics. Our Guest Relations Manager will be on hand to take care of any queries you may have and our Gardener will keep the garden looking lovely.

The secure area where our villa is located has a beautiful private beach, which has a restaurant & bar and a gift shop.

The vista from the beach is amazing. Your gaze can follow the curve of the bay all the way down to the cruise ship pier in Ocho Rios. (Take a look at the photo that my husband took). The beach is protected by a coral reef just a few strokes from shore.

If like me, you spend a lot of time in your car dealing with the hustle and bustle of life, you'll appreciate the 10/12 minutes peaceful walk to the beach. You will enjoy the pretty walk, taking-in the nice homes in this exclusive area. What's more, you'll hardly encounter traffic. The beach within Mammee Bay Estate is limited to residents and guests only.

The grounds around the house were beautiful and we enjoyed the privacy this gave us, as well as the fresh coconut juice we had from the the trees. The octagon table was great for our evening meals. Kay and Tyrone, the owners, were readily available to answers any of our queries. Jean the helper was friendly, informative and very helpful. She came 3 times a week and changed our towels and sheets. Jean also did our washing ( as the washing machine was temperamental). The Mammee Bay estate was very beautiful, well kept and felt very safe to walk around. Scotch on the Rocks is a charming 5 bedroom villa overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Its ideal location is a privately-nestled cove between two of Jamaica’s most prestigious hotels: Royal Plantation 5-star boutique hotel and the legendary Jamaica Inn. While completely private, Scotch on the Rocks has its own private waterfront with a small patch of sand for enjoying snorkelling.

Stone steps lead from the main house down a slope to a private cove and fabulous crystal clear cove, wonderful for swimming, floating, snorkelling and kayaking. Beside the waterfront, the deck is an outdoor shower. The gardener will place chaises on the seaside deck and the butler will serve lunch there if you wish to stay on the waterfront all day.

Scotchie, as it is affectionately called, was originally built by the late Scottish Lord, The Earl of Mansfield. Today it is owned by members of the Red Stripe Beer family. Present owners have extensively renovated the home with a concentration on accommodating families. Victorian fretwork and warm mahogany floors are original, while Italian Travertine reflects recent renovations. Interior design is a tasteful eclectic mix of high-tech amenities combined with Jamaican and English antiques.

The iconic gathering place is the large furnished verandah overlooking the vast expanse of deep blue Caribbean Sea that is Scotchie's "front yard." Sitting here genuinely feels like lounging on the deck of a ship with nothing in sight but blue sea and sky. It's heaven.

24hr gated community and is comfortably and aesthetically pleasing with ample natural lighting throughout the home and parking for up to 3 vehicles.

It boasts 3-bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, queen size bed is found in the second bedroom and 2 full beds in the third room. Each Room has TVs and closets with a luggage stands and hangers.

The Living room is tastefully decorated and comes with a TV that has Netflix access so you can watch your favourite movies or series during your stay. The ocean can be seen from front patio and roof. You will feel the tranquil nature this beautiful scenery gives while you indulge in having quality time with family or friends enjoying the infinity pool. The kitchen comes fully equipped with new and all the required appliances and apparatuses - refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.
