- "DO NOT BOOK, THIS IS A FRAUD This establishment is a complete fraud and is extremely unsafe for guests. There is no "Beach Club". It is a run-down apartment complex where a woman rents out a room. While the room is, in fact real, there is absolutely no establishment called "Beach Club" nor is there a front desk, maid service, etc. There is no internet (as indicated on the booking), there is no safe, and there is nobody to call for assistance. There was no formal check-in. No check-out time; no credit card for incidentals, no papers to sign, absolutely nothing. This is not a commercial establishment and the apartment building super was not aware that rooms could be rented. Right outside the gate (which was a rundown shack with a chain across the road) a significant number of illegal drug-dealers stand outside aggressively pestering tourists who frequent the few bars on the street (which is not "Main Street" as indicated). The locals are fully aware of the drug dealers and warned us about the apartment complex. Because of that, the street is almost empty making you a prime target. Needless to say we did not feel safe staying there and sought other accommodation. "

Booking is for two guests but you can book 3 people to include a 3rd smaller person to sleep on the day bed. Its two single beds and a day bed.

The space
Nothing is shared!!

The apartment is on the 2nd floor accessed by one short flight of stairs. There's NO TV OR CABLE, but there's Internet via WiFi. You get your own apartment with kitchen and dining, fridge, electric kettle, gas stove, toaster oven and microwave oven. Air-conditioned bedroom ONLY. There's also a day bed that can accommodate a third person. Bathroom with shower, plus hot water (shower only) full size toilet. There's no Air conditioning available outside the bedroom.

This space is a great retreat for travellers and backpackers who want to explore Ocho Rios. You may also smoke freely 'outside' on the balcony but not inside the space.

Also something which may be of concern to a few people. Sometimes in the space there are local visitors called croaking lizards which are an official part of the eco system as they eat the bugs and mosquitoes etc.

A Taxi stand is in a 2 minute walking distance where they wash vehicles. Parking is available but is in a public parking space and vehicles will not be in view of guests. The area is safe and incident free. But vehicle parking is at your own risk. We are not liable for any damage to or theft of vehicle.

The property has packing on premises for several vehicles. Property is located off the main street tucked away on a hill in the District of Content Garden.
