- "The property was great and the outside areas were beautiful. The only criticism of the actual property was that the shower heads were all a bit leaky and could do with updating.However our stay was partly spoiled by the ongoing presence of the owner. On handover he advised us that he would visit every morning at 8am to water the garden and treat the pool. However over the first 2 days he frequently appeared within the garden and staying in a small annex attached to the villa. We rang the agency to complain and they agreed that he shouldn't be present after the maintenance visit. Afterwards he was less present, but would still appear when he thought we were out of the property and we were unsure whether he was present in the annex or not. Obviously this made the stay less relaxing then it should have been.Otherwise the villa was perfect for a family of 10 and the local restaurants in Novilara were lovely."

For many years Villa Giulia was the summer residence of Luciano Pavarotti, the last of the great Italian opera singers to conquer the world. This is the place where the maestro studied the operas he was going to record and received many illustrious guests.
The family has decided to make it possible for anyone who wishes to experience the emotions that still fill this villa to spend a holiday here.
Villa Giulia is situated on a hill that slopes gently down to the beach and sea, set within a 12 hectare fenced park which also has a tennis court and a nature walk for relaxing strolls.
The property consists of two buildings, the villa and an annex located alongside the main house which has five bedrooms, a music room with the piano the maestro used to use, and a fully equipped gym. The arcade around the villa is provided with outdoor lounge furniture and tables for eating “al fresco”. The private swimming pool is located in the garden at the front. In the summer, the outdoor areas, all of which offer beautiful views of the sea, become the heart and soul of the residence, so that everyone can participate in the social life of the villa.

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Villa Micol is a stunning private villa with swimming pool located in Le Marche region, set in the enchanting surroundings of the San Bartolo Natural Park, just 3 km from the sea. The villa offers a panoramic view of the Adriatic and guarantees comfort and relaxation for the whole family, including children and pets. The garden, covering more than 800 m², features an outdoor dining area, a brick barbecue, and a play area, while the saltwater pool, divided into two sections, includes a hydromassage area and a shallow zone designed for the safety of younger guests.
The surrounding area is ideal for nature lovers who enjoy walking or cycling along the Bicipolitana, the city’s network of scenic bike paths. Within minutes, you can reach Pesaro’s sandy beaches and its lively historic center—a city rich in museums, Renaissance palaces, villas, ancient churches, and the renowned Teatro Rossini, which every August hosts the much-anticipated Rossini Opera Festival dedicated to the world of opera. In a short drive, you can also visit the historic ducal city of Urbino, the charming villages of Gradara, Candelara, and Fiorenzuola di Focara, and even the Republic of San Marino. Among the experiences not to be missed are those that celebrate the flavors and aromas of Pesaro’s culinary tradition: vineyard tastings, seafood lunches on a boat, and sunset aperitifs with your feet in the sand. Be sure to try the famous Pizza Rossini, passatelli with fish sauce, and tagliatelle with beans, a symbolic dish of the region’s rural heritage.

The villa is on the ground floor and consists of a living room with fireplace and dining area, equipped kitchen, four double bedrooms, one with an additional bunk bed and two bathrooms with shower. The living room and kitchen overlook a perimeter veranda protected by large windows, where there is a further dining area and relaxation corner with sofas and smart TV; from here you directly access both the pool area and the garden. An internal staircase leads to the lower floor composed of bathroom with shower and laundry area. A large free and private car park is available inside the property, which is entirely fenced.

PRIVATE STRUCTURE. This elegant country home, skilfully restored in typical Italian style with terracotta floors and wooden-beamed ceilings, is decorated simply and elegantly with cosy, warm rooms finely finished with soft colours and hand-painted floral decorations and furnished with a collection of antique furniture. The distinguishing feature of the villa is undoubtedly the portico, ideal for enjoyable morning breakfasts or romantic dinners while admiring the view of the sea and the rolling hills on the Marche/Romagna border.
Interior
The villa has two floors. The main entrance leads into the living area consisting of a beautiful eat-in kitchen and a large living room divided into a TV area and a dining area. Next to the kitchen is the laundry area and a small guest bathroom. Continuing along the corridor, an internal staircase goes up to the first floor with two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathroom (one with tub and shower and one with shower), a twin bedroom, a further double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The second wing of the villa is accessible from the ground floor, with access from the outside via two doors. The first door leads into a hallway; from this hallway, a door leads to a ground-floor apartment with sitting/dining room, kitchen, double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, while an internal staircase leads up to the first floor with a suite composed of a sitting room with kitchenette, a private terrace, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The second door leads to an internal staircase that goes up to the first floor with another suite consisting of a sitting room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with tub.

Park
The entire fenced-in property extends for about 1.500 sq m over mostly level terrain. The beautiful area with the pool is surrounded by beautiful plants while the remaining part of the property is a succession of olive trees, tall trees, bushes, roses and other aromatic herbs. The strong point of the property is the large portico overlooking the garden and pool, furnished with table and chairs for convivial meals.
Swimming Pool
The regular-shaped pool is on the same level as the villa and just 10 m from it. Measuring 9 x 4 m with a constant depth of 1,30 m, it is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification and a ladder for access to the water. The area is equipped with an umbrella, deckchairs, chairs and tables. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.

Pets:On request. € 50,00 per animal per week to be paid on site. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.

Villa Eleonora, an ancient residence dating back to the end of the 19th century, was an annex of the beautiful "Villa Imperiale" of 1400, the Cardinalizzia estate which belonged to the Sforza and then to the Della Rovere, Unesco World Heritage.
In the 90s it was finely restored with the recovery of the original and typical period materials of the Marche farmhouses.

Just 3 km from the beach and from the city center in Pesaro, Villa San Bartolo is located within the Monte San Bartolo Natural Reserve. The villa is a rustic restored country house that can accommodate up to 11 people and features a large park where the beautiful swimming pool overlooking the sea is a rare gem.

Villa Vittorio, located 4 km from the sea in Pesaro Urbino, is the ideal accommodation for a relaxing getaway. These variations in the region’s geography are also reflected in its food; seafood is popular, along with rural delicacies such as wild funghi, game, nuts and herbs and the region’s treasured truffles. Coniglio in porchetta, rabbit stuffed with wild fennel is a revered regional speciality, and traditional porchetta made with suckling pig and stuffed into rolls is a popular street food.

If you are not fond of hot days and you love the beautiful mild sunny days, when the sun gently caresses your skin and senses, inviting you to spend time in the open air, why don’t you take the chance of a holiday in Marche in Autumn?

THE SCENT OF THE GRAPE HARVEST

Especially in the first part of autumn, the scents of the grape harvest invade the Marche hills. With must they make the typical, soft donuts that you can find in many local bakeries, must biscuits, perfect to be served with “vino cotto” (literally “cooked wine”) and “sughetti” (a kind of polenta made of must, corn flour and walnuts). When the must is cooked for a long time, sapa is produced: it is a sweet and sticky ingredient perfect for seasoning polenta and making cavallucci (a typical local biscuit). In Montecassiano the festival of sughitti is held during the last week of September. The oldest Sagra dell’Uva (wine festival) in Italy is held in Cupramontana at the beginning of October: it’s a festival with food, music, dances and, of course, Sir Wine.

OLIVE HARVEST & OLIVE OIL

One of the most magical moments in Marche, and in Italy in general, happens at the end of October / beginning of November: this is the month of the olive harvest, when you will see many people working around the olive trees to pick the precious fruit. Do not hesitate: the new oil, with its intense green color, is immediately ready to be tasted and purchased. If you have friends who have a farmhouse in the countryside with olive grove, ask them to invite you for the harvest: it will be a beautiful moment to share with your friends and then you can bring the olives to the mill and attend to the production of your own olive oil.

THE FOLIAGE OF CANFAITO BEECH FOREST

If you want to make an experience of colours, then you can’t miss the Canfaito beech forest: every year you can enjoy the same and always different show of the beech leaves changing colours. You’ll feel like under a golden dome made of yellow, orange and red leaves. Just enjoy a relaxing walk under the beech trees and don’t forget to stop by Elcito, a tiny untouched village, where you can breathe an atmosphere of old times, when shepherds woke up at dawn, spent the whole day out with their animals, longing to go back home and find some warmth in front of the fireplace with their families.

MEDIOEVAL VILLAGES

Visiting the numerous Medieval villages spotted all around Marche may be quite a challenge under the August sun, but doing it in Autumn, when the air is still warm and sun lights up the stones that make up the town walls, has a totally different appeal. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Marchigiano towns, where a beautiful panorama awaits you at every corner. Difficult to recommend a village: just switch off your satellite navigator, follow a less traveled road and certainly you will find a quiet and nice village waiting to welcome you.

CHESTNUT FESTIVAL

The good and sweet smell of roasted chestnuts is one of the nicest in autumn. You can go yourself to look for chestunts and then cook them at your place or, if you are not sporty enough, there are many chestnut festivals in October, especially in the Sibillini area, where people roast chestunts along the roads and you can buy a cone. The most famous chestnut festivals in Marche are in Smerillo and Montemonaco. Smerillo is particularly famous also for being one of the balconies of Marche: thanks to its elevated position, you can admire wide open views, stretching from the Sibillini mountains to the sea, passing through the rolling hills and medieval villages.

TRUFFEL

Autumn also offers another delicious, sought-after and highly appreciated product: truffles. Two are the most important events in Marche dedicated to truffles: the National Fair of White Truffle in Acqualagna and Diamanti a Tavola in Amandola, dedicated to the precious white truffles of the Sibillini. The most famous chestnut festivals in Marche are in Smerillo and Montemonaco. Smerillo is particularly famous also for being one of the balconies of Marche: thanks to its elevated position, you can admire wide open views, stretching from the Sibillini mountains to the sea, passing through the rolling hills and medieval villages.

Traveling in the Marche

AIRPORTS
The main transport hub of the Marche is the Adriatic port city of Ancona. International flights serve the Marche airport just northwest of the city, while ferries sail to and from destinations in Greece, Croatia and Albania.

PRIVATE CAR
You have to be a good driver in the Marche; the streets are narrow and often steep. Fly to Ancona and rent a car. For speed, take the A14, which connects the entire region along its 111 miles of coastline, from Pesaro in the north to Ascoli Piceno in the south. For pleasure, drive along the state roads through the splendid landscapes of the Marche.

TRAINS
