"FREE INTERNET WIFI" Set in the Umbrian countryside, close to Tuscany, between Città della Pieve (10 km) and Castiglion del Lago (12 km) il Casale alle Vie Bianche is a typical farmhouse built in 1860. The interior is very well furnished and cosy with 'terracotta' floors and exposed beam ceiling. Ground floor: lounge and dining room with fireplace, kitchen, 1 bathroom. 1 duble bedroom with ensuite bathroom. First floor: 5 bedrooms (3 double, 1 triple, 1 single with fireplace), lounge with fireplace, 2 bathrooms. The house is situated in a farming estate of 35 hectares of wood and olive groves where you can have lovely walks in an unspoilt and enchanting nature. The garden is completely fenced and there are kids outdoor games (swing and see-saw). In front of the main building there is a porch with a large dining table and an original wood burning oven (great for pizza!). The biological farm produces extra virgin olive oil and offers its guests not polluting detergents and solar panels for hot water.

- "If, like us, you are looking for that piece of hidden rustic paradise, this lovely old farmhouse is for you. 2km up a stone track, surrounded by a working olive farm, with wonderful views and a nice little pool, it suited six adults perfectly. Minor problems with electricity and water were dealt with promptly by helpful staff and Raffaella was always at the end of a phone to help out. It’s position allowed for day trips to Florence and numerous medieval villages and towns, good supermarkets and restaurants were 10/15 minutes away. Bring insect repellent! The Villa is located in the heart of Umbria, just a few kilometres from the region's main cities of art. It stands on the gentle hills overlooking Assisi, Spello and Perugia, in the middle of an olive grove carefully and respectfully maintained by the owner. In the large garden there is also a swimming pool (open from the beginning of May to the end of September; it measures 9 m x 5 m with a water height of 1.2 m). This house is particularly suitable for those who like to isolate themselves in total privacy without giving up the incomparable view. In fact, from the house it is possible to see some of Umbria's beautiful historic centres, starting with Bettona, a small medieval town (of Etruscan origin) that can easily be reached on foot. Of particular note is the central position with respect to the region's cities of art, all of which can be reached by car in between 10 and 45 minutes.
The Villa consists of 3 completely independent portions, 2 for rent (the Large Apartment and the Attic-Mansard) and 1 for use by the owners. - "The villa is mostly well set up and has everything we needed. It has a homely feel but with temperatures in the 30s during the day, it got very hot and sleeping at night was not easy. Giuseppe is a great host and nothing is too much trouble for him so he provided fans to help with cooling.Aircon is advertised as available - but with an extra charge of 20 Euros per night. We stayed a week and Villa Nuba was an ideal base from which to visit some of the many interesting towns and villages in beautiful Umbria. We loved Perugia and Villa Nuba and highly recommend."
