The Roman road down to the lake was one of our favorites, lined with old cypress trees. The house inside is quiet with every mod con - truly a magnificent place to call home for two weeks! Also, we had an electric car and had no trouble navigating the road - just make sure to follow instructions and take the correct road leading up to the property. You do not need a Jeep or manual transmission. Just find the right road via the owners’ instructions."

- "Very nice property and villa, extremely good position with an excellent view on the lake. The 3 Bathrooms are not really there, it is more 2 and a half bath rooms as one very small with a simple toilet and shower is located at the living room area . The two bedrooms in the basement have to share one bathroom. One of the bedrooms in the basement has been repurposed from an office to a bedroom, the other one is a children bedroom with two single beds. For a family with kids this is certainly not a problem. Other than that, the villa is really nice. Also the pool is very big and very inviting. We were 1 family with 2 kids and they stayed in the 2 basement rooms. The other family (no kids) used the original bedroom. For this constellation the villa is perfect. We have really spent a great time :)"

- "The villa is superbly situated with marvelous views on Lake Trasimeno, very quiet, clean and well equiped, the owner was super reactive when faced to a problem, and the swimming pool just perfect. The only drawback is the last 200 meters way to reach the house which is not suitable for a low car: although we drove very slowly and carefully, the front bumper of ours was torn out because of the uneven and rocky ground. However an overall very pleasant place for a holiday."

- "Lovely family holiday in very specious old villa The ground floor rooms are kept cooler with thick walls and so they are not bright, the upper rooms have air conditioning. All areas are well furnished and kept. WiFi was good The fantastic veranda, garden and pool area is the place you spend all the day in , with the most amazing views of the lake and surrounding area. The walk to and from the town is very steep, but if reasonably fit it’s 20 minutes down and 35 minutes back up good exercise. For 10 of us it was great! Villa il Mandorlo is in a residential area on a beautiful hill in Umbria. The house is surrounded by a large, very well-kept garden about 6000 sq m big, with many flowers, olive trees and fruit trees, such as a beautiful pomegranate tree. The garden is completely fenced, with an electric gate and a metal fence. The part of the garden which is on the same level as the house features a large, furnished portico for outdoor dinners which overlooks the lake and is right next to the kitchen and dining room, as well as an outdoor living room and children’s games (basketball hoop, table football, 5-a-side football goal), the swimming pool, measuring 8x4 and with a depth of 1.20 metres, complete with gazebo with table and chairs, sunbeds, a large beach umbrella, outdoor shower. The owners built the villa in 2011 and furnished it paying great attention to detail, with antique furniture, precious items and modern finishes. The electric and water works are therefore all very recent. The ground floor features a large entrance leading to the dining room and the living room with comfy sofas, a satellite TV, a fireplace, a charming and fully operational organ, and a chess table: this whole area boasts beautiful French doors which lead to the outdoor portico.
