- "Wonderful stay" - "Do you want that old school Savanah feel with a modern upscale feel and finiishes? Then this is your place! What we loved: - all the finishes - all the matresses were comfortable - the washer and dryer - everything in the kitchen - living room fueniture was very comfortable - plenty of towels - fenced in parking - two locking doors seperate main area frlm masterbedroom. This means you can lock the first door to block off one bathroom and the masterbedroom or you can just lock maaterbedroom door and allow rest of the occupants to use the masterbathroom in addition to the front bathroom. - electronic door locks for the unit with keypad - the livingroom chandelier was very pretty - two electric fireplaces - you are like 3 blocks to the nearest fire station - you are like 2 block from the police station - communciation with the host What we didnt love: - google maps, if you do a google streetview the neighborhood doesnt exaclty look like it did. Many of the buildings around it that were is disrepair have been taken down and this house in particular does not look the same. This house obviously wnet theough a massive renovation as has lots of the neighborhood and is not currently reflected in google streeview. Wellnhave saved this property fpr future visits, remeber savanahh is a smaller city so their blocks are much smaller so remember that when booking so you understand that you are closer to getting to river street by Uber or Lyft than you thjnk!"

The history behind the home: Several years ago, my husband and I purchased this home. The previous owners had divided the site into 4 separate spaces complete with separate entries. Our initial thought was to convert the property back to 1 whole space sans the divisions. We however soon found that to do so would involve essentially tearing the structure down and starting over as these renovations would require that we bring the building up to current code. This home is pre- 1970's and because of the nostalgia and charm of the place, we decided to leave it as is for now. Having said this, there are quirks to the property including slower drains, and some nostalgic flooring dating. to the 1970's. We personally. love the. character or the place and hope you will enjoy it as well!

- "This is our favorite family vacation place. We rent two of the apartments. Everyone has their hang out spots. The kids love the playground and adults love the dock and screen house. A nice 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach. Many little quirks. But I didn’t pay for the Taj Mahal. I paid for family time.. Love this place." - "Centrally located. The place was great. - "I frequently stay at VRBO homes several times a year and this was by far the nicest one yet. This place had luxuries I can't claim to have at home. Very high end. The house was better than advertised and the pictures do not do it justice. I had made an error in my date scheduling, thought I had scheduled two nights and in fact only scheduled one, and after contacting the management, it was corrected within the hour. Management responds immediately with any issues that may arise. The house was in a perfect location so that we were able to walk to most places of interest and be able to leave the car in the covered parking spot. The Pirate's House is on one side and Cha Bella is very close on the other with 912 Brew in between All were great finds. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to pamper themselves with luxury and have the convenience of touring the city on foot. We plan to return in the fall when the weather is cooler. Don't miss this one!!"

Our private second floor screened porch offers breath taking views of the Atlantic: whether you are relaxing in the seating area or dining at the table that seats 6-8, you have unobstructed view of the Atlantic. The best part is there is nothing between you and the beach except our private 90 x 60 ocean front patio (a truly unique feature on Tybee). This is a classic Tybee Beach retreat for the whole family. We are ocean front on Second Street halfway between the pier and the light house.
The same panoramic views of the ocean continue inside the open concept living room area. Sit on the large sectional sofa and watch the dolphin frolic, or gaze out the kitchen window to see large ships and enjoy the view all the way to Hilton Head.
The large kitchen is fully equipped and has room for several cooks. The breakfast bar accommodates six plus a game pub table with 4 chairs offers even more seating-all with that panoramic ocean view! An additional dining table that seats 6-8 is available on the screened porch. (Plus there are ocean front tables and chairs on the patio near the grilling area.)
The three roomy bedrooms have their own charming personality and access to ocean views. The large master bedroom features French doors that open onto a private balcony with a sweeping view of the ocean. A flat screen TV and a large attached bath complete the master suite.
The second bedroom has a queen bed and ocean views. The third bedroom has 2 double beds and ocean views.

The second floor of the property is the main common area, where two separate bedrooms, one full bathroom, a half bathroom, the kitchen, living room, and dining room are located. The first bedroom (Wave Room) consists of one queen bed with beautiful handpainted walls by Nancy Stern. The second room (All Hands on Deck Room) has two sets of bunk beds that can accommodate four people. There is one full bathroom connecting the Queen room and the room with the two sets of bunk beds. The second floor also has the second half bathroom for easier access to all the common areas.

Our kitchen includes an island with an electric stove, many cabinets for food supplies, a separate bar counter, and a variety of appliances. The appliances included in the kitchen are a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, blender, stove, oven, and dishwasher. Whether the family and friends are gathered around the island or while food is being prepared, you can enjoy being a part of the group with our open floor plan. The dining area houses our 8 person dining table with a bar top providing 4 additional seats. Our living room area is relaxing and still allows you to feel a part of the group. The living room includes a large 80in tv with one standard couch, a pull-out couch, and a love seat.

The remaining rooms are located on the third floor. The first room is the main room (Main Room Top Floor) that includes a king bed, his and her bathroom, jacuzzi tub, and a walk-in shower. The second and third rooms are also handpainted by Nancy Stern. The first room (Garden Room) has a queen bed, a walk-in closet, and a full bathroom. The second room (The Beach Room) has two queen beds, two walk-in closets, and a full bathroom as well.

Sea Sight Villa D is located conveniently on the south end of the island. While staying at one of the Sea Sight Villa condos you will be right around the corner from many of Tybee's most popular restaurants and shops. There are four condos in the Sea Sight Villa building. The historic Tybee Pier and Pavillion will be less than a three-minute walk away from this coastal condo.

Sea Sight Villa D is located on one level and may be accessed by an elevator or an interior staircase. The open living space floor plan is inviting and provides plenty of space for your entire group. The large updated kitchen has modern appliances and everything you should need to prepare meals. The living room has plenty of seating and a large flat screen tv. Directly next to the formal living area is an alcove with a full-size sleeper futon. Directly off of the living area is a spacious porch, ideal for enjoying meals or relaxing after a day on the beach. There is a full-size restroom, with a stand up shower, off of the living area.

Bedroom #1 and Bedroom #2 both have queen size beds and convenient access to a full bathroom located in the hallway. The full bathroom in the hallway has a tub/shower combination.

- "The Grant was exactly what we needed for a great price. The location was perfect for walking to rivet street as well as seeing all the historic sites. My husband and I, our 2 kids, and my inlaws were able to stay here comfortably. There was more than enough room for us to all hang out in the evening. I gave the unit 4 stars for cleanliness because the walls were a little dirty in the bathroom and under the bar area and the halls downstairs by the elevator had bags of dirty sheets laying in them and the hall infront if the unit often smelled bad.
