This room is right off the back porch where there is seating to enjoy a fresh cup of hot coffee.

✔ Noise Ordinance – Please keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM to respect neighbors. Savannah has a strict Noise Ordinance in residential areas.

✔ Parking Information – One free parking space is provided, but it is compact and best suited for mid-size SUVs or smaller. Larger vehicles must use free street parking nearby, taking note of street cleaning signs.

✔ Pet Policy – The property is pet-friendly, and well-behaved pets are welcome as long as they are not left unattended in the garden. Savannah has leash laws, and all pet waste must be cleaned up immediately.

Bicycles cannot be used on sidewalks, in squares, or parks. Savannah is best explored on foot, but please use designated crosswalks, as jaywalking is illegal.

✔ Open Container Law – To-go alcoholic beverages are allowed only north of Park Ave. However, public intoxication is illegal and subject to fines.

I have a little cottage on my property. I live in the main house and rent out the cottage. You will have your own separate entrance through the gate and to the cottage.

private property with separate entrance to the cottage. there are 2 very nice gazebos and a private pool that you have access to. Both gazebos and the pool area all have tv and music speakers for your use. there are string lights in both gazebos and in the pool area for night use. the pool is enclosed with screen and a solid roof so you can swim even when it rains although I wouldn't recommend if there is lightning ⚡😉. you will have access to a Blackstone griddle and also a charcoal grill. so again you have access to 4 areas, The cottage, the 2 gazebos, and the pool. All other areas are private. Both gazebos and the pool area are equipped with fans to combat the heat, you will find remote control for the fans and string lights on the tables. I have worked very hard to make my place as comfortable as possible, so that you will enjoy your stay!!

Other things to note
leave the porch light on because it controls the lights in the first gazebo coming into the gate. The pool goes from 3 to 8 ft. a rope will divide the 3ft from the 8 ft so if you can't swim please stay on the right side of the rope which will be the 3 ft. please do not leave children or anyone mentally impaired unattended. you will be swimming at your own risk there is no lifeguard on duty.

Incredible location on historic and famous Jones Street! This spacious studio on the "most beautiful street in the USA" is in the heart of the Historic District of Savannah! Enjoy being close enough to walk to many downtown restaurants, sites, and the river, while still being able to take advantage of a quiet, tucked away retreat in the heart of the city!

Our adorable residence has everything you might need for a vacation away from it all! The studio apartment features a queen bed and full bath. Approximately the size of a hotel room, this historic cottage was built in the 1870's and is nestled between Jones Street and Charlton Street in the Landmark Historic District. You will have your own private laundry. Yard is shared.

This is one of 3 cottages in a cool historic triplex property. You will be in one of the "tiny cottages" at the back of the shared center courtyard. The interior of the cottage is your private space and the courtyard is shared with 2 other cottages at this Historic triplex.

Other things to note
I wanted to mention that Savannah has certain bugs which we can control to some extent with poison (which every hotel and vacation rental will use on perimeters) but guests still can see them, even if they’re slower and dying from walking across poison barriers. Specifically palmetto bugs are prolific here. If guests see one we do not issue any refunds due to seeing these.

Parking is free on the nearby streets. You cannot park in the Lane but you can unload right at your door and then park your car on Jones Street, using the side gate into the shared yard of this 3-cottage compound to access your back door! There are no meters in the 1 block radius so no permit is required for your parking. You will need to swap sides for street sweeping once per week (signs are posted saying which side is cleaned which night).

Events, holidays and stays during March & April may require 3 night minimums and/or have higher rates than the standard ones published.

This is a traditional vacation rental home, not a “bed and breakfast”. We do not provide food or drinks but we do provide basic cooking and serving utensils, a coffee maker, and dish soap. Downtown Savannah has a major supermarket (Kroger) and a 24 hour market (Parkers on Drayton) so there is no need to pack everything from home if shopping when you get here makes more sense.

What to bring with you:

A typical grocery run prior to arriving at your vacation home would include coffee, beer/wine, milk, eggs, butter, bread and any other basic groceries you would need for the meals you eat in the home.

When it comes to coffee, bring your own ground coffee. The carriage house has a 12-cup drip coffee maker. We do not typically provide coffee but if you find coffee in the carriage house please feel free to use it.

You should bring or buy your own napkins, laundry detergent, your own beach towels and beach gear, and your own cooler if you need one.

What we provide:

We provide toilet paper (2 extras per bathroom), liquid hand washing dish soap, bathroom soap, sheets on each bed, and at least one bath towel for each guest. We do not permit our towels to be taken out of the house which is why you must bring your own towels if you visit the beach.

If you find we have left seasonings, oil, dishwasher pellets, or any unopened food or drinks then of course feel free to use what is there. We occasionally leave items but just cannot promise them all the time.

Please also note that in Savannah, sugar ants can smell cookies, spilled sugar or syrup, or an open sugar container from a mile away and will find a way in through a windowsill or door frame. It can be somewhat like a cartoon picnic where they march in a line to find the food. To avoid this try to keep your snacks contained in air tight baggies, the refrigerator, or buy single serve packets and put the trash in the outdoor trash cans as soon as possible.

The following is standard Savannah Luxury Rentals information: We provide sheets, toilet paper and soap. If you prefer thick cushioned toilet paper bring it along but use it sparingly in our older plumbing and never flush "flushable" wipes or other products that are likely to cause a clog.

The SkyLoft is a 2nd floor studio (with stairs) accessed via the gravel lane behind our house with in-door garage parking. Featuring a queen bed, rain shower w/ a Rinnai tank-less water heater, Berkey water filter system, and private patio seating.

The enclosed parking is shared with Brian and Jen, we live in the main house with our two pups, Luna & Simon. We respect your privacy and you'l only see us on an occasional passing. We're happy to answer questions to help with your visit in Savannah.

Located a couple of blocks from restaurants and bars; Shuk, Treylor Park’s Pizza Party, Perc Coffee, Sweet Patricia’s, Taco y Tequila and Cotton & Rye.

We provide coffees, teas, plates, mugs, utensils, shampoo, soaps and towels. There is a small refrigerator and freezer, microwave, electric tea kettle, and a Berkey water filter system. There is not a TV.

SkyLoft is located in the Victorian neighborhood. We are two miles south from the east end of the Savannah River, a few blocks south from Forsyth Park where the free Dot shuttle picks up, and less than a mile north of the Starland District.

If you enjoy walking and seeing local architecture you’ll love walking from our place. We include a walking map of nearby coffee shops, restaurants, etc. We often walk to the river, out to eat, or for a stroll under the unique Savannah tree lined canopy. Savannah is easily walkable, which is truly part of the charm. If you prefer to drive, the garage makes it easy to park at the end of your day.

Guest access
Key pad entry is available for self check-in. You are welcome to check-in any time 3pm or later. The garage where you will park and the location of the carriage house is accessed via the lane behind our house.

Other things to note
We live about a block from the train. There is usually one train in the morning between 7am-9am and one in the afternoon/evening. Occasionally an extra train passes through. There is a sound machine upstairs that you can use. We want you to feel comfortable and at home. If there is anything extra we can provide for you, let us know. We have extra blankets, pillows, soaps, shampoos, towels, and a selection of teas and coffees. We often travel staying at AirBnB's and understand how important it is to have the extra's and a comfortable place to rest, relax and simply enjoy.

Located only two blocks away from Forsyth Park, this garage apartment/ mother-in-law suite offers comfort and ease for getting around the city. There are restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and grocery stores in very close proximity. The Savannah River is a little over 1 mile to the north. While there is both a queen size bed and pull-out couch, the space is ideal for solo adventurers and couples.

The space
This space is a newer construction with modern amenities (finished in 2015) but was designed to complement the main house (circa 1916). Reclaimed materials from the previous structure that stood at this location were used in the construction.
You will have access to the entire second floor of the garage (550 sq ft) and the back patio. The patio is shared with the main house.
