The space
This home was constructed in the board and batten style with lots of light and open space.
A farmhouse style bar height table gives a secondary place to sit for dining, homework, or preparing for the day ahead.
We provide a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and teas, along with a microwave and mini fridge.
2 built in sitting areas in the sun room allows for unwinding after your travels or extra sleeping areas.

We no longer allow pets. Unfortunately many past guests refused to keep animals off the furniture, and since soft surfaces hold allergens that may effect someone’s stay in the future, we’ve regrettably had to go to a no indoor pet policy.

Relax with the whole family or just a place for two at this peaceful place to stay. The Ponderosa Cabin was three different private rooms that can be used by an entire family or can be divided into quiet, romantic suites. Each room has their own private entrance and are stand alone rentals which rent independently. This particular unit has been named after the original lady of the home place, Mrs. Essie. It has been decorated with her taste in mind. Hope you enjoy!

Although this is a small efficiency cabin, the outdoor space is amazing. A large pond offers a tranquil atmosphere and a dock for fishing or just meditating. There is a fire pit on the property to enjoy on cool nights. We are in the process of installing an outdoor kitchen and entertainment area for guest to hang out and relax. As of now there is a grill, propane fire pit, sitting area, porch swing to just sit back and relax with others or by yourself.
Other things to note
Groceries and restaurants are just seven miles into town. Enjoy the town square where you can shop for antiques and other small shops, enjoy coffee or ice cream, stop in for a pizza, and so on. We are only 25 or so minutes from GSU campus! Fishing is available onsite. Hunting available at the Tuckahoe Wildlife Management only 15 miles.
We are close to everything hunting, fishing, GSU baseball or football games.

The downstairs of our Carriage House has been renovated into a guest house. We have a full bath and king sized bed ready for a quiet night's sleep. A few minutes walk to downtown Statesboro, we are just over a mile from GSU and East GA Hospital and 7 miles to Mill Creek’s Splash in The Boro.
We have cable TV & wireless internet.
