(By the way both Mark and Beth are actual colonels from their military service!) However, I would not recommend our room, the "Jacuzzi room"; because the jacuzzi/ bathroom is not in the room. You need to walk out of the room into the short hallway and then enter the "bathroom." This was somewhat awkward as was the fact that the bathroom to the room next to ours was connected to our room by a permanently locked adjoining door. All noises taking place there were easily heard and the light from that bathroom filtered into our room around the edges of the door (so we had noises and light all night). But let me restate: I highly recommend the Colonels because of the graciousness of the hosts and the lovely location! By the way, be sure to take a walk around the extensive property--there's a stable with horses and more . . ."

We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us a true getaway with nothing to worry about. Our Birds & Bees Suite is a generously sized upstairs bedroom with excellent views of the farm that includes private bathroom with quaint farmhouse shower, a superbly comfortable queen bed, free Wifi, 40 inch television, microwave, small fridge, and desk perfect for working remotely. We also have a roll away bed that can be included, suitable for children 8 years old and up. There is also an oversize stuffed chair in the room which could be used as a place to sleep in a pinch.

We are a favorite for animal and nature lovers! Staying with us also grants you time with our animals if you wish to interact with them - goats, chickens, donkeys, dogs, cats, parrots, rabbits, turkeys, and emus! You are welcome to enjoy the grounds, such as the porch with rocking chairs to watch the sunset, the patio to watch the sun rise as the songbirds sing, the firepit for some smores and stories after dark, as well as the common areas inside, like the living room, which holds our games cabinet full of board games and puzzles and our dining room that is furnished with a dining room set that is nearly 100 years old that has been in our family for 50 years.

Every night stay includes a home cooked farm-to-table locally sourced breakfast for each person who stays with us. We use eggs from our own happy chickens and the produce from our property first, then get as much as we can from other local farms if we don't produce it ourselves. Additional meals (such as home cooked dinners) may be arranged and purchased separately if you are interested. Just ask us, preferably prior to your arrival.

The space was built in the 1930s and has all the historic charm you could dream of. Large windows, original hardwood floors, antique fixtures mixed with modern updates. The kitchen features quartz countertops, gold finishes, functioning appliances, a coffee bar, and everything you should need to enjoy meals at home. The primary bedroom and bath is located on the main floor, and 3 additional bedrooms are upstairs along with the second full bathroom with a skylight, clawfoot soaking tub, and separate shower. Please keep in mind, the home is historically built and the staircase is steep while traveling up and down them. There is a large spacious front porch with rocking stairs, and a peaceful patio in the backyard surrounded by luscious landscaping. Truly a rare find, and SO close to campus! Lovely queen bedroom, upscale accommodations. Beautifully decorated room in tree-shaded neighborhood only 3 minutes from Classic Center! My house is new and very nicely furnished throughout. Gourmet kitchen, rocking chair porch, stone patio with BBQ grill.

Garden setting, newer construction, above garage apartment located in downtown Watkinsville. Take a morning walk down the sidewalk to local coffee shop and bakery, affordable or fancy dinner and lunch options available within two blocks. Our backyard is connected to a 6 acre wooded park.

Oconee County is the "ArtLand of Georgia." We are centrally located for OCAF events, arts and crafts, and antiques, a bicycler's paradise. 10 minute drive to Athens/UGA, 40 minutes to Lake Oconee.

The can accommodate 2 people in the main bedroom. There is an additional, under the eves, small room with a twin bed and an even tinier room with a 3/4 size bed (smaller than a twin bed). We have a pack and play available as well

Located in one of Athens' most charming, historic, and walkable neighborhoods, this newly built apartment is perfect for exploring the heart of the Classic City. A three-quarter mile walk takes you to downtown, stop at Creature Comforts, any of our amazing restaurants, or one of our many local coffee shops. On game day, just head through the Arch, past the victory bell, through the quad, where you land "between the hedges" at Sanford Stadium! And a stones throw from the Taylor Grady House.
