- "The property is large and new - very clean and everything has a feel of being quite new. I loved the location being halfway up Monterosso but the drive is not for the faint hearted being a classic Italian switchback road. The whole stay went very smoothly and I would recommend it without reservation." - "This is a modern, IKEA furnished villa. The grounds are immaculate, and setting provides a private, high level view of the lake and Verbania from a number of spots on the second floor. If someone has mobility issues, there are no handrails on any of the stone stairways leading up to the villa and none within the villa. The headboards in the bedrooms are not attached to the bed nor the wall and can easily fall onto the bed. The wifi does do work, and repeated contacts with the property manager during our week stay did not lead to attempts to fix the problem. Vacation stays today are often a combination of remote work and pleasure. Access to the internet is increasingly important for both. Upon arrival, we were told by the property manager that two of the large front doors were broken and did not work. In fact one of the doors would not close completely leaving a large gap at the top and side so insects entered the building. During our week stay, there was no attempt to have the doors fixed."

- "The view was great. The historical house was beautiful. Of course the furniture were old but they were still working. The kitchen wasn‘t the best but it was all right. To geht to the city you have to walk down the hill like 45 minutes. Getting back to the house was exhausting. A small car is in this town more comfortable. Suna is a small but charming lakeside town boasting a number of small shops and restaurants. It is possible to walk to the town in about 20 minutes. Please note that there isn't a boat stop in Suna so guests will need a car in order to get out and about during their stay. Alternatively, 10 minutes further on foot, guests will reach Pallanza where there is a boat stop as well as a number of additional restaurants and shops.

The area surrounding this luxury Lake Maggiore villa is absolutely beautiful and the property provides a perfect base to visit towns such as Arona, Pallanza and Stresa. It's also a great base to visit the Borromean Islands. Isola Bella is beautiful and it's worth a trip to see its beautiful gardens and palace as well as the famous white peacocks. Getting Around:
It is possible to walk down to Suna through the garden. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes. Once there you can access public transportation. However, we would strongly advise that guests hire a car during their stay.

This is luxury accommodation at its best. This luxury Lake Maggiore villa has been furnished not as a holiday rental but as a true 'second home' which the owners use regularly. We love the incredible 180 degree views as well as the stylish decor. We also love the pathway that leads through the garden to the lakeside. Please note that this villa is unsuitable for any children under 12 years old.

- "The property has a fabulous location and it very well fitted out. However some points which we were unaware of before our stay: only the downstairs bedroom, which I’d class as bedroom 3 had air con, no other part of the property had air con. The road leading to the property is single lane and twisty, encountering a vehicle coming the other way is a real problem. The property next door is being rebuilt , for the first 2 weekdays there was constant building noise, this was dealt with excellently by the property manager after I told her about it. The builders ceased work. The entrance to the property is very difficult and my sports car grounded every time I entered no matter how slow or careful I drove. The 3 double beds were only queen size. Other than that everything was as described. We would not choose it again due to the issues I’ve mentioned"
