Villa Rentals in Wyoming
Conveniently located villa with Scandinavian vibe and western features
Villa
Jackson, Wyoming, USA

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**

Whether you enter Sundown via its garage/mud room or its purple front door, you quickly realize that this three-bedroom home has personality. In West Jackson’s Indian Trails neighborhood, which is popular with local families, this split-half-level home is colorful, minimalist—wood walls give all the public spaces a Scandinavian vibe—efficiently laid out, full of natural light, chic, well-decorated and fun. Rather than a built-in Sub-Zero, the refrigerator here is a Big Chill (a modern appliance brand that makes retro designs). The sofa in the living room isn’t leather, but maroon velvet. The gas-burning fireplace isn’t set in a stacked stone surround, but is freestanding.

Sundown’s western half is dedicated to bedrooms. The master suite has a king-size bed, above which hangs a gorgeous piece of textile art. Still, as eye-catching as the textile art is, the star of the suite is the deep, freestanding copper bathtub. Also in the master bathroom is a generously sized walk-in tile shower and a double vanity.

The two other bedrooms here share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. One bedroom has three twin-size bunks and a loft with a play area and a fourth twin-size bed in it. The second bedroom has two twin beds, which can be converted to a king size bed, and a loft accessed by a built-in ladder with another twin-size bed in it. The shared bathroom has a dual vanity and a walk-in shower.

On Sundown’s lower level, a TV room has a large, overstuffed sofa in front of an oversize television and also two twin-size daybedsAlso on this floor is a laundry room with a stackable washer and dryer.

While the downstairs TV room is certainly meant for hanging out, it’s likely you’ll find yourself in the upstairs open kitchen/dining/living room more often. There’s the aforementioned red velvet sofa. Also, a built in dining table with more than ample seating . In the opposite corner of this space, a custom bench built beneath an east-facing window is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

The kitchen has a five-burner gas range and an oversize island. Between the kitchen area and the dining table is a door to an outside south-facing deck. Behind the freestanding fireplace, a door leads to a second deck. This deck has stairs down to the yard.

Indian Trails is a residential neighborhood close to bike paths, local schools, and grocery stores. Downtown Jackson is about three miles away; grocery stores are even closer. A short hike popular with locals, High School Butte, is in the neighborhood. Bike pathways connect Indian Trails to downtown Jackson (about a 10-15 minute ride), Teton Village (a 40-minute bike ride), Wilson (a 25-minute ride), and Grand Teton National Park (an all-day adventure).

Villa Rentals in Wyoming
Perfectly sited condo in downtown Jackson, urban living in Jackson Hole
Villa
Jackson, Wyoming, USA

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**

A contemporary outpost at the heart of downtown Jackson, a frontier town turned chic with locally-owned boutiques, lively restaurants and character-rich watering holes. Set above the central artery of Pearl Street, the two-bedroom apartment features a wraparound deck with views of the surrounding mountains. Located only three blocks away from Town Square, the loft allows guests to embrace the convenience and culture of downtown living while simultaneously secluding themselves in their alpine perch.

The living area anchors the apartment with its colorful mix of patterns and furnishings. A Pendleton blanket graces one wall, with windows opening up the others onto views of the butte. A gas fireplace connects the two expanses of glass. A tweed sofa faces a chalkboard coffee table and leather sling chair. A patchwork dhurrie rug lends texture, while flat-screen TVs add entertainment options. A deck beckons guests outside, with an enclave of chairs presiding over the cinema across the street. A teak dining table seats four for summer dinners outdoors.

Inside, dinner parties can overtake the rectangular dining table with its cowhide host seats and two benches. An eclectic crystal chandelier dangles above the table, and a sage green accent wall adds color.

The open kitchen features bamboo cabinets, dark granite countertops, a tile backsplash and stainless appliances.

Down the sage hallway, the guest bedroom boasts a pair of twin beds (convertible to a king) wrapped in denim duvets, as well as an ensuite bath with custom tilework and a sculptural sink.

The master bedroom offers chic accents like a distressed wood nightstand and stitched duvet. The ensuite bath includes a double granite vanity and a brick red-tile glass shower.

By nature of being at the heart of downtown Jackson, this Pearl at Jackson apartment offers both convenience and refuge (floating as it does above the streetscape). From below, the roofline of the complex looks like a ship’s masts; passerby wonder what fortunate guests get to sail so far above the fray, on par with the slopes.

Villa Rentals in Wyoming
Authentic, Western log cabin in heart of Jackson
Villa
Jackson, Wyoming, USA

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**

The Cabin is a lovely 1940s log home set into a hillside on the slopes of Snow King, the original ski mountain in downtown Jackson. Green lawns, wildflowers and woods apron The Cabin; towering shade trees keep it cool and secret in summer and brimming with sunlight in winter. Summer concerts at Snow King fill the house with music; the Alpine Slide is within walking distance, and the bustling boutiques, restaurants and galleries of Jackson are just down the hill.

The Cabin is fully and beautifully updated, with handcrafted furnishings and rich Great Camp décor. An atmosphere of elegance, warmth and welcome pervades the house. Thick log walls are adorned with vintage photos and glowing oil paintings. Old oak floors are spread with antique Navajo rugs; skylights flood the house with light.

The Cabin is built around a massive central column of fieldstone – a wood-burning hearth with two fireplace openings, each facing a different area of the open ground floor. The antique, iron-studded front door opens to the first of the fireplace openings. A second faces the living room, where handsome, stick-built armchairs with leather cushions are gathered before a coffee table and a flat screen TV. In the dining room, a long wood table stands in front of a wide window and French doors opening to the back yard.

The Cabin’s kitchen is light-filled and open. A moose-antler chandelier hangs from the vaulted wood ceiling; a center island serves as breakfast bar and food prep station. Top-flight appliances, leaded-glass cabinets, and a view of the lawn and leafy woods make the kitchen a delightful place to cook and converse. A few steps away is a walk-in pantry with a Dutch door, and adjacent, a regal grouping of 19th Century German antler chairs looks out through a wide picture window to downtown Jackson.

A half-flight of stairs leads from the living area up to the bedroom wing. There are three bedrooms on this level and a bunkroom at the top of the house; in all, ten people can sleep at The Cabin. The master bedroom has a grand king bed flanked by two nightstands, facing a pair of handsome chairs. The master bedroom has both a spacious, walk-in closet and a big antique dresser for clothes storage. In the master bath is a wonderful, walk-in shower tiled in stone, with an interior window for extra light.

Two guest bedrooms and a shared bathroom stand along a short hallway on this level. In the first guest room, spacious and sunlit, a king bed built of peeled logs faces a flat screen TV. The second bedroom is a true camp classic. A nightstand separates two vintage twin beds made in Cody, Wyoming in 1955, their headboards painted with Western scenes, and mattresses spread with Hudson Bay blankets.

The shared guest bathroom is a gem, with brilliant, garnet-hued walls, a soaking tub/shower combination and a wide, carved wood door. A sunny, cheerful mud room is reached through a door in the bathroom. Abundant storage space and an outside egress make the mud room perfect for stashing gear, unlacing boots, and storing skis, snowshoes or inner tubes for the next day’s adventure.

A staircase with rustic banisters climbs to the top of the house, where the bunkroom and “play” room await. The rustic bunk beds have four welcoming berths, piled with pillows. In the playroom, a deep couch and comfy armchairs surround a game table; a flat screen TV is mounted on the wall. Windows at both ends of the eaves let the mountain breezes sail right through, but the bunkroom also has an air conditioner, just in case.

The Cabin is tucked in to a hillside just above town, a rare and graceful retreat in Jackson Hole’s vibrant center. Everything is quickly and easily accessible from here – downtown Jackson, the rodeo, the Teton County Fair. And yet the property is a true sanctuary, screened with trees and a yard big enough for lawn games, outdoor dining, fireside ghost stories - even campouts, lit by lanterns and a million stars.

Guest Reviews:

The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. This home is currently undergoing updates to the kitchen and bathrooms, to be completed by end of 2022. These updates are not reflected in the photos or virtual tour.

Overlook -– a sweeping, airy, modern house of glass and wood -- sits high on Gros Ventre West, surveying ponds, grassy ranch land and the great, lofty span of the Tetons and the Snake River Range. The dramatic composition of mountains and valley is framed by a continuous wall of glass running along the front of the house, giving Overlook its name and its raison d’être. Groves of rustling aspens encircle the lawns and terraces.

Overlook is long and open, and every room is attentive to the incredible panorama outside. The house fills up with light by day; stars crowd the windows at night. A second-floor great room incorporates the living area, dining room and glass-walled kitchen into one bright, handsome space. A smooth leather couch and armchair face a wood-burning, fieldstone fireplace, a spare candelabra illuminates the dining room table. Painted wood walls, rich fabrics and peaked ceilings with exposed beams all add to Overlook’s atmosphere of peaceful simplicity and deep comfort.

The big master suite is on the main floor, just steps off the great room. The rustic, hewn-wood king size bed faces a striking, asymmetrical stone fireplace, and terraces line both sides of the room. An oriental rug in gorgeous russets, greens and golds is spread upon the wood floor, and grounds the spacious room in vivid color. In the master bath, windows surround the deep, jetted tub on all three sides, while skylights light up the space from overhead. The master bath also has its own sauna, which opens to the terrace, the trees and the cool mountain air.

An open, sunny staircase leads from the great room to the downstairs living area, where a cheery red wood stove, television and big sectional couch create a welcoming, tranquil refuge. Three guest bedrooms are on the lower level -- one, just off the sitting area, has a queen bed spread with a lovely checkered quilt, a door to the grounds and a private bath. The other two bedrooms stand on the opposite end of the house, and share a hallway and a bathroom between them. The first has a traditional brass, queen size bed flanked by reading lights, and a door that opens to the lawns and the hammock. The last is a charming bedroom, perfect for children, with two twin beds waiting side-by-side, spread with matching coverlets. This guest room, like the others, has a private entrance/egress to the outside world and all its untold adventures. Moose, elk and deer graze on the hillside among the aspens, just past Overlook’s deck.

Overlook is a delightful, warm, well-furnished house of manageable size, in a truly remarkable setting -- quiet, pastoral and secluded, and yet close to everything. It sits halfway between Jackson and Wilson, and is only 20 minutes from Grand Teton National Park. An afternoon spent on Overlook’s wide hammock, or snowshoeing along the butte with the staggering mountain ranges spread out in all their glory, or dining with family by the blazing fire are all sure-fire ways to reset one’s overlook on life.

- "Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for us - big enough for people to have quiet time alone, but cozy enough for a great week of family fun. Upon arrival we were greeted with gifts for the kids, maps and pages of Jackson know-how, and a spotless, clean and well-equipped home. Reynolds met us and made sure we were comfortable with the home and how to operate things. That first night CCG brought over spiced cider (which we promptly spiked) and we settled right in - it was a very thoughtful way to begin the holiday. All in all - that would be the word I would use to describe the CCG approach; thoughtful - and highly appreciated! "

Villa Rentals in Wyoming
Mountain-modern home at the base of Jackson Hole
House
Teton Village, Wyoming, USA

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**

Fish Creek Lodge 2 is a beautiful private home in the Shooting Star Development, bordered by a laughing creek and slender aspens. Fish Creek Lodge 2 is an easy walk to the nightlife and activities of Teton Village. Paragliders land nearby in soaring silence, vivid as butterflies; elks bugle out on the grasslands. It is truly a magical setting.

Fish Creek Lodge 2’s traditional weathered wood siding, shingled roof, and long boardwalk porch echo Wyoming architectural traditions. Inside, the rustic and the modern elements happily mix: rough cut timbers and textured walls, meet streamlined upholstered furniture, soft graphic rugs. In the great room, a gathering of leather armchairs and a canvas sofa face the big, wood-burning stone fireplace, overhung by a tiered iron chandelier; But the show-stealer is the massive, 30’ floor-to-ceiling picture window framing the glorious panorama outside, filled to the brim with sky and mountains.

The dining area and kitchen share this big open space as well, where the crackling fire and whopping view are visible from every corner. A flat screen television is mounted above the fireplace, which is concealed behind folding wood panels when not in use. Clever standing lamps give the illusion of heavy chains suspended from feather-weight lampshades.

The kitchen is charming with its combination of western rusticity and gleaming, high-end appliances. Massive rafters frame the space; classic barn lights illuminate a leather-bracketed granite island and weathered wood cabinets; the handsome Wolff range has a quilted steel backsplash and a pot filler. At the other end of the room, just behind the dining table, two sets of French doors lead out to the great stone terrace, where a hot tub, Adirondack chairs, a dining table and a gas grill bask under the might of the Tetons.

The first floor has a spot for everything: besides the kitchen, dining and living areas, there is a spacious laundry room, powder room, a space just for storing outdoor gear, and a guest room with a king bed and en suite bath.

On the second floor, the grand master bedroom offers a gas fireplace and a breathtaking prospect from the four-poster bed; you’ll want to take your time getting up in the morning, watching sunlight frame the Gros Ventre Range while the fire burns peacefully. An alcove opens to a walk-in closet and to the master bath, exposing an airy, wood-paneled room with a soaking tub, glass walled shower, double sinks and a private water closet.

Just down from the second floor landing is a cozy, four-berth bunkroom. Classic wool blankets warm the beds; drawers built into the bottom bunks give ample space for clothes storage. The second-floor media room has a long, enticing sectional, which can easily convert to a king size bed for guests, if needed. Cowhide ottomans and Wild West art harkens to the adventures outside; and a big barn door can slide across the entrance for guests’ privacy.

Outside on the terrace, the big stone hearth is the place for cocktails, hearty appetizers and making plans for the next day’s pursuits. Jackson Hole’s fabulous bike paths runs nearby, offering a combustion-free passport to almost every site in the valley, from downtown Jackson to the gates of Grand Teton National Park. Shooting Star provides a ski shuttle that will deliver you and your gear from Fish Creek Lodge 2 to the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort with a simple phone call. Or, if you’re feeling extra adventurous, The Clear Creek Group would be happy to set up a tandem paragliding session. Make sure friends and family in Fish Creek Lodge 2 are looking out the huge Great Room window to watch you soar by!

Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Fish Creek Lodge 2. The home was beautifully furnished, luxurious and comfortable. It was completely ready for our arrival and even stocked with champagne and a birthday cake since this was my celebration week. The Clear Creek group was both proactive and responsive and everyone there was pleasant to work with. We enjoyed being close to the Moose entrance of the Grand Tetons Park and our ride on the Aerial Tram. The best thing about our rental, however, were the papa, mama and baby moose in our back yard the first morning of our stay! "

Villa Rentals in Wyoming
Ultimate Urban Living in Downtown Jackson Hole
House
Jackson, Wyoming, USA

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**

**Additional Cleaning Fees May Apply**

Brand new to the portfolio as of December 2018, this contemporary two-suite Pied à Terre in downtown Jackson is as close as you can get to urban living in Wyoming. The Town Square, which is the valley’s central dining and shopping area, is just two blocks away. Walk to locals' favorite Persephone Bakery and Café for coffee, and arguably the best croissants outside of Paris, every morning. At night, walk to drinks or dinner, options range from casual to fine dining. Some of our favorites include Bin 22, Snake River Grill, Trio, Local or Roadhouse Brewing Company. You can also walk to the movie theater, more than 30 art galleries, or show at the Center for the Arts. In summer, walk to the farmers’ market or the Town Square Shootout. The former brings together more than two-dozen local farmers and producers selling fresh, organic produce, cheese, flowers, and meat. The latter is the longest-running staged shootout in the country and starts at 6 p.m. every night (except Sunday) between Memorial Day and Labor Day on the Town Square.

But, because this is urban living Wyoming-style, it’s not just restaurants and shopping that are nearby. Hiking, biking, and skiing are also a short stroll away, while fishing on the Snake River is easily accessible. From the open living area in the residence, a wall of picture windows frame Snow King Mountain. Known locally as the “Town Hill,” Snow King was the first ski resort in Wyoming when it opened in 1938. Today it has hiking and biking trails, a scenic chairlift, 400 acres of terrain, a year-round mountain coaster, a winter tubing park, and the valley’s only night skiing.

The interior and amenities of Pied à Terre on Pear match its convenient location. The thoughtfully designed complex includes heated, underground parking, a rustic wood paneled elevator, and lovely public spaces featuring reclaimed barn wood floors and stunning nature photography.

Stepping into this residence, the first thing you notice is the abundance of natural light. This is thanks to the same windows that frame Snow King, which are south facing and, even in winter, warm the space.

From the front door, where there’s a coat closest and built-in bench, the layout pulls you into the spacious main living area, which is designed for entertaining. A kitchen island with bar stools is near a glass-front gas fireplace; if there’s a better place to enjoy a quiet, intimate breakfast or evening cocktail, we’ve yet to discover it. For larger gatherings, use this entire space: the kitchen, island, a dining table that seats 8, fireplace, over sized couch, and multiple armchairs are all open to each other. There is a powder room (which includes a shower) adjacent to this open concept living area.

When you are ready to retire for the evening, the cozy two bedroom suites await. The master suite has a king bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, deep soaking tub, separate WC, and a double vanity. One wall of the suite is dedicated to closet space. Windows look to the west.

The second suite has two twin beds (which can also convert to a king) and a combined tub/shower. Both bedroom suites have new, plush carpeting.

The well appointed kitchen features a 4-burner Jenn-Air gas range, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and Thermador dishwasher. There is also a spacious laundry room, where there is a side-by-side washer and dryer and plenty of counter space.

As always, The Clear Creek Concierge Team is here to help you plan a custom Jackson experience.

Villa Rentals in Wyoming
Modern Penthouse in Downtown Jackson, Urban Living at its Best
House
Jackson, Wyoming, USA

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**

This 1,325-square-foot, two-bedroom penthouse located in downtown Jackson offers views of surrounding buttes and the Center for the Arts. This unit provides in-town living with the comfort and privacy of a fourth floor unit.

Penthouse on Glenwood 407 is one of nine of the newest condos built in downtown Jackson, completed in summer 2018. Its location is less than one block from the Center for the Arts and three blocks from several iconic Jackson establishments, including the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, the historic Wort Hotel, and Jackson Hole Playhouse. All of downtown Jackson’s restaurants are within walking distance, including Snake River Grill, Persephone Bakery, and The Kitchen. Also, within walking distance is the elk antler-arched Town Square and Snow King Mountain. The latter has 400 acres of ski-able terrain and a tubing park in winter and miles of hiking and biking trails in the summer. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the valley’s destination ski and summer resort is about a 25 minute drive or bus ride. Across the street is Vertical Harvest, a four-story greenhouse which grows 100,000 pounds of tomatoes and greens used in most local restaurants, we recommend a tour of this architectural wonder.

The kitchen, living, and dining areas are open to each other. A dining table seats four, while the stone-topped kitchen island has seats for three. The kitchen has Jenn-Air appliances, including a gas range and oven. An overstuffed sofa in the living room faces a gas-burning fireplace and folds out into a sleeper sofa.

Adjacent to the living room is a large hall closet, laundry room, and full bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and shares the full bathroom in the hall. The master suite is past the guest bedroom. Here there’s a king-size bed and a comfortable sitting area. The oversize master bathroom has a walk-in shower with dual shower heads, a double vanity, and a deep soaking tub.

Rare for a Jackson Hole home is that Penthouse on Glenwood 407 has air conditioning throughout.

While the restaurants, entertainment, and shopping of downtown Jackson are a short walk from this penthouse, that doesn’t mean the wild spaces Jackson Hole is famous for are difficult to get to. The southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park is a 20-minute drive. Cache Creek, a hiking, Nordic ski, and biking area beloved by locals, is a 5-minute drive. Park at the main Cache Creek trail head and it’s only a 15-minute hike before you’re in designated wilderness. Cache Creek is one of the best places to spot moose in the valley. Guests can also bring or rent bikes and access the paved biking trails located throughout the town and connect to Teton Village and Grand Teton National Park. Once your lodging is secured, a member of The Clear Creek Group Concierge team will work with you to build an itinerary for your visit to Jackson Hole!

- "The condo was everything they advertised. Great location. Nice views from the large outside deck. And easy to walk to all the spots in downtown. We rode mountain bikes each day and found the location perfect for everything we wanted to do. The condo was also clean, comfortable, and in perfect working condition." - "Nice place, but booking on VRBO, the property manager does not send any info through VRBO or payment, which is confusing. The check in instructions were emailed with some instructions in an email and some in attachments which aren’t easy for guest traveling looking at things in a phone. The beds were also spring, and all our group had issues with how uncomfortable the beds are. Recommend buying Amazon brand $400 foam mattesses. I use these in all my rentals and guest rave about them. Very cost effective. Great stay overall - just need some attention to important details for a new property. Will be top notch once addressed"

Shooting Star Cabin 1 is a beauty of a Jackson Hole vacation rental: substantial, welcoming and full of light, its rustic barn board siding and log-and-mortar walls harking back to old Wyoming while inside all is comfort and joy, with luxury appliances and a state-of-the-art sound system. The peaked, shingled roofline echoes the mountains that surge against the sky for miles upon miles; velvet lawn and native plantings apron the property. When the tall mullioned windows are open, Cabin 1 fills up with sweet, dry mountain air.

The front door swings open to the cabin-like foyer; steps beyond, creamy walls and bleached wood amplify the wonderful natural light of Cabin 1. The house seems to float on sunlight. An airy, wide open Great Room crowns the top of the house, and vast wilderness vistas roll away from every window. The kitchen, dining and living areas share this big, bright space, while a distributed audio system saturates the room with music, movie soundtracks, or the morning news - whatever you choose. The long wood dining table, overhung by a circular chandelier with Edison bulbs, stands between the fire lit living room and the luxury kitchen. It is a wonderful place to celebrate, especially when snow is falling silently outside the windows. A magic feeling of expectation for the new day begins to gather: a world of white, fresh painted.

In the kitchen, a center island with prep sink is bracketed by a fabulous, six-burner Wolf range at one end and a counter/breakfast bar at the other. The kitchen has a walk-in pantry, a huge refrigeration system and a wine cooler. The Great Room is the heart of the house; wrapped in windows and anchored by a wood-burning fireplace set in a wall of Wyoming stone. A huge flat screen TV is mounted above the fireplace; below is a wide stone ledge that radiates warmth. Welcoming sofas and armchairs are grouped around a wide coffee table; firelight dances over the walls.

Like the Great Room, the master bedroom sits at the top of the house, beams spanning the high ceiling. Huge picture windows frame the Tetons. The soft, snowy king bed faces a wide stone fireplace – gas fired – and a big flat screen TV above it. A pair of chairs wait in an alcove, the perfect quiet place for morning coffee, and the floor is carpeted in soft ivory wool. A walk-in closet offers ample clothes storage. Just off the master bedroom is the sumptuous master bath, paneled in painted wood. There are double sinks, a soaking tub, a separate shower roomy enough for two, and a water closet - not to mention grandstanding views of the valley.

The ground floor of Cabin 1 has a delightful, four-berth bunkroom where the young at heart will feel very much at home. A dresser and drawers built in beneath the beds provide plenty of space for unpacking. Next door is an airy, deeply comfortable guest room with an upholstered queen bed and a private bath. And, at the end of the house, a second master – rounding out the full complement of bedrooms for this classic Wyoming luxury rental home.

Windows in the downstairs master look out in all directions; from the king size bed you can gaze straight up the ski slopes and plot out the next day’s routes. A handsome gas fireplace and a flat screen TV face the bed, and a velvet armchair accompanied by a brass reading lamp stands beside another window. This big, inviting bedroom has a private bath as well, with double sinks and a bath/shower combination.

Cabin 1 sits comfortably amongst pines and native grasses. The wide stone terrace is the happiest of blessings in the warm months, with its staggering panorama of ranchland, Tetons and the majestic Snake River Range. Here you can nap or read on the outdoor couch, soak in the hot tub, track the cherry-red tram as it soars up and down the mountainside, cook locally raised beef on the gas grill and tip your glass to the star spangled sky.

Western charm, sweeping Teton views, 20 acres to explore
Villa

***Property may be rented once in any 31 day period.***

Home on the Range is a magnificent retreat in a truly magnificent location: twenty spectacular private acres at the base of The West Gros Ventre Butte, aproned by the sweeping grasslands of the historic Walton Ranch. The Tetons rise, high and wild, above the range like giant castles of stone and snow; herds of cattle browse contentedly below. Home on the Range is a heaven on earth, halfway between Jackson and Teton Village, solitary in its gorgeous wilderness setting and yet just a short drive from all that Jackson Hole has to offer.

A long, private drive descends Gros Ventre Butte to the house. A velvety lawn, gardens and stands of aspen and pine surround the home; a wide deck runs along its entire West and North sides, surveying the staggering views.

Inside, all is comfort. Big, open rooms flow into each other, brimming with light. Massive, tree trunk pillars support peaked, wood ceilings, huge picture windows frame the ever-changing panorama outside. The kitchen is pure pleasure. A six-burner range is set in an arched, tiled alcove; mica pendant lamps shed golden light onto the stone topped island, sink and work space. The study, with its handsome leather couches, built-in desk, flat screen TV, and substantial fireplace is the place for movies, reading, or work next to the crackling fire.

The great room’s soaring ceiling and sky-high windows make the space seem all light and air, as if one were, in fact, outside. A beautiful, river rock fireplace anchors the great room, flanked by two different seating areas – while across the space a bar made of the same rounded stones offers a place to pour, taste and converse. Steps lead up to a second dining and TV room – the perfect place for family pizza night. A powder room is just off the kitchen.

- "OUTSTANDING" - "Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented many beautiful homes but this was one of the best. The Clear Creek Group did a very professional job of explaining the home and offering any concierge services we wanted. The house was much bigger than we expected from the photos and frankly more impressive than the photos. The location was perfect between the ski mountain and the town and it was nicely furnished and not tired. The wood for the fire was great and dry and the spa worked well etc. My two suggestions are that all the cutting knives are very dull and frankly hard to work with and some larger cutting boards and one to carve a roast on which can collect juices would be helpful. Also, the frying pans/skillets don't work well and need to be replaced as all the teflon is long gone. Finally there were no spatula's that worked for pancakes and eggs. These are minor items that would really improve the cooking. All in all the house was great and we would visit again."
