The space
The space features a plush down Cloud couch, a large flat-screen TV, and a cozy fireplace making it the perfect place to sink in, put up your feet and relax. The kitchenette is equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and a small dining nook. Enjoy complimentary snacks, fruit and coffee. The bedroom features a queen sized bed with memory foam top, windows and plenty of storage. The bathroom is bright and contemporary with a rainfall shower and high-end toiletries provided for your convenience. Outside, there is a charming patio area, complete with outdoor seating making it the perfect place to enjoy a sunlit morning.

The guest suite is attached to the house at 701 Kings Mill Road in Chapel Hill. The owners have two dogs and live on property. The one bedroom suite is perfect for two people but will accommodate up to four on the couches which are the size of twin sized beds. Extra blankets and sheets are provided.

We are UNC alum who love Chapel Hill and know that you will love this charming 3-bedroom apartment that is within walking distance of any UNC landmark. The apartment is just a hop, skip, and jump from Pantana Bobs, Med Deli, 411 West, Carolina Brewery, Panera, and Target. Also, the apartment is less than a mile from Weaver Street market in Carrboro in one direction and TOPO, He’s Not Here, and the Carolina Coffee Shop in the other direction. A little farther, but a beautiful walk through campus takes you to the iconic Old Well, UNC Student Stores, the Pit, Kenan Stadium, The Dean Smith Center, and UNC Hospitals.

Parking is on-site, but there is only ONE PARKING SPOT for the apartment. On weekday evenings after 5 pm you may pay to park across the street at the UNC IT Services building, or for no cost on Saturdays and Sundays. EXCEPTION— home football game days when there is no parking in university lots without a pass.

Walk up the stairs or take the elevator to the 3rd-floor apartment with a full kitchen and beautiful rooftop patio for reading, catching up with friends, or just enjoying the Carolina blue skies.

This 600 square foot one bedroom apartment is located on a wooded acre only 2 miles from Weaver Street Market(The center of Carrboro). It is four miles from UNC campus and there are bike lanes and trails to get you there. It is also two blocks from one bus and four from another that will take you into Carrboro and Chapel Hill. Chapel Hill/Carrboro offers free buses!

The property is a 90 year old Piedmont forest and gives you feeling of being in the woods, even though you are in the middle of Carrboro. Hardwood floors and a roomy open floor plan makes this a comfortable place to relax. Both the kitchen/Living Room area and the Bedroom/Bath/Closest are about 300 sq. ft each!

- "Good stay at this property." - "Well when we showed up the place hadn’t been cleaned but I emailed the guy and he had it cleaned the next day. Some of the towels had hair on them but we had enough that we threw them in the hamper. Also one of my cars got towed in the parking lot because the tag had expired and forgot to put on new sticker. We had to pay $250 to get the car back. That makes no sense. No warning or anything just gone the next morning. I will say that the communication was great between the owner and myself."

This location is a 2BR apartment on the first level of our home. It features dedicated off-street parking, independent entrance, access to our back and front yard, super fast WiFi, and a select collection of LPs and books for you to enjoy during your stay.

We are a ten-minute walk from the Dean E. Smith Center (basketball), a fifteen-minute walk from Kenan Memorial Stadium (football) and UNC's world-class hospital, twenty-minutes from the Old Well (the center of UNC's campus), and twenty-five minutes from Franklin Street (the main artery of Chapel Hill). We're also less than a five-minute walk from North Carolina Botanical Gardens on one end of our neighborhood and a fifteen-minute walk from Merritt's Pasture on the opposite end.

The apartment features just about every streaming platform you could want, along with a Peloton bike with flat pedals and toe cages (IE: no need to bring your clipless shoes). We'll also provide a yoga mat and blocks for you to loosen up.

Our water heater is outfitted with a Grundfos pump, meaning you get piping hot water almost instantly.

In the front of our home, we've built a 1/4-mile mountain bike trail that features six jumps, two berms, and a sick transition! Users assume ALL risk that comes with riding the trail.

Speaking of mountain biking, we're less than a ten-minute bike ride (three minutes by car) from the Outdoor Education Center, which boast some of the best trails in town. Drive another ten minutes to the other side of town and you'll find Carolina North Forest, which offers seemingly endless trails for all levels of riding.

Our house also has a whole-home generator, meaning you'll never, ever lose power during your stay.

The mid-century kitchen is fully functional and the cabinets will be stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy a meal (except the food part).

Our carport feature a Chargepoint Level 2 electric car charger to juice your ride back up. We don't plan on being home when we rent the apartment out but if we are, just let us know if you need a charge and we'll be happy to move our car.

Outside, you'll find a pair of rocking chairs, a café two-top, and an outdoor television loaded with all of the apps you'll find inside.

Peaceful room with kitchenette in neighborhood full of nature. Short walk to the free bus line which is a great way to get to UNC or to downtown Chapel Hill or Carrboro. Walk into Carrboro in 20 minutes. studio does not have a full kitchen, but a cute kitchenette which includes a freezer and fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, French press, dishes, cooking gear. 1 sink in the bathroom. 1st month must be rented on Airbnb. After that, I offer month-to-month at $1100 a month for 3 + months

The space
The studio is close to UNC, Carrboro, and South Durham. It is an excellent home for UNC researchers, students and those working at UNC hospitals. It is on two main bus lines which can be used to access campus, the UNC hospitals and the stadium, but best of all there are birds and trees all around. There is a peaceful neighborhood creek to relax by. If you don’t mind a walk with a couple steep hills, you can walk to the Carrboro farmers market in about 20 minutes. Many restaurants deliver here as well. Within a short walk is a calm pond and university lake. Bike lanes to campus are also nearby as well as a covered area to charge an electric bike.

Guest access
A family lives in the upstairs section of the house. The studio is completely separate with its own private entrave and pathway. We are in the process of landscaping the area outside of the studio. It will have privacy screening
Holly bushes and a bistro set to enjoy time under the dogwood tree.

Other things to note
The studio does not have a full kitchen. The only sink is in the bathroom. The kitchenette is sufficient to fix simple meals though. Two dogs and children live on the premises so you can expect some child/pet related noise.

NOTE: There is sound proofing! But, the apt is on the first floor of our family home, so some "sounds of life" from the main house may be heard (e.g., the buzzer from the laundry, garage opening/closing)

The apt is located behind the garage on the first floor of our split level. The (private) entrance to the apt can be accessed by following the lights to the left of the garage towards the forest and you’ll find the door on the guest patio

The BR has 1 full, 1 twin bed; LR has a sofa bed. Full bathroom with tub and good water pressure. Small range, medium sized refrigerator, and microwave. No dishwasher. TV has Roku so guests can do a timed logon to catch their favorites, and all logins will be erased on your check-out day

Walking distance from farmers market, coffee shops, gym, restaurants and and all downtown Carrboro has to offer. Biking distance to UNC - free bus service steps away to take you to Campus or anywhere in neighboring Chapel Hill.

Other things to note
This is a mixed community that includes people who work from home, retirees, young families, as well as UNC students. Any guest must be respectful of neighbors. Not suitable for parties. But socializing in shared areas, especially by the pool is common.

Come stay in one of the best places in downtown Carrboro! A less than five minute walk will get you to Weaver Street Market and all the shops, restaurants, and bars downtown. This studio apartment is part of a triplex that shares a large yard with 2 other units. You'll get to enjoy lots of natural light, original hardwood floors and a tiny kitchen that will meet all of your needs! Way more spacious than a hotel room, and as close to downtown as you can get.

The space
This is a well appointed 350 square foot Studio with all the amenities of a luxury hotel room plus kitchen. There is a large porch and shared laundry as well.

The yard is fully fenced in. The yard and back deck area are shared with another Airbnb.

You'll have access to a washer and dryer in a shared laundry area between the main house and apartment.

The studio is part of a triplex in a historic Carrboro home that overlooks the back porch and yard with large oak trees.

(Being in the middle of downtown has countless perks, but can some with additional street noise. Not to worry, we do supply a sound machine and earplugs.)

Access to abundant, free parking, an on-site, coin-operated mini laundromat that contains 3 washers/3 dryers, and a seasonally operated shared apartment complex pool.

This is an apartment complex where people live and you may occasionally hear them; therefore, we cannot allow parties/loud gatherings that would disturb others. Thank you in advance for being neighborly.

This is a non-smoking unit so for your own safety and the safety of others, absolutely no burning of candles or incense and please no smoking of any kind.

Something to note is that the faucet is stuck on shower mode only. The plumbing does not allow the water to completely reroute to the faucet in order to fill the tub for baths.

If left on just flip the light switch off labeled “Bulb Cam” right side of the inside front door upon arrival.

Walk inside to a small downstairs foyer with a coat rack and space for your shoes. The washer/dryer is also downstairs to keep the noise away from the living area.

Walk upstairs into the living and kitchen area with all new furniture and fixtures. You’ll notice that there is no door at the top of the stairs, which is one example of why we do not accept young children. The living area seats five comfortably, however only four may sleep at Stone’s Throw.

Read, nap, work, watch cable or Apple TV (if you are so equipped) in the living area.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with marble countertops and smaller European appliances. Basic spices and other essentials are stocked.

The shower/bath is large enough for a relaxing soak, and has a large shower head. Press the small square outline on the lower right side of the mirror and the white backlight turns on, again and the blue light turns on, as shown in the picture.

The master bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed, reading lights, USB ports on both nightstands, and a walk in closet. The bed is better than hotel luxury.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, a small desk and storage area, also with reading lights and USB ports.

Full access to the apartment and porch.

This quiet residential road is a Stone's Throw from Open Eye Cafe and 1 block south of Main Street and Old Greensboro, Carrboro's city center. Ideally located, restaurants, bars, groceries, pharmacies, the Cat's Cradle and Weaver Street Market are within a two block stroll of Stone's Throw. Walk to the Saturday Farmer's Market, food trucks, casual and fine dining. Connect to the bike path one block away. Catch a free city bus just steps from the front porch.

Depending upon your plans, you may or may not need a car. Walking, biking and the free bus system are how a lot of locals get around in Carrboro and downtown Chapel Hill. Lyft and Uber are readily available.

You have two reserved parking spaces, which is a definite plus in this area.

There are stairs from the downstairs foyer to the full apartment. If you are unsure on stairs, please note that the treads may feel short and the rise may feel steep.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with marble countertops and smaller European appliances. Basic spices and other essentials are stocked.

The shower/bath is large enough for a relaxing soak, and has a large shower head. Press the small square outline on the lower right side of the mirror and the white backlight turns on, again and the blue light turns on, as shown in the picture.

The master bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed, reading lights, USB ports on both nightstands, and a walk in closet. The bed is better than hotel luxury.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, a small desk and storage area, also with reading lights and USB ports.

There are stairs from the downstairs foyer to the full apartment. If you are unsure on stairs, please note that the treads may feel short and the rise may feel steep.
