The McCauley House was built in 1920 as a single family home. From what we can tell the McCauley Family owned it for nearly 100 years and at some point in time they did a conversion to a 4-plex apartment building. We bought the building in 2022 and have worked hard to restore every room. in this apartment you will find 2 original fireplaces, 11' Ceilings and all of the modern amenities that you would expect to include a King Bed, Fully Stocked Kitchen and Large Soaking Tub. The apartment features High Speed Internet with an access point for ethernet and Smart TV's in both the living room and the bedroom.
The listing is made for 2 but we understand you may have children or a guest. Please register all additional children/guest and we are able to accommodate with an air mattress or pack and play if needed.

Burlington City Park has one of the final Denzel Carousels. Ours has been fully restored and amazing. There is also a small park with rides and walking trails.
Haw River Trail
The Haw River Trail is currently open to the public are four recreational parks, 20 miles of hiking trails, approximately 40 miles of paddle trail, and 14 paddle accesses extending through Alamance County from Guilford County to the Alamance County-Orange County line.

- "We stayed 2 nights in apt B. This home is in a location close to so many things, very close to downtown. The property was just as listed. It has large, open spaces in bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The bathroom was nice and larger than many. There was a bench and a cart that sits next to the sink, to hold toiletries and curling irons, etc. This is not in the photos, and we found it very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the curtains allowed us to have it good and dark. We appreciated a private parking lot just for guests. There were several washer/dryer units available for use. The doors all had touch pads for unlocking and it was good to be key-free. Gayla was responsive and helpful, a great host! We would recommend this stay."

- "Very nice and clean will definitely use again . Loved my stay❤️" - "We loved the decor! The pillow were very comfortable, the bed was good as well. Loved the water pressure in the shower and how fast it got hot. They were a little sparce on some kitchen items. No tea kettle and no pepper. But otherwise we were able to make our breakfasts just fine. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and the house is on a main road so its loud, but that's not a deal breaker for us. It was convenient in that the places we went to were all within 15-20 minutes. Check out downtown Graham when staying here. It's quaint and there are some great restaurants. We enjoyed out stay and would recommend it to others."

It is a basement apartment so we could hear people walking above us at times but wasn’t an issue for us. The apartment is small but very cute. Centrally located for my purposes and was able to walk and run in the Burlington Arboretum and city park right from the apartment. Welcome to our charming ground-floor unit in a renovated triplex, just steps from Arboretum Park. Located in Burlington’s historic district, this family and pet-friendly retreat features vibrant décor, a covered porch, and a spacious yard with a BBQ grill and firepit. When facing the home there is a sidewalk to the right of the home. Take the sidewalk, until you reach some steps. Go down the steps and you will see a small gate door leading to the entrance. You will see a pink door with the lockbox attached.

From what we can tell the McCauley Family owned it for nearly 100 years and at some point in time they did a conversion to a 4-plex apartment building. We bought the building in 2022 and have worked hard to restore every room. in this apartment you will find 2 original fireplaces, 11' Ceilings and all of the modern amenities that you would expect to include a King Bed, Fully Stocked Kitchen and Large Soaking Tub. The apartment features High Speed Internet with an access point for ethernet and Smart TV's in both the living room and the bedroom.
The listing is made for 2 but we understand you may have children or a guest. Please register all additional children/guest and we are able to accommodate with an air mattress or pack and play if needed.

The chef’s kitchen is small but fully equipped with a 5-burner gas stove with griddle, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water and icemaker, and microwave. All appliances are brand new! The new bathroom boasts a stunning design with all new tile and fixtures, but I kept and re-glazed the tub because it is huge and maintains heat for a luxurious soak. The living room/dining room combo has everything you need to relax while providing enough space to visit with friends or do some yoga to start your day. The bedroom is incredibly spacious with a plush queen bed (with handmade quilt by my mom!), cozy reading nook with a super comfy vintage Bob Timberlake chair, and a large desk and office chair situated in the corner near the window perfect for working on your laptop. And there is a super convenient laundry center tucked away but ready for use so you can pack fresh clean clothes for your return trip.
The apartment is completely separated from the other units in the triplex. Separate entrances; only the front porch and parking pad are shared. Linens, dishes, toiletries, and books are provided.
