From this hallway you enter into the spacious living room that has a large desk 14 feet across. There also is a futon and a footstool. The futon can serve as a full size bed. The living room has a bay window giving plenty light and a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise. From the hallway you can enter the bedroom which has a 14 feet high ceiling. There is a king size bed, a make-up desk, two side tables and a rack to hang clothes. There also is a book case loaded with National Geography magazines, some going back to 1950. Facing the bed there is a door on the left that leads to the kitchen. This kitchen is fully operational and equipped. In the kitchen is a back door to the side yard. Also, the kitchen can be accessed through the living room. When standing facing the bed there is a hallway on the right giving access to the bathroom. This bathroom also has a claw foot tub with a hand shower. Also has a wash basin. In part the floors are hard pine from the early 1800's and oak from the early 1900's.

- "First of all, this place is HUGE! Very spacious, open floorplan, private bathroom and also extra guest bathroom. Plenty of extra room to bring an air mattress or sleep on the HUGE PLUSH LEATHER couch. Netflix available to stream as well as other platforms. We enjoyed the uno cards. We did not need the kitchen other than coffee, but it was well stocked. Huge glass shower and primary bathroom. The bed is queen size, so if you have a tall fella like I do, you may need to consider a hotel. But if you can make this work, I would stay here versus the local hotels. Some traffic above your head late at night, but nothing a noise machine can't handle. Also, you are in a basement, you could sleep all day! So nice and dark. We are friends with the watch seller above the property, so we were lucky enough to have a personal guide to take us to the "local" spots. Parking is easy, entry is straight forward. I will be back!"

Our space is just 2.5 miles to the historic Newnan Square (boasting numerous eateries and boutiques), 5 miles to Cancer Treatment Center, 1.7 miles to Ashley Park (Newnan’s outdoor shopping center) and 30 minutes to Peachtree City or Senoia. During summer months, expect to see numerous hummingbirds who love to eat local! This is a private apartment above our main home. At times, you may hear noise from below as we work and live from the main home.

Suite #1 is on the right side of the building. The private entrance to the suite is a front room, sun-room, which is a small hall way with two chairs that serve as a sitting area. The room is airy and light. From there you walk into the living room that has comfortable furniture, plants, and a baby-grand piano. From there you walk into the bedroom by way of a little hallway which has a refrigerator and a micro-wave. The bedroom has a desk from which to work, a large bed that came from Denmark and was hand made in 1928. The bed is comfortable and soft. There is a tall window that gives the opportunity to watch a grand sunset. Off the left side of the bedroom is a bathroom with a claw tub and a hand shower. There is also a wash basin. The ceilings in the bedroom and living room are 14 feet high and the floors are the original hard pine floors from the early 1800 s.

- "The stay was suspect from the start. There was no communication with the host at all until after I had already gotten access to the property by another individual staying at a property adjacent. I was a little skeptical, but the family staying in the large lake house stated that they were able to reach the host and could let me in. I did not have a back up option & with no way to contact the host directly, I really had not choice but to trust it and stay.There was no communication with the host until later into my stay. The host responded and stated in the message that I would receive details 2 hours prior to check in. This was after I was already there for my stay. I never received any check in info to date.The person who was there previously left that AM, which is why I'm guessing housekeeping did not properly clean the place. There was hair in the toilet, hair on the shower mat, hair in the tub & sink. The bed had hair on it. I purchased my own comforter & pillow cases because of this. This definitely made the stay more unpleasant than restful. I ended up sleeping on the couch for both nights. The bed was only a mattress that had absolutely no support. There were small bugs all around. I get it is a cabin, but I did not expect to see so many of these little bugs. Also no direct lake access.Lastly & most concerning is that the bathroom window has NO BLINDS OR CURTAINS. Anyone can see into the bathroom! I took pics outside the window that showed directly into bathroom. "

The unit was spotless and the hosts thought of everything - from K cups for coffee to a full line of toiletries in the bathroom. We didn’t have any issues but were able to communicate with the hosts with ease. We enjoyed walking access to a delicious custard place, the community pool, and the historic neighborhoods. We highly recommend staying here!"
