The only downside was no AC, and it was very warm during our stay. AC was not advertised, so this was not a misrepresentation, but had there been AC we would have been more comfortable, and it would have been five stars. All in all, it was a nice stay. We visited Panorama Restaurant and highly recommend. The food is good, and the view is unsurpassed."

To the surroundings

It is located in the heart of Dornbirn, the most populous city in Vorarlberg and the tenth largest in Austria.
It is less than a 10-minute walk to the city's spa, the pedestrian zone in the city centre with its market square, numerous restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlors and shops. The outdoor swimming pool can be reached via a 20-minute walk.

Directly from the apartment a sidewalk leads to the Zanzenberg (small elevation in Dornbirn Oberdorf). The valley station of the Karrens, the local mountain of Dornbirn, is about 5 minutes. From here you can easily reach the mountain station with its panoramic terrace and restaurant by cable car or via hiking trails or you can climb to the higher summit of the dam. No matter which destination you choose, you will enjoy the fantastic view from above via Dornbirn, the beautiful Rhine Valley, Switzerland to Lake Constance and to Germany. Another hiking trail leads over the cart to the famous highlight, the Rappenlochschlucht.

The main train station can be easily reached by bus or in a few minutes by taxi.
The bus stop is in the immediate vicinity.

In the apartment you will find a shelf with information material on sights, events, performances, museums, and maps with hiking trails and city maps.


In my small cozy apartment you will find a cloakroom with extra space for luggage, etc., a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, toilet, washing area, large closet, washing machine and dryer. For a cozy get-together or relaxing you will find a living room with couch, TV and dining table with bench. From there they enter the adjoining bedroom with large double bed for 2 people and storage facilities. In addition, the pull-out couch in the living room, which is separated from the bedroom by a door, can accommodate 1-2 people. Of course, you can also bring children, but apart from said sleeping place and a few games, the apartment is no longer equipped for children. In 3 minutes you are on foot on a large playground, the mini golf course or explore the various paths of the Zanzenberg and enjoy the beautiful view of Dornbirn.

You will find everything from toiletries and household goods, to a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, micro, kettle, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker and enough space, to tea, coffee, sugar, a cupboard with food and drinks everything you need for a nice stay in my apartment. You are welcome to use and use everything in the apartment. I require an appropriate handling of my property. If something is damaged, please do not hesitate to inform me, we will surely find a solution.

Of course, fresh towels and bed linen are also available. Also washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, etc. can be used free of charge.

Dogs are welcome in my apartment, as long as I find the apartment as I left it to you and your companion. There are also bowls and a few dog things for your four-legged friend.

More Information

The apartment is in the heart of Dornbirn, the biggest city in Vorarlberg and the 10th biggest in Austria. Because the apartment is very central, many things are in walking distance. Just 10 minutes to the public indoor swimming pool, the city centre, numerous restaurants, shops, coffee shops and more. To reach the outdoor swimming pool you walk for about 20 minutes.
Right in front of the home there is a pathway up to the Zanzenberg (a small hill in Dornbirn, Oberdorf). To get to the valley station of the Karren, our local mountain, you only need 5 walking minutes. From there on you can go up with either the cable station or by foot. On the mountain there is a beautiful panorama restaurant with as well as a panoramic terrace. You can stay there or hike even higher up to the Staufen. It doesn´t matter which destination you have decided on because you can see the stunning view of Dornbirn and surroundings, lake Constance, even parts of Switzerland and Germany. After all there is another hiking track to the Rappenlochschlucht, which is a well-known canyon you can walk through.
To get to the main station you can take the bus, a taxi or a 20min walk. The nearest bus station is only a few minutes away.
In the apartment there will be a shelf with information material, so you can learn more about our attractions, events, shows and museums. City and hiking maps will be provided as well.


About the apartment

My cozy apartment has a mud room where you can put your luggage, a fully loaded kitchen, a bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, big cupboard, washing machine and dryer. The family room has a couch, TV and a dining table. From there on you reach the bedroom with a big kingsize bed for 2 people and stowage space. The couch in the living room can function as a bed for 1-2 people, it is separated from the bedroom by a door. You can bring your kids but except a few board games the apartment is not equipped for kids. However if you walk for 3 minutes you reach a big playground, a minigolf course and pathways into the nature.
I will provide toiletries, household items, a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, water heater, fridge, dishwasher and even tea, coffee, sugar, a cupboard with some food supplies and drinks. Therefore, you have everything you need to have a pleasant stay in my apartment. I invite to use everything in my apartment, but I expect proper handling with my stuff. If something gets damaged please don´t hesitate to tell me, we will find a solution.
We of course will provide you with fresh towels and bedding. The usage of the washing machine, dryer, dish washer, vacuum cleaner, hairdryer etc. is free of charge as well.
Dogs are certainly welcome as long as I find the apartment in a good condition, as it was before. I will provide dog dishes and a few other dog items.

My guests have the apartment completely to themselves and have access to the entire apartment. It is fully equipped and furnished. There is also a garden and covered parking. Through the separate entrance through the private garden, away from the main entrance of this house, you can easily get from your car directly through a door into the garden and the apartment.

The space
We have a cozy living room where a sofa bed may be equipped as needed. Living room is combined with kitchen and dining area. There's a TV there, too. From the living room there is direct access to a garden (about 30 square meters) where our guests can enjoy the evening. Of course, all the rooms can be enjoyed. The kitchen is well equipped. The washing machine is located in the heating room in the same house and is generally used by all BnB Village guests. The apartment is very central, with a lot of greenery.
Pricing refers to at least 2-person use per room. If you want single occupancy, this is possible to a limited extent for a surcharge of EURO 20,- /person/night.
