He aggressively asked what room I was in. The interaction left a bad taste in my mouth as how simple would it be to either have a sign or have an attendant?"

- "It's a nice place, very clean in a safe area. " - "Rioca Hotel offers a wonderful immersion into Brazilian culture. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, with the sound of birds in the halls and plenty of lush greenery. The rooms, decorated in green and black, feel like a unique escape. As a newly opened hotel, there are a few areas that still need improvement. The balconies, for instance, are yet to be furnished, and the air conditioning system could use some adjustments. It’s automatic and often shuts off after just five minutes, which made it difficult to keep cool during hot times. A few small amenities were also missing from the room, Rioca offers hand wash and hair/shower gel, which does have a beautiful scent. However, it would be nice to see the addition of shower caps. The kitchen is well-equipped, with everything you need and some excellent coffee, but it would be great to have a few tea bags and some sugar available as well. Breakfast was delightful, However, I felt that the breakfast selection could be expanded. While gluten-free bread was available, I would love to see more gluten-free pastry options. One of the highlights of our stay was the coffee—it’s truly first-class, with a natural sweetness. The atmosphere in the reception and lounging area is so relaxing that you can easily spend hours just sitting and enjoying your coffee. Overall, I recommend Rioca Hotel. Despite the small improvements needed, which are understandable for a newly opened hotel, the experience is truly unique and worth every moment"

A picturesque apartment in one of the most beautiful communities on Lake Constance. In a quiet location, this gem is located overlooking Lake Constance in the beautiful village of Litzelstetten. The two landlords, Erwin and Gabi Maguhn, have furnished a very cozy, yet modern apartment in the center. The apartment is located on the ground floor / mezzanine floor of a two-family house overlooking the Überlinger See. The entire apartment is newly renovated and furnished (2019) and offer everything the renter heart desires. The kitchen is equipped with the latest appliances and fully furnished. From the bedroom and living room and from the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake, from the WZ access to the terrace and garden. The bedroom with the two single beds is separated by a sliding door from the living room and can, if necessary, be left completely open. In the yard parking is free. The infrastructure is optimal: Supermarket, three bakeries, doctors, pharmacy, bus stop are within walking distance in about five minutes. The nearby (free) beach can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot and the beautiful flower island Mainau is only about 25 minutes away. Our new renovated appartement in the center of Konstanz (Bodensee) has 2 double beds and a galerie under the ceiling. A historical building at 5 th floor with great rooms with a nice view . Lovated in the old town of Constance. Mind the stairs - even those arent the stairs to heaven, you do need to be able to climb them up. Kitchen and bathroom are all new renovated in 2022.New ooden floor and a roof top terrace which can be accesed through the galerie makes this a very exclusice and rare place in Konstanz.

The apartment offers 90 square meters of high-quality equipment with two bedrooms, a living and dining room, a spacious south-facing balcony facing the Seerhein, an extensively equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub and a separate toilet.

- "This was my third trip Konstanz in five years. We started with a bike trip around the lake in October of 2014. The trip began and ended in Konstanz. Somewhere in there we fell in love with the place, so I wanted to come back again. Since I keep going back to Konstanz, I plan another country to visit first as well. This time it was Brussels, which is only a little over an hour away flight time. The owner was extremely accommodating with my arrival, and the flat is perfect for my/ (daughter in 30's, female partner in 40's, myself in my 50's) our needs. You can view the Rhine River (though I once saw it referred to as a lake?) from the high rising glass doors if the balcony proves too chilly for your liking (I went off season). This flat makes you feel like your more intertwined with a community rather than being in a vacation place. An amazing grocery store (EDEKA) is across the street as well as a MediaMarkt (for any electronic needs you may have forgotten). Holly's, a great place to eat/drink, is across from EDEKA. Keep going North from MediaMarkt you'll find a biergarten that had our favorite server, next to that a bakery with great products and coffee. I can't remember the name of the biergarten or the bakery (or our server) and it's not appearing on my Google Maps, but I'm telling you they are there and not to miss if you like bakeries and biergartens. :) I want to give a final shout out to Logan's Irish Pub which is East of the flat, the other direction from all previous mentioned items. When we came into town, it was late, we wanted a refreshment, and it was a great night. The other part of being in the everyday living is you walk across the bike/pedestrian bridge into town (?) (the Olde town? City Center?, not sure what to call it) and, if during a work/school day, people are everywhere, with kids, seemingly too young to be on their own, going about on their bikes/scooters. Crime seems to be low in this beautiful village. It was more grey this time of year, but we had one fantastic clear day to view the snow capped Alps, which is another part of the fun of Konstanz. The train is a 23 minute walk away, so if you have time and don't want to get a cab (not sure if the bus goes by there?) you can walk it. (Cabs seem to be pricey around the area) If I could stay in that flat for a month, I would. Still may."

The larger room is intended for occupancy by 2 guests, the smaller one for a single. Both rooms each have a cozy , large bed. In the room there is a Senseo coffee maker - we provide you with coffee free of charge. Space for your personal belongings can be found on the shelves and in the closet.

There is never a double occupancy by 2 tour groups.

Unfortunately, the kitchen can only be used by arrangement.

The family bathroom is usually available to our guests during the week from 7:30 - 22:00. Short agreements would be great. On weekends and, if necessary, we are also happy to meet the requests of our guests.

Bicycle storage is possible. Our little guests are also welcome to use the swing and slide in our garden area.

Other things to note
Since I live above you with our three living children as well as our Golden Retriever mix dog, it is possible that you will hear us from time to time. We do our best to be very respectful, but you should not expect Klosterstille during the day.

The apartment is located in a quiet location on the outskirts of Constance and can be reached from the center by bus in approx. 10 minutes; the forest and the university are very close. You have a private bedroom/living room on the 2nd floor. The bathroom with toilet and shower is on the same floor and is shared with me. You can have your breakfast in the dining room on the 1st floor. I provide coffee, tea, honey and homemade jam.

The space
You live quietly and yet are in the center in no time. The bus station is a 5-minute walk, the bakery and a 10-minute walk. You can also walk to the lake and the city or to Mainau Island in 25 minutes.

The sunny room is in a colorful flat in a quiet street. There is a big bed, size 1.60m and 2 sitting chairs. There is place for you in two drawers of the commode. There is a water boiler for you, so you can make your own tee or coffee.

We share the bathroom and the hallway. Since the kitchen is connected directly to my privat room, you can not use it.

A spacious, beautiful room for a relaxing stay in Konstanz.
The room is lovingly furnished and equipped with a desk. Sleeping in a cozy box spring bed for two people.
