In summer and winter, the Bregenzerwald has a particular appeal: with lots of things such as hiking, walking, cross-country skiing and of course skiing in the largest ski area in the Mellau-Damüls region. In addition, Mellau also has a very well located swimming pool with a beautiful view of the mountain - the Kanisfluh.

Our lovingly furnished new apartment is about 60 m² in size and for max. 4 people.
The living / dining area is fully furnished and very well equipped (ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, fully automatic coffee machine, toaster, blender, extractor fan, water heater, etc.).
In the living area is located next to the cozy leather couch, a new flat screen TV and a stereo with integ. DVD player.
The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a 3-door wardrobe with plenty of storage space. The kids room is furnished with two single beds and a 2-door cabinet.
The bathroom has a sink with a large mirror, a shelf, a shower, a toilet.
Bicycles and a variety of winter sports equipment is available in the carport own compartment available.
Your car can be easily parked in the carport. In the basement there is a ski boot dryer. The use of the sauna (combi sauna) is available on request for an additional fee of 20,00 €

- "In August 2014, we have spent our holiday here. The apartment is clean, spacious, very modern and everything is still very new. Certainly the bathroom and kitchen were very nice! Everything you need is provided and the beds are comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. For our holiday we had sent a few questions by email and the family Wustner responded quickly and correctly. The area is very peaceful; inside and outside the apartment I was able to work very well on the last part of my thesis to graduate. The area is also really beautiful! With our booking we got the so-called Bregenzerwald Gäste-Card'. With the Bregenzerwald Gäste-Card we could make free use of buses in the area and several cable cars. The bus departs from the Spar Supermarket in the centre, where you can walk to in a few minutes. By bus we went to Bregenz (along Lake Constance/Bodensee) and Lech. The advantage is that you come along beautiful spots by bus and you can enjoy watching it without having to concentrate on the road. The family Wüstner gave us a booklet with the departure times of the buses so we could travel and explore well on our own. The cable cars Mellau and Schoppernau (Diedamskopf Bergbahnen) we used often so we could walk in the beautiful mountains. On top of the mountains you get a beautiful view at the surroudings and you can take wonderful pictures up there! The family Wustner informed us about bicycles you can rent in Mellau for very little money. We have not done that, but the environment is very suitable and beautiful for it! The family Wustner also gave us a calender with information about activities nearby. We have had a great holiday here!"

House Irma is located right in the heart of Mellau directly on the beautiful Mellenbach. The peaceful surroundings and the sound of the creek invite you to relax and unwind. Within walking distance you can reach the grocery store, the tourist office, the bank, the outdoor swimming pool, a new playground and any regional gastronomy. Also the ski bus stop is only 3 min walk from the house. Parking is available in front of the house. A ski room gives the opportunity to store your ski equipment.

On request, we provide on request for our youngest guests baby cot and high chair. Our apartments are of course fully equipped for everyday vacation needs.

The house is located in short walking distance of the Mellau rope-way bottom terminal.

You can reach the village center by bus in 5 min for groceries. There are several restaurants that serve regional and high quality Austrian food.

The apartment is well suited for a family. The bedroom has a king-size bed. There is also a double bed in the second bedroom. The couch in the kitchen/living room can also be used as a sofa bed. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove and dishwasher.

The space
Skiing equipment can be rented easily in the sports shop directly at the bottom terminal of the nearby rope-way. The equipment can be easily stored in the basement. Ski boots can be put in the warm heating room in the evening.
Bicycles can be stored securely in the garage.

Guest access
As a guest you will receive a key for the house and the apartment.

The apartment is separate from the rest of the house. The bedroom, kitchen/living room and bathroom/WC are exclusively to use for the guests.

In accordance with the ordinance of the municipality of Mellau dated 25.4.2023, all guests over the age of 14 are obliged to pay a guest tax of € 2.70 per person per night. The guest tax is not included in the price and must be paid in cash at check-out.

The space
Apartment Klausbrücke was completed in December 2021. With great attention to detail we have furnished the apartment on 32sqm for 2 adult guests.
It has a cozy living area with sofa (190cm wide)and TV ( cable/ internet connection) beautiful dining area with great views as well as a fully equipped kitchen with quiet dishwasher, fridge with freezer, induction field and oven, Bosch Tassimo coffee
Machine, toaster, spices, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, honey to name a few. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet, towel radiator, sink with base cabinet and mirror cabinet. The infrared heat cabin built in in the bathroom gives relaxation and warming rest after a hike or a day of skiing. Linens and towels are included in the price. The separate bedroom is equipped with a built-in wardrobe made of white wood, TV ( cable / internet connection), cozy box spring bed ( 160x 200).
Free Wi-Fi as well as access to the house and apartment are provided via a code.

Guest access
Access to the apartment on the 2nd floor is via the covered balcony.
The balcony has a cozy seating set and a sun lounger. There is a fantastic view from here. The sun shines here from noon to evening.
In front of the house is a reserved parking space for our guests.
