Harlech Railway station, with links to Shrewsbury and UK rail mainline is a 5 minute walk away. This is a great way to explore the local coastline between Pwhelli and Aberdovey.

Situated in a quiet estate approximately 20 minutes walk ( 2 minute drive) from the scenic Harlech Castle and beach with local shops, pubs and eateries the Royal St Davids Golf course, and formerly the steepest road in the world . The accommodation is well equipped and and extremely comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the wonders of the local area. The bedrooms, much like the rest of the house, are well presented and comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep.

The space
The entrance to our 2 storey holiday home is on the first floor.

Don't worry about keys, we have a home automation system that controls things like our smart front door lock (just use a code), heating and automatic lighting.

Enter in to the main hallway on the 1st floor, which has a bathroom with W.C, basin, power shower, automatic lighting and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 1 - Double bed with chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables an TV with Netflix/Amazon fire stick and Amazon Alexa. View over the grounds.

Bedroom 2 - Bunk room with 2 single bunk beds, built in wardrobe with shelving, TV with Netflix/Amazon Firestick.

Understairs walk in storage providing additional storage for things like wetsuits, surf boards, wind break, beach accessories etc, all of which are available for you to use.

2nd Floor

Bedroom 3- Double bed with chest of drawers and clothes hanging space. Please note although this room has a double bed it is small room . We love it though

Open plan living area- with great view over looking the Rhinogydd Mountains and the communal green. With large glass and oak dining table, seating for six, 2 leather sofas and wing back reclining arm chair. 42inch TV with Netflix/freeview/ Amazon Firestick and a Large Alexa Speaker.

Kitchen - Open plan oak kitchen with fan oven and hob, microwave, mini air fryer, pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle and fridge with small freezer box. Please note we do not have a washing machine as I don't wash clothes on holiday but do supply washing powder under sink for hand washing essentials, and a clothes airer is in the understairs cupboard..

Outside, there is plenty of room for BBQ's, ball games or simply lazing around in the sun on one of Harlech's many beautiful days.

Plenty of parking space too.

What was once the Old Doctor's is now a beautiful self contained annex in the centre of Harlech's World Heritage Site.

It has an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom can be made up as a single sofa bed/travel cot on request. There's a private patio with outdoor seating and an off-road parking space.

The space
The Old Doctor's is a self contained annex apartment next to our family home.

It is all on one level and has an open plan kitchen/dining/living space which follows through to a hallway. Off the hallway there is the main bedroom, bathroom, second bedroom and a cleaning cupboard.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, cookware, utensils, hand soap, washing-up supplies and fresh tea/coffee/milk on your arrival. There's also a washing machine (laundry tablets provided) and a clothes rack for drying wet things. Please note there is no freezer, dishwasher or tumble dryer.

The living/dining space has a shoe and coat rack, dining table and chairs, high chair (on request), 3 seater sofa, wall mounted TV with streaming apps, coffee tables, lamps, board games, books, blankets and a welcome pack with local recommendations.

The main bedroom has a kingsize bed, bedside tables, lamps, a single drawer under the bed and vanity shelf/baskets alongside the full length mirror. There is a tall chest of drawers and an open wardrobe in the hallway just outside the door to this room. There's a hair dryer in the top drawer and clothes hangers are provided.

The second bedroom has a small sofa, chest of drawers, lamp and a full length mirror. With the sofa it can be enjoyed as a second living space/dressing room. Or it can be made up on request, with either a single sofa bed or a travel cot. Please get in touch if you want it set up as a bedroom and we can discuss details.

If travelling with a little one please note that there is no space for the travel cot in the main bedroom, only in the second bedroom. Please only book if you're happy with this set up.

Both bedrooms have blackout blind/curtains, however, as is often the case with blackouts, little bits of light can escape around the edges.

Bed linen and towels are provided. All towels are for interior use only, please bring your own beach towels.

The bathroom has a toilet, sink, shower, towel rail, squeegee, bathmat and mirror. The bathroom is a wetroom so it can get ... wet! There are squeegees provided to help contain and clear up splashed water. Please note there is no bath and it isn't suitable to use a travel bath for little ones. Loo roll, handsoap and cleaning products are provided, we do not provide shampoo or shower gel.

The annex apartment is connected to our family home via a double locked cupboard space. The door to your right as you enter the hallway has two Yale locks (top and bottom). This is one of the two doors that connects the annex to our home. We have a similar locked door on our side and in the middle of these two doors is a cupboard (which we call Narnia). Inside Narnia you will find Henry hoover, a mop, cleaning products and spare loo roll, should you need them. You can access this cupboard during your stay, if you need the cleaning products, but we kindly ask that you keep it locked the rest of the time. It will remain locked from our side for the length of your stay.

Guest access
The Old Doctor’s is the white annex adjoining our family home. It is a self contained apartment with its own entrance.

There is an off-road parking space (opposite the annex) and a private patio (to the left of the annex) for your use during your stay.

The driveway and garden in front of the main house (to the right of the annex) is our private family home and not to be used by guests.
