- "This a very polished new property, very clean and nicely decorated with all you need for a lovely stay. Cooking wise there is a microwave and small air fryer in the kitchen area, no oven or hob. The ensuite bathroom was lovely with a great shower. Very comfy bed too. Unusually we were allowed to stay in our room with our dog, however the shared facilities are signed as 'dogs not allowed' which was tricky for us as our dog literally follows us everywhere and not happy left in the room while we were in the shared kitchen area. So basically, we slept and washed in our room and spent the whole time outside or in the pub. Thankfully it was good weather! One other room in the shared property also allows pets and it could have been tricky if two dogs were staying at the same time possibly, so I would check first. The pub downstairs was lovely, great staff and regulars, who all made us feel really welcome and we're super lovely, serving good food, so we didn't need to cook. Plenty of utensils and crockery in the kitchen. A great base for exploring the area with gorgeous beaches walking and short driving distances away."

- "Simple clean and everything we needed!" - "The positives for our stay are - very clean room, warm, spacious, nice shower, easy check in. The communal kitchen area was a nice addition, very clean with good equipment for guest use. The negatives that we found were there was a lack of storage space for clothes (no wardrobe or drawers - just a small shelving unit that had some coat hooks around it) so we had to live out of our suitcase. The shower room itself was very small. When other guests were using the kitchen it can be quite noisy. We ate in the pub one night and prices are very reasonable but we werent overly impressed with the food so didnt eat there again (which was a shame as that was part of the reason for booking this location). The metal staircase to access the rooms could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. The communal balcony looked like it had safety issues (some.of the artificial grass had been pulled up in one corner, some tables and chairs were upturned and there were at least two pieces of slate on there that looked like they had come off the roof)therefore we didnt use it which again was disappointing as we had beautiful weather, no one informed us or gave us any sort of information on the issues. All in all it was a good stay but dont think we would stay again disappointingly"

This house just makes everything so easy. The bathroom has a gorgeous slipper bath! Relax amongst the bubbles for as long as you wish as there's plenty of hot water to top up. For those who prefer to shower, there's a modern shower to wake you up or wash off the sandy day.

Finished to an incredibly high standard you will wish your holiday to continue for longer. With an open plan sitting room/dining room, with log burning stove to keep you toasty warm, and French doors to a compact terraced area you can throw open the doors on sunny days and the party can spill outside. Through to the kitchen the designated cook can wander – with an huge range cooker there is no excuse not to create a masterpiece to enjoy with friends. Next to the kitchen is the back door that takes you along a passage onto the road that leads to Central Bakery – THE place to buy bread and your Saturday croissants.
By the back door there is a downstairs lavatory, washer dryer and tiled area to let your dogs sleep quietly. There's even a dog bed and bowl to help you pack light.
Sleepy heads can choose from two sets of stairs. Up the main stairs to the 1st floor you will find the first of the two master bedrooms with a Super King sized four poster bed and en suite bathroom that will make you smile. Both en suites have baths and separate showers so all will be happy. There is a twin room on this floor with huge double beds and its own bathroom next door – there's even and a set of stairs next to it to sneak you down to the kitchen for midnight feasts!
Up another flight of stairs to the 2nd floor you will find another Super King sized bedroom with four poster bed and en suite bathroom fit for a queen with two basins side by side as pure indulgence – along the hall is another twin bedroom with yet another bathroom.
Last but by no means least is a secret squirrel room up in the attic with a double bed and permission to sneak away from everyone else. There is a television with dvd in this bedroom – although with skylights above you may wish to watch the stars instead.

Pilot House was first noted almost two hundred years ago on the 1829 Beaumaris town plan. Today, it is listed for its special architectural interest as a vernacular house with details of Georgian character added at a later date. Do not be fooled by its age or size, as this beautiful property has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by its current owners.
Located just a hop and a skip from the waterfront in Beaumaris, you could be off crabbing or taking in the sea air as soon as you arrive at Pilot House. Or you may simply wish to kick off your shoes, relax and enjoy a coffee in the bay window of the first-floor living room. Take in view of the Menai Strait and the stunning mountains which stretch away into the distance - you could sit here for hours.
Pilot House is split over two and a half floors. The inspirational interior design has been carefully selected to reflect the house's history and location. Flooded with natural light and accented throughout with hues of blue, this is a restful and calming space.
Step into the welcoming entrance hall. To your right is a cosy ground-floor double bedroom - a stunning room to wake up in accompanied by the sounds and sights of the sea. Pad along the hallway to a very modern shower room to wash away a deep night's sleep or the exertions of a day out exploring the island.
Still on the ground floor, at the rear of the property is a modern, well-equipped kitchen/dining area with a separate utility room. The kitchen is a truly sociable space, with a central island and bar stools. The large dining table for 8 is perfect for slow holiday meals and convivial conversation. On warm days, fold back the bi-fold doors and extend the kitchen further onto a beautiful private courtyard. With outdoor mood lighting and a BBQ for that alfresco dining experience, this is an inviting space for balmy summer evenings.
Climb the stairs up onto the first floor, where you will find two beautifully decorated, serene double bedrooms. One to the rear of the property, overlooking the private courtyard below, and the second to the front of the property with a seafront view.
There is a sizeable family bathroom on this floor, with a freestanding bath and shower.
The living room is also on this floor. Relax in luxurious comfort, with the added benefit of a cosy log burner - snuggle up beside it on colder lazy days. The sea and mountain views from this room speak for themselves, a perfect spot for any professional or budding artist.
Wind your way up a further staircase to the second floor. Here you will find a tranquil double room tucked into the eves with windows and skylights built into the roof. Off this bedroom is a breathtaking shower room - pamper yourself to your heart's content.
Note that there are two sets of stairs in Pilot House - something to keep in mind when travelling with older or younger generations.

- "Pass the keys were awful to deal with. We received a text from a company we had never heard of and weren’t expecting. Expedia could not confirm it was legitimate, Vrbo in the first instance were no better and Pass the keys were rude. Vrbo eventually took ownership and were able to confirm the company were legitimate and we made the verification and paid the deposit and £10 fee. It turned out the 3rd party had changed their name but the listings had not been updated. Check in was easy, parking was great and it’s in a great location. The room was disappointing with a roof beam splitting the bed and it was very noisy with the bar underneath and the other people staying in the property. It was very nicely done out, just needed the bed in a different spot in the room and some soundproofing. "

A Grade II listed building that has just sympathetically & extensively renovated to create a luxury 2 bedroom apartment over two floors that's located over a retail unit with shared a foyer/vestibule but each with their own independent access door.
Step into an open-plan modern kitchen complete with an air fryer and a washer dryer, there’s a dining area and cosy lounge area, the perfect setting to relax after a day exploring the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

The apartment is perfect location to explore all the town has to offer. It's bursting with history, explore the castle and get a real sense of history visiting the old Gaol and court.

If a more relaxing trip is desired you can hop on a boat and sail round Puffin Island, fingers crossed you are lucky enough to see some fantastic wildlife, puffins, seals, purpoises and sometimes even dolphins.
Whilst we welcome up to two well behaved dogs (extra fee of £20 per dog) please note that the apartment doesn't have any outside space but a short walk to open areas.
Being a stones throw from two public houses there might be some noise from the pubs at night, particularly at weekends.

Step inside and up a steep narrow stair, this place is cosy and compact, yet somehow manages to feel airy, roomy and light. As one guest remarked – “it is hardly little!” With high ceilings and plenty of light pouring in we have to agree it is the perfect bolthole for two. You can be nicely private here on the first floor, just sit and watch the world go by in the bright sitting room from the comfy sofa. Talk about a room with a view! There's a smartly-equipped, gleaming kitchen where you will find a homemade cheesecake upon arrival – lovely to come home to after an invigorating walk. A family kitchen sits at the heart of the house packed with everything you could need as the owners enjoy cooking – they even leave you herbs and spices as this is not somewhere you pop out if you forget something. This is a hideaway for those who wish to get away from the rush of modern life. Next to the kitchen sits a comfortable sitting room centred around the all important cosy log fire. A dining table for gatherings sits to one side awaiting feasts and stories. Open the door to an outside courtyard with views along the old deer park wall to Puffin Island beyond – a suntrap in the afternoon. The original cottage is evident here – the old stone walls, the boundaries set years before, beautiful is an understatement and magical is not strong enough to describe this location.
With families all important there are two double bedrooms with super comfy beds and soft feather duvets await sleepy heads. The master bedroom with king sized beds and enormous pillows with an ensuite dressing room and shower too. Then the magic begins – up the steep stairs from the sitting room sits a crog loft that becomes a magical escape for two older children. The stairs alone a work of art though steep for some and low for others take care. Simple mattresses on the floor allow for a den like feel – not for tall adults as this is a magical make believe den for sensible children.
Downstairs a family bathroom with a bath that dreams of bubbles awaits those who love to relax awhile. No need to rush and shower when time slows down here. With hot water upon demand a glass of fizz in hand and a quiet read is one dream that can come true.

When it rains, you fire up the wood-burner and watch ships pass by through the vast windows, as the weather puts on a show just for you. As dusk falls, you can recline on the sheltered veranda and watch the sun go down.
Interiors of wood, brick and stone have a cool, uncluttered design - a warm mix of old and new that works perfectly. As is the case with most of Beaumaris, there isn’t any parking at the property itself, but you are able to drop off/pick up your bags outside the property, and then you may find parking on the nearby streets, which is on a first come, first served basis for residents and guests alike (there is no residents only parking in Beaumaris), the Town Council also provide a large Car Park for a daily/weekly charge just a nice stroll on the seafront, just passed the Pier.
This apartment does not allow children under the age of 11 years. No smoking or vaping. There is a daybed in the twin bedroom and a Sofa Bed in the Lounge which there are welcome to use, if they provide your own linen.
Beaumaris itself is a charming and vibrant destination, home to an array of independent shops, delightful restaurants, and historic landmarks. Just a short walk from the apartment, you’ll find the impressive 13th-century Beaumaris Castle, the fascinating historic Gaol, and the lifeboat station. No visit would be complete without stopping by the famous Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour for a sweet treat before heading home.

The space has a connecting door to the main house, but this this will always be locked, and will also be bolted from the guest's side.
A file is available in the room with information on local places and services.
The private enclosed patio has a small dining table and chairs for two, with a parasol if required on hot days. It also has 2 reclining chairs and a small barbecue. It would be appreciated if, when using the barbecue, it could be kept on the gravel so no fat drops onto the stone flags please.
There are several potted plants on the patio and a water butt and watering can. I'm sure the plants would thank you for a drink on warmer days!
Guest access
Could guests please park parallel to the sand coloured extension on the right hand side of the drive (under the round and rectangular windows). (see photo) Jane has 2 cars which are parked to the left of the wide drive. Access to the holiday let is then through the gate to the right of the rectangular window. Arrival time 3pm onwards. If you think you will be arriving late( in the dark), message me and I will make sure the outside light is on.
Other things to note
There will be a welcome pack on arrival of tea, coffee, bread, milk and some confectionery. For this reason I will message you to ask for your milk and bread (brown or white)preferences before you arrive. There will also be a selection of breakfast cereals.
Please note there is no microwave, but there is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, milk heater/frother, toasted sandwich maker, omelette maker, egg boiler and an under counter fridge with a small freezer compartment.
For stays of longer than 4 nights, sheets will be changed if required. Towels can be changed after 3 nights if required. Please text Jane or come and see her to request clean towels and these will be left in a laundry box on the patio. Please put the dirty towels into it and leave outside the gate for collection. It would be appreciated if you could bring along your own towels for the beach please, so as not to use the house towels.
I have 2 cats, Polly who is black and white and Pumpkin, a calico cat, who may pass through the guests patio on their local journeys and are very friendly. They may even want to visit you but please do not invite them in and I would request that you do not feed them please.

A spacious corner sofa invites the whole family to gather for games or a relaxing evening as the sun sets. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for home-cooked meals, though with Beaumaris’ fantastic restaurants and takeaways just a short stroll away, you may be tempted to dine out.
The apartment comfortably accommodates families with three bedrooms—a zip/link King Bed, which can, if requested at the time of booking, be configured to 2 single beds, a twin bedroom, and a set of full-sized bunk beds, perfect for the kids. With a playground near the castle and crabbing opportunities from the pier, little ones will have plenty to enjoy.
As is the case with most of Beaumaris, there isn’t any parking at the property itself, but you are able to drop off/pick up your bags outside the property, and then you may find parking on the nearby streets, which is on a first come, first served basis for residents and guests alike (there is no residents only parking in Beaumaris) and the Town Council also provide a large Car Park for a daily/weekly charge just a nice stroll on the seafront, just passed the Pier.
Whether you're exploring Beaumaris’ eclectic shops and eateries, setting off on coastal adventures, or lacing up your hiking boots for Snowdonia, Beau View at Gadlys House provides the perfect base for an unforgettable seaside escape.

Stylish holiday apartment in newly renovated Georgian house for rental with stunning views of the Menai Straits and Snowdonia mountains. Ancient castle, small gallery-type shops, a good choice of fine and casual dining a few steps away , fishing trips, leisure cruises, crabbing from the pier and a sandy beach all in Beaumaris, Anglesey.
The space
We finished and furnished this loft to our own taste - with good quality new fittings and furnishings. A large and comfortable sofa , two velvet armchairs and a super 'smart' television. Views from the dining table ( for four/five) are special. The kitchen is brand new and is well equipped for casual or more formal dining. Bedrooms are fully carpeted with new , comfortable beds and good quality bed linen.
This is delightful spot from which to enjoy all that a small,traditional seaside town has to offer.

Beaumaris council provide a large Car Park at The Green (next to the pier) for a daily/weekly fee, which is a short walk on the seafront and Anglesey council provide one near the castle.

The apartment sleeps up to 3 guests comfortably but an extra guest can be accommodated on the pull out sofa bed in the lounge.
Stay connected with WiFi throughout the building and smart TV's in the lounge and master bedroom. Please not that phone signal is limited depending on your phone network.
The apartment is perfect location to explore all the town has to offer. It's bursting with history, explore the castle and get a real sense of history visiting the old Gaol and court.
If you are looking for a more adrenaline filled activity take a rib ride down the Menai Strait to see the iconic Menai Suspension Bride. If a more relaxing trip is desired you can hop on a boat and sail round Puffin Island, fingers crossed you are lucky enough to see some fantastic wildlife, puffins, seals, purpoises and sometimes even dolphins.
Whilst we welcome up to two well behaved dogs (extra fee of £20 per dog) please note that the apartment doesn't have any outside space but a short walk to open areas.
Being a stones throw from two public houses there might be some noise from the pubs at night, particularly at weekends.
Apartment not suitable for those with limited or reduced mobility or infants due to the spiral staircase.
