11 Angel Yard is a beautifully converted ground floor period apartment, forming part of an imaginative and select development. The property is set in a very pretty courtyard, tucked away off the street, in quite stunning surrounds. It has been finished to a very high standard with quality fittings in the kitchen and bathroom and provides an extremely comfortable abode for either short or longer breaks. The rooms are light and spacious and the apartment will accommodate four people comfortably.

There is a very well appointed en-suite bathroom off the main bedroom and also a separate shower room. The sitting room has an attractive fireplace which is the focal point of the room and there is a television with DVD player. Outside there is allocated parking for 1 car. The communal gardens are absolutely beautiful and enjoy far reaching views to Cowdray Ruins - a stunning backdrop.

Annex to a charming 17th century listed property.

Situated in beautiful heathland landscapes on the outskirts of the village of Heyshott, yet only 10 minutes drive from historic Midhurst and 15 minutes from Petworth. In the heart of the South Downs National Park, with local walks right on the doorstep. The South Downs way is a couple of miles away and the Serpent Trail is a hundred yards away. Mountain bikes are available for hire locally. Amberfold is a great base for Goodwood (7 miles), Cowdray polo (3 miles) and local attractions such as Cowdray Park ruins, Petworth House, the Weald and Downland museum, Chichester and the Coast.

There are several local pubs serving good food and beer including the Unicorn Inn a mile away in Heyshott village, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants in Midhurst. Bikes are available to hire via a local contact who will deliver bikes to Amberfold ready to hit the road or trail. Minimum 2 night stay at weekends over the Summer (April to October) – single night stays welcome on weekdays all year and at weekends with a 1 night supplementary charge between November and March. The space
The Gatehouse is a grand former Georgian hotel converted into individual apartment, with long standing permanent residents, it is located in a quiet residential area, if you're coming to Midhurst to party this isn't the place for you, but it is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the local area and be close to some of the most beautiful, historic and exciting areas in West Sussex and the South Downs. The flat is literally a minute’s walk to West Street and a few minutes’ walk right into Midhurst High Street or Cowdray Park.

The spacious light and airy Siting Room features a comfortable sofa and vintage Mid-Century armchairs combined vintage and contemporary art to create a stylish space to relax in. Featuring a concealed TV with a motorised TV lift and a Samsung Smart TV incorporating Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple TV, together with a Sonos speaker and a wireless iPhone charging station. The room also includes a 4 seat Ercol dining table and chairs. With views of Edinburgh Square, it’s the perfect place to start and end your day in Midhurst.

The bedroom is bright, airy and comfortable with an Ercol King Size bed, luxurious bed linens, super soft and warm down duvets and pillows. Hypo allergenic options are also available upon request. A hair dryer is included together with a steam iron and ironing board. With fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers there is plenty of space to store your clothes during your stay.

The flat features an en-suite Bathroom with a large walk in shower an extra-large rain shower head for a great shower experience and combi boiler provides constant instant hot water. Luxurious 600gm bath sheets and hand towels as well as hand soap, body wash and shampoo are also provided to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The apartment was bought as a near derelict squat & has been lovingly restored to a beautiful loft style apartment. It has a very up cycled shabby chic feel a lot of the furniture has been restored & hand painted by myself.

Ancient meets modern in the heart of the South Downs. West Street Loft occupies the top two floors of a converted Grade II listed C16th building in the centre of historic Midhurst. Perfectly located for polo at Cowdray, events at Goodwood, West Dean, weddings in Midhurst and the surrounding area.
The space
West Street Loft has been lovingly restored over two years. Ancient beams and wonky walls only add to the charm while you relax in the spacious living and dining area.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, oven and gas hob. Dualit toaster and kettle, Nespresso machine and Aeroccino Milk Frother. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and basin. There is also a freestanding double ended bath in the upstairs bedroom. All these have underfloor heating.

Located above my shop Stuff & Co many of the furnishings are available to buy in the shop or one offs from the loft. We have tried to think of everything from handmade soap (made in the shop) to comfy Super Kingsize bed, luxury Hungarian goose down duvets and pillows to pure linen bedding.

Although there is one bedroom it is possible to make up the sofa bed as either a double (kingsize) or 2 singles, however please be aware that the loft is fairly open plan, and although the beds are on different floors there is no door on the bedroom, and this living arrangement would probably only suit very good friends or those with children (over 12 only please). If more than 2 guests please let me know how you would like the spare bed to be made up.

This large apartment now features two spacious bedrooms. The first bedroom is a double bedroom with a large wardrobe, providing ample storage space. The second bedroom is furnished with a luxurious king-size bed with views overlooking the bustling city centre below. With a large, comfortable living space, this is an excellent base to come home to in the evenings after a day of exploring. The high ceilings and walls make both rooms light and airy, creating a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below.

The kitchen is on a slightly higher level and is fully equipped with everything you will need to self-cater during your stay (although there are plentiful pubs, restaurants, and cafes around). The kitchen includes a kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, fridge, and freezer. There is also a dining table with seating for four, so there is plenty of space for just yourself or to entertain friends while you are away.

The apartment has a shower room and separate WC. Additionally, the property now has newly installed WiFi for guests to use. One parking space is allocated to this property.

In recent years Midhurst was voted the most desirable place to live in the whole of the UK - some accolade! It is a quintessential English town, with period properties from a variety of eras lining the main streets and a collection of eclectic shops and restaurants making it even more appealing. Much of the town is still owned by the famous Cowdray Estate which hosts the polo season, attracting visitors from all over the world. The famous Cowdray Ruins lie on the northern outskirts of the town and there is a superb farm shop and coffee shop to enjoy. The South Downs surround the town and for keen walkers there are so many beautiful places to explore.

The old market town of Petworth lies just to the east, with Petworth House being an interesting place to visit, along with Petworth Park. Goodwood lies just a few miles to the south and attracts visitors from all over the world to its famous motor sports events and horse racing events. Chichester lies about 11 miles south of Midhurst and has a world famous cathedral, which dominates the city. It also has the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre. There are number of good quality golf courses in the region, including Cowdray Park and 2 courses at Goodwood.

The south coast, with many picturesque beaches including West Wittering's sandy dunes, is about 6 miles south of Chichester. Midhurst is easily accessible by road and there is a mainline train station to London at Haslemere, just to the north.

There is no private outside space, but a table and chairs is on our lower lawn for your use.

You do not need to have a treatment during your stay but if you wish to indulge, I offer a full range of authentic organic Ayurvedic treatments, tailored specifically to you including rejuvenating massages and detoxifying therapies. After a consultation, I will guide on you a journey to balance and wellbeing. We only need to make a small investment in ourselves to make a big difference. As mentioned above, my private therapy room is located on the second floor, so you do not even need to leave the property after a treatment - just pop downstairs to your accommodation afterwards to shower and relax. With a private entrance and stairs leading up to a spacious open plan sitting room and sleeping area, bathed in daylight via the double aspect Victorian sash windows, voile curtains and blinds aid privacy and peaceful sleep. There is a large, comfortable sofa with numerous cushions, fresh flowers, a table and chairs for dining, television with Amazon and Netflix (although you will need your own subscription to access these please) and a quiet corner for reading or relaxation. There is a selection of books, magazines and games, a large full length mirror and a small wardrobe with shelves, with space for storing suitcases or anything else you may wish to tidy away. Here you will find an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two dressing gowns.

The double bed has an organic wool mattress, wool mattress protector, an organic wool duvet and organic cotton and linen sheets. Wool is natural, renewable and biodegradable, making it the eco-friendly choice with no harm to the environment. Both mattress and bed linen are globally certified 100% organic and free from harmful chemicals.

The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, large shower with luxe shower head, heated towel rail, towels and complimentary organic toiletries.

To the rear of the apartment, is a spacious fitted kitchen with oven, hob, extractor fan, small fridge, washing machine/tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, plenty of cupboard space, crockery and utensils. There are views to South Pond and a Velux window in the roof for star gazers. You will find some cereal, yoghurt, eggs and milk in the fridge for breakfast.

If you are bringing a dog, I have a very comfy dog bed with blanket and two bowls for your use.

To the front of Pond View there is a small garden with a seating area, planted with lavenders and grasses which overlooks the road and the countryside beyond.

There is usually plenty of parking on the road in front of the property or on the road opposite. If you are coming by train, there are stations at Haslemere, Petersfield and Chichester.

Pond View is a beautiful space, providing easy living in a country town community with Cowdray Park, Petworth and Goodwood easily accessible in the glorious South Downs National Park.

Midhurst is a lovely old market town, steeped in history with an abundance of shops, cafes, stunning Tudor buildings and a fabulous mix of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. There is a farmer's market in the Medieval Market Square the first Saturday of the month from 10am - 4pm. Cowdray Ruins, Cowdray Farm Shop with its fabulous café, Cowdray Golf and, of course, the world famous polo, are all within walking distance.

You can also go mountain biking or strolling on the South Downs way, (local bike hire is available) or explore the beautiful National Trust gardens nearby. Goodwood Racing and Motor Circuit, the cathedral city of Chichester and the lovely beaches at West Wittering are just some of the places to visit in this beautiful area.

My therapy room is on the second floor of the Pond View. When not in use, guests will be unable to use the second floor. You do not need to have a treatment to stay, but if you would like to, these will need to be booked in advance please. I should add that during your stay, my therapy room will be for your sole use only.

I provide a small breakfast, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, butter, milk and basics such as coffee, tea, sugar etc. In due course, I hope to offer freshly prepared organic vegetarian Ayurvedic meals, sourcing as much as I can from my garden or allotment.

There are stairs and different levels in the apartment.

I would also be very grateful if you could please remove shoes at the bottom of the stairs and if you have a dog, I will provide extra towels for your use before using the stairs.

Please note this property is strictly adult only. The Old Courthouse is an art lovers retreat with beautiful pieces adorning the walls. From the moment you step into the apartment there is a treat for the eyes on every wall or corner. Make sure to browse the work and please do ask any questions you may have while you are there!

The space
The large open living room with dining space and kitchen is the centre of this holiday home and certainly the heart. The large smart widescreen television is perfect to cosy down with a film or perhaps snuggle up at the dining table and pour over a board game. Sit at the kitchen island and enjoy a glass of wine, while dinner bubbles away on the efficient gas hob. … That is if you are cooking! Those who want to order in; Midhurst has an abundance of takeaways on your doorstep as well as excellent local restaurants and cafes. Top recommendations are ‘The Spread Eagle’ hotel, ‘The Olive and Vine’, ‘Faustinos Wine & Tapas Bar’ & ‘La Piazetta’.

The Court House has a well-stocked kitchen to fully self-cater during your booking. Why not dine alfresco and take your meal out to the balcony and look out across Midhurst rooftops. On a summers evening it’s the perfect spot to watch the night draw in.

This beautifully designed apartment has two bedrooms. One double bedroom with bathroom next door and a further double bedroom with en suite. (A mezzanine level / ladder can be seen in the photographs but we do not provide linen or beds for this area – please use this area at your own risk).

The is parking available for guests to use.

Please note, the apartment can be quite light. There are blinds in all the rooms but only go half way. There are sleep masks available.

The space
The Gatehouse is a grand former Georgian hotel converted into individual apartment, with long standing permanent residents, it is located in a quiet residential area, if you're coming to Midhurst to party this isn't the place for you, but it is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the local area and be close to some of the most beautiful, historic and exciting areas in West Sussex and the South Downs. The flat is literally a minute’s walk to West Street and a few minutes’ walk right into Midhurst High Street or Cowdray Park.

The apartment features a Large Sitting room with dining area, a modern, fully fitted kitchen. A generous bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.

The spacious light and airy Siting Room features a comfortable sofa and vintage Mid-Century armchairs combined vintage and contemporary art to create a stylish space to relax in. Featuring a concealed TV with a motorised TV lift and a Samsung Smart TV incorporating Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple TV, together with a Sonos speaker and a wireless iPhone charging station. The room also includes a 4 seat Ercol dining table and chairs. With views of Edinburgh Square, it’s the perfect place to start and end your day in Midhurst.

The bedroom is bright, airy and comfortable with an Ercol King Size bed, luxurious bed linens, super soft and warm down duvets and pillows. Hypo allergenic options are also available upon request. A hair dryer is included together with a steam iron and ironing board. With fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers there is plenty of space to store your clothes during your stay.

The flat features an en-suite Bathroom with a large walk in shower an extra-large rain shower head for a great shower experience and combi boiler provides constant instant hot water. Luxurious 600gm bath sheets and hand towels as well as hand soap, body wash and shampoo are also provided to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
