However the cleanliness was very disappointing and dust was everywhere. Finally we had to clean the shower head to get it to work efficiently. So for the price it was very disappointing and it appeared that the property had not been inspected or quality checked before we arrived. Sorry."

The space
The front door opens directly into the large living room with two sofas, flat screen TV and open plan kitchen with table and seating for up to 4 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven and dishwasher but please note there is no washing machine at the cottage.

There is a spacious and comfortable bedroom and shower room on the lower ground floor and further sleeping capacity for one more guest (additional cost £25) on the 5 ft 8 ins sofa bed in the living room.

There is no private parking at the cottage but parking in most of the streets around are unrestricted and Swan Yard carpark is very nearby. No dogs are allowed.

The cottage is very well located for all the amenities in town, and is a wonderful addition to Laura Lye Holiday let portfolio of Arundel Cottages. Arundel is famous for its castle and cathedral but the town is busy year round because there are wonderful antique shops in town and places of interest to visit. The Arundel area is famous for walking in the South Downs and it is close to the sea. Throughout the summer guests flock to Goodwood which hosts some of the world’s most famous motor and horse racing festivals and Arundel is a favourite base for these events.

Guests have exclusive access to the beautifully appointed first floor of the property. The ground floor is used solely as an entrance. While there’s no outdoor space, you’re just moments from riverside walks, green spaces, and Arundel’s charming High Street.

The sofa bed in the lounge folds out to a small double—perfect for one adult or two children to sleep comfortably.

The flat is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood that feels very safe. Since it’s a residential area, we’d really appreciate it if guests could be mindful of noise, especially when coming and going in the evenings.

You’ll find a Bluetooth speaker in the lounge cupboard—feel free to use it and enjoy some music, just keep the volume at a neighbour-friendly level.

Welcome to my first floor Apartment within walking distance to the Town centre and Train Station with free parking for 2 vehicles (one covered).
With views of Arundel across the river with both the Castle and Cathedral in full sight.

The space
I am proud to share my light and airy apartment with you.

The main bed has a comfortable Nectar premier Mattress and the sofa bed is from the mattress company 'Emma' to ensure all have a comfortable night sleep.
The kitchen has all new appliances including a De Longhi Bean to cup Coffee machine for those like me that enjoy freshly grounded coffee.
I don't have a microwave (my crazy hippy side coming out).

The TV is equipped with all forms of entertainent channels. You will need to bring your own log in details.

For info the Stairs are inside the property - and you will need to go up the stairs to access all the rooms in the property.

Guest access
You will have full use of the apartment apart from one bedroom which is locked and used for storage.

There is no outside private space, but plenty of fields, parks and countryside around.

A light stylish apartment in a listed building with an outdoor terrace and views over the town. It is situated on the main High Street directly across the road from Arundel Castle. The location is central a step away from restaurants cafes, bars, bistros, lido and beautiful walks. The accommodation is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.
THERE ARE JUST OVER 2 OUTSIDE STAIRCASES SO THE APARTMENT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL- SPORRY.

Private flat at the back of the main house. The front door is access by using a side entrance door (seen in photo of the front of the house. A path and TWO STAIRCASES then lead to the private flat and terrace.
The main house is used by us and our adult children.

There is free parking on the nearby streets or small car park at the top of the High Street. One hour free parking is allowed on the High Street outside the house.

The newly refurbished studio is accessed up a flight of exterior stairs to its own private entrance. It is a large studio style apartment with high vaulted ceilings and a seperate bathroom.
