An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. And having a parking spot in the lower level garage was a bonus. On my next trip, this will definitely be my first choice. Just one thing to be aware of; our communication with Jamal regarding check-in was done by a phone call and text once we were a half hour from checking in. Only one of our three U.S. based phones had UK voice service so this was not a problem. If you will not have a phone capable of texting and making calls then you may want to let them know ahead of time. I'm sure they have a workaround as they seem to have thought of everything! With its tall ceilings and large windows there is lots of natural light giving it a calming and relaxing feel. The lounge is a large modern space with a dining area in the bay window, a seating area with 2 large sofas for relaxing after a hard day shopping and a fully equipped kitchen with built in appliances including, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a double bedroom with a king size bed and a shower room with a walk in shower and a vanity unit. The apartment has electric heaters which can be adjusted individually for your comfort.

Access to the apartment is through the garden gate from the driveway. There you will find a lovely private garden area with furniture for you to relax on during those lovely summer evenings. Follow the stepping stones around the back of the apartment to your front door with just a couple of steps up into the apartment.
Once in the apartment, everything is on one level.

At just 1.5 miles from the City Walls, and served by regular bus services, Stables Loft is also perfect for those wanting to explore the ancient city on foot. The apartment is above Vinyl Eddie Record Store and so would suit music lovers looking for a base to visit Yorkshire.

Stables Loft has its own dedicated parking space immediately outside the accommodation, which includes a fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, washer dryer and microwave. There is a spacious en-suite shower room, compact lounge/dining area and ample bedroom with super king sized bed; both served with televisions. Free WI-FI is available. The bedroom has attractive views over towards the racecourse itself, which is less than five minute’s walk away.
